I called and talked with Jennifer, I said I texted a quote, Derick came out the next day with a quote, assessed the job site, we picked the color they were out 3 days later to install, two men two trucks all professionally identified, foreman and I went over the job, he understood and the two of them rocked the job. Absolutly beautiful material, which by the way they had to go and get the color we wanted, not a stock color, the workmanship
was impeccable, the customer service I received from Jennifer the office admin. Derick the owner, and the two men who installed could not have been any better. From the 1st call to Jennifer I new I was going to use them. Job was completed fast and efficient, cleaned up and gone.
As it says in a previous review, "quote", They may not be the cheapest, but the are the best. How true it was. Thanks a bunch to the whole team GREAT JOB !!!

We had Sean from Lakeland help us out through the whole process. We had other two companies come to our home and told us that they were not going to be able to help us fight out insurance. When Sean arrived at all times, he was very honest and professional. He help us fight our insurance and won the case, our insurance pay for a new roof and also help us with a gutter that was back pitch and causing a leak inside our home. We are pleased and impressed with Lakeland Exteriors & Roofing. Excellent crew, we have a large ranch that had some existing structural issues that other contractors had not been able to fix. Lakeland not only fixed what was wrong, but they did it while keeping us posted every step of the way. And the finished product was done in 2 days with their 8-10 person crew who worked non-stop, cleaning up as they worked. Their pricing is fair, their communication excellent, and we now have 50 year shingles, amazing warranties, and a beautiful new roof! We highly recommend them.

Hi everyone, I was looking roofing company for my project I ask multiple companies but their response and price is too high but luckily or just called miracle, I just found Lakeland and Derek the guy who I worked with, he’s is super duper person or other word (god gift) he’s is super honest and clear about job and he’s crews people ( mike and Josh ) really hard worker and honest, they can give all answers, you’re question. I recommend %200 this company and these people. Also concern about price, it’s also affordable, overall I don’t have words for appreciation but just go with them.

I've hired Lakeland a few times now for different projects. They have been great to work with and honest. I'm a craftsman myself and their work has been top notch. There are very few companies I have hired who performed as well and met my high standards.

We contacted Lakeland to get a quote on some minor roof repairs that were needed. Lakeland was honest in the repairs that needed to be done and quoted a fair price or the labor and materials. They came out quickly to do the work and communication was very clear. I would highly recommend Lakeland for your roof needs.

Every step of our experience with Lakeland was wonderful. They came out to the house at the time specified and gave us a detailed quote with lots of pictures and options.
The crew that did the work (Eduin, Hefer and Inmer), which took over 10 hours, were considerate of the plants that were at the base where they were working. They showed us the wood that had been damaged and was to be replaced. They also painted the new wood to match the existing siding. After they were finished, they removed all of the debris (you would never know that they had been there).

I want to thank Derek, Miguel, Eduin, Hefer and Inmer for such a pleasant experience. I only wish that other contractors were as honest and easy to work with.

We at Lake County Storage Round Lake Heights, IL are a drive up storage facility. We have Trachte Buildings and were having a difficult time getting repairs done from the original company. I went in search of a company, online, to help us with long overdue repairs. I called many companies, and Finally hit the "metal building repair jackpot!" I reached the office and Jennifer made an appointment with the extremely professional owner, Derek from Lakeland Exteriors. He came by and was able to help us, yay!
Miguel came out, he was also very professional too, also easy to work with.

The best part of the repairs were the two Gentlemen who actually did the repairs: JOSE and EDUARDO. These two Gentlemen were the Utmost in Professionalism! I want to start by saying that I couldn’t be more pleased with Lakeland Exteriors, I met Derek when he did a little flat roof project I needed done , I really liked him and the way he did business. I had him back to give me a price to do my siding, soffit, fascia and gutters, I had a long time to think about what I wanted before I was in a position to actually move forward with the project, I’m a detail freak and I still can’t believe what I would call a transformation, Derek and Miguel were kind enough to allow me to fully explain what I wanted, they exceeded all my expectations, on the final day Miguel went over every inch of the house with me and nipped and tucked everything to perfection, I really appreciated that, I’m so proud to pull in my driveway now, I can’t believe it’s the same house and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Finding a competent company to work on my roof, gutters, soffit, and fascia (all poorly installed by previous companies) was a daunting task. After two years of looking, I found Lakeland Exteriors & Roofing. It was a positive experience from my first phone call, when Jennifer listened to my concerns and set up an appointment for an inspection, to the to the completion of the work. When Derek came out to do the inspection, I let him know I was very leery of contractors because of the previous shoddy work. He listened to all my concerns and let me know that is not how they operate. He determined what would be needed, gave me options. and provided an estimate in a timely manner. He came to the house multiple times to answer questions and help me decide on the color of shingles, the size of the gutters, etc. He also responded quickly to my emails.

