Lakeland Exteriors & Roofing - Skokie, IL

I use Lakeland exteriors to do a project on the outside of my house, and I could not be any more thrilled with the work that they completed. Not only is the main foreman really awesome at the work he does, but the collaboration between the head, foreman and the owner and the communication to me as the customer was incredible since the beginning. We had a small hiccup with what I originally wanted, and I thought the way my project was designed was going to be flawless. There was a small issue, because of the fault of my wife and I, in Lakewood next years came out and not only did they fix the problem, they made it way beyond our expectations, and we are so ecstatic at how good of a job they did. I absolutely love the work that they did, And I love how awesome they were to work with. Thank you all so much.

Lakeland impressed the heck out of my wife and I with their speed and efficiency of putting a new roof on our house and garage.

They offered a range of different shingles and were able to answer our questions about them. They helped us make our choice without ever making us feel that they were steering us toward a particular product, which we appreciated. I was able to stop by their office to look at samples that we weren't initially considering as well. Excellent customer service throughout the entire process.

Because this wasn't an emergency repair, we were able to delay the installation until the weather was better for this type of work. The team showed up early and swarmed over the roofs, quickly removing the old shingles and then installing the new ones. The efficiency that they worked with was amazing to watch, this is clearly a well practiced group of roofers.

Should I need to have a roof done again, I will not hesitate to call Lakeland immediately.

Lakeland is the BEST with all things consulting, and actually carrying out the project. I recently purchased a property with substantial back, siding, and roofing issues. I had about 4 weeks during thanksgiving break between closing and tenants moving in. Lakeland got in there ON THANKSGIVING and got to work. They turned the work around quick I was able to stay on track and on budget. I will certainly be using them for all of my future projects. They even rebuilt the staircase in the back for us and added other work outside of their scope just to help us in a pinch. Big thanks to Miguel and Derek!

We had our roof replaced by Lakeland Exteriors 9 years ago but recently i noticed a soft spot on the roof and Lakeland came out and fixed the issue without charge and they were very professional. We would recommend them to anyone and will be using them again in the future.

Lakeland Exteriors did a great job in replacing my house roof etc. This was my second project with Lakeland Exteriors and I had great experience both times. Derek and Miguel are great to work with. Derek is very prompt, honest and clear in addressing questions. The quality of Lakeland workmanship is great. The job site was thoroughly cleaned after jobs. The jobs were completed on the promised timeline. Lakeland crew members are very professional, competent and easy to work with.

Brian and his roofing team and gutter team were excellent! They were on time, arrived on their scheduled days, contacted me when a rain day occurred to reschedule asap and called again after everything was installed to make sure my husband and myself were happy with their work.
I had scheduled consults with 6 roofing companies total. What really sold us on Lakeland in the end (besides their all around great professional vibe and knowledge) was their ability to talk to my husband AND myself (a woman) in the same manner, making sure both of our opinions were heard and making eye contact with me as well. Too often I am ignored because it's assumed that my husband knows what he is talking about in terms of household repairs and working with all of these respectful men was refreshing.

Awesome customer support, very good “quarterbacking” by reception, had me well appraised of the process and what to expect. Did roof in two days, cleaned up well, and gutters about the same. Didn’t have to concern myself with permits etc. and felt that I EASILY got what I paid for.

We hired Lakeland Exteriors to repair several leaks in our gutters. Even though it was a small job they sent someone out promptly, provided a fair estimate and completed the job timely. we were very pleased.

I had such a great experience with Lakeland, I highly recommend them. I just bought my house last year so beyond having a roofer address a specific issue, I wanted everything checked out. Derek visited my home quickly after my initial call, he thoroughly evaluated the roof and then focused only on the work that needed be done (all of which was visible). I approved their very reasonable estimate as soon as it arrived and they completed the work within a couple of weeks. They were professional, detailed, communicative, responsive, reasonably priced and did great work. They worked with my schedule and didn't waste time when they were on-site. The entire process from scheduling a roof replacement to the completion was seamless and actually enjoyable. The bid was competitive and Derek was able to schedule my work within a reasonable time frame. The team was courteous as they worked hard on a hot day to finish my roof. It was nice to see that Derek checked in several times to make sure things were going well. The crew cleaned up my yard as if nothing had happened that day and the roof is beautiful! I would highly recommend LakeLand to anyone looking for a reliable company with affordable prices, friendly team members and exceptional craftsmanship. I will use them again when need be.

I cannot recommend Derek and his team highly enough. They came over after another roofing company charged me and did not fix the roof issue that was causing water to leak into the house. They arrived exactly when they said they would, were able to diagnose the problem right away, and got to work quickly and efficiently to get the job done. I haven't had a drop of water since! They were also very professional, friendly, and very patient explaining the issue and answering all of my questions. I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family in the future.

From the first call to the completion of the job, Derrick was responsive and patient, taking extra time and great care to explain every step in detail and to guide through the entire process. His customer service and communication was exceptional. In my business as a realtor I know that clear communication is everything! Especially when you are working with a condo association where extra hand holding is needed. We had a garage re-roofed, repair to a main roof, and metal capping installed over a parapet wall that. resolved longstanding leaking. And I can’t believe how beautiful the capping is too!