Derek explained I could have the work done in the winter or wait until spring. He assured me they could do quality work in the winter, and that’s what I went with. There were some slight delays in completing the work due to weather, but nothing that caused a negative impact on the quality of work. All the installers paid attention to detail, worked hard, finished in a timely manner, and did a great job. They cleaned up as they worked. Brian (site manager) checked with me several times and did a final inspection. Everyone I worked with was professional, polite, helpful, and focused on doing the job correctly – good old-fashioned qualities that aren’t found all that often nowadays. Great job at a fair price.

Lakeland is a quality roofing and siding company. Process was explained and completed when promised. The price was fair and the staff was wonderful. I would recommend them to family and friends.

We have a flat roof on our residence and finding reliable roofers has become increasingly difficult. After failing to elicit a response from any local contractor, I reached out geographically much further to Lakeland Exteriors & Roofing. The phone call was immediately answered by Jennifer. After carefully listening to my request, she indicated that the owner, Derek, would be able to evaluate our roof the next Monday. He evaluated the entire roof including some previous repairs and made suggestions for preventive care instead of up-selling us to a completely new roof. At that time, he indicated that they were scheduled out for 3 weeks.

There weeks and one day later Derek and his crew arrived to complete the suggested care. He and his crew were efficient and courteous, leaving no debris when they were completed. I highly recommend Lakeland and give them my thanks for their expertise and communication.

Lakeland installed new shingles as well as Hardi board siding and trim. Finished the project off with soffit and seamless gutters topped with gutter guards. Good old fashioned service and reliability. Derek and his team of highly skilled professionals, were nothing short of pleasurable to work with. Not only did they repair all of our storm damage, but they took the time to educate us and do the job completely right. If you want your storm damage to be repaired as soon as possible, go ahead and call a potentially uninsured storm chaser. If you want repairs done by an insured builder with decades of proven experience, you would be foolish not to at least consider Lakeland Exteriors.

They cleaned the gutters and installed Raindrop Gutter Guard. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. All questions were answered promptly. Work was done ahead of expectation. Job site was cleaned up like they were never here. Would highly recommend.

The entire crew was professional, clean and respectful to the home and the surroundings of the yard. Derick and his crew did a remarkable job in the freezing cold. When we first noticed that we had a leak they came out and did a temporary fix; worked with our insurance company, ordered the roofing materials and fixed the roof in 3 days.

John and his crew handled my reroof and gutter replacement after a hailstorm. He was quick to come out and gave me an estimate but wasn’t pushy like the storm chasers that are here today and gone tomorrow. He’s been in this business 25 years or so from what I can recall and has countless installations surrounding where he lives (he’s a local guy). Given that situation, his confidence and how down to earth he is, I felt very comfortable hiring him versus several others we considered. Definitely would use him/Lakeland again should Mother Nature throw us another curve ball.

I hired Lakeland Exteriors (LE) to replace my roof (tear-off, deck replacement, ice shield, shingles, etc.) Everything about my experience with LE was superb. From the thoroughness of inspection (LE was the only contractor that actually got up on my roof,) the timeliness of the quote delivery, the scheduling of my job, the quality of their workmanship (by experienced and factory trained installers) and the tremendous communication and customer service after the job, LE was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend them and will use them again for other exterior work on my home.

These folks are terrific - high integrity, honest and saved me lots of money in the process. They came out inspected my roof and chimney - then provided expert advice on the roof repair (didn’t need it). Then came back in couple of days and repaired the flashing around my chimney in less than an hour for a very reasonable price. Note: another roofer insisted the flashing had to be completely replaced - these folks were honest and made repairs to a good flashing instead of having to replace.

This is the second time we used Lakeland Exteriors for roof repairs. The first time involved a flat membrane-type roof, which they completely replaced 3 years ago. This time they re-shingled the roof on an out-building on our property. We were very pleased, and recommend them wholeheartedly.

They did an outstanding job. I received a bid and they said they could do the job in a couple weeks. They came out and did my house and a detached three-car garage. Stripped both the house and the garage reroofed both cleaned up and we're done in a day and a half. We had a huge storm a week later and my house was dry as a bone.
I would recommend them to anyone very professional and worth every penny.
