L & S Windows

Communication wasn't very updated. Partly due to email lag, but I can receive texts, which I had made very clear. And that, with my job, that was better for me.
Also, the manager answered the phone during a personal crisis, and was immediately rude before I could even say anything. I remained calm, however, I only did so, for my mother's sake. She used them previously for her replacement windows & was pleased.
The dumpster was left a week after the roof was completed. Part was due to the big wind storm/schedule, part was because they left their tool truck infront of the dumpster, making it impossible to move when the dumpster company came to get it the first time.
I had to call during the storm because they hadn't put heavy stuff on top and had things blowing out ofnthe dumpster, while I was at work. They did come relatively fast to secure, which I was grateful for.
The pluses were the speed the roof was replaced, and the cleanup was done well enough. Again, I think part of the siding stuff that was in the yard was probably due to the storm. The roofing debris was extended well cleaned up. Also, their workers left chicken bones in my yard from lunch. (I know this because i had seen them sitting there eating the chicken). They did pick up most of their personal trash, but not the bones, & a few pcs here and there that I had to pick up.
They did replace a screen that had been torn during the siding replacing. Easy to do with the siding, and was hassle-free.
The owner, Mike, was much more friendly & personable. Have been waiting for an apology since (from the manager). Probably won't get one. But rudeness will not be tolerated or rewarded. If you're the voice of the company, you need to do better. Yes I made them.aware of how that made me feel.
Mike did go above and beyond though. Walked around with me to address concerns a couple of times.
Hopefully, time will tell the quality of the job. The tiles are a bit "lumpy" due to the tar not being able to get hot enough to settle the tiles down, so I was told. I'll be contacting Mike if it's not better by June.
I'll try to remember to follow up a d see if I want to change my rating.

Had 2 windows installed in 2021. Amazing service and very happy with the installation. One of my windows was broken recently and have tried to reach them by email and phone. No response. Finally after several calls, the woman answered the phone and she was about as rude as I have experienced with a business. Was a simple question to see if they were able to do a dash replacement. She lit into me about something completely unrelated to me. Said she already talked to “some woman” twice about my issue yet I am the only one that has been emailing and calling for help. Whomever she explained this to had nothing to do with my broken glass and obviously the first time I’ve heard that they cannot get replacement for those windows. I explained to her that this was the first time I’ve heard this and she is annoyed with me for something completely unrelated. She went on to say that she would explain this to me one more time that she cannot help. I can promise that she will never have the opportunity to “help” me again. Maybe you can work with someone else have have a much more pleasant experience but sounds like this is nothing new. Extremely rude and disrespectful.

I can not say enough good things about this company! They are good, honest, amazing to work with, incredibly accommodating to my schedule, affordable, military friendly! and treat you like family. They were incredibly professional, very organized and clean. I would recommend them to anyone and can’t wait to use them on future products.

They did a great job siding our home. Workers were courteous, punctual, knowledgeable. I recommend this company to anyone who needs work done. We are very pleased.

Amazing Job and service

From Job estimate and material selection, through professional roof installation, to spotless clean up.
It all started with the December 2022 Christmas storm. We lost several shingles from our rooftop.
They were the only team who responded to our call and emergency job was done jus in two days in the middle of holiday break. So we decided to replace the entire roof by springtime.
In April we discussed and planned our roof replacement and just in a few weeks after we've got a call from the shop. Job started as planned with all materials delivered as scheduled. They stripped the big roof and did prep job just in one day. Did very good job protecting our walls, windows and bushes with the tarp. The day after by 5 PM the entire project was finished including a spotless cleanup. Hard to believe - 3000 Sq feet house roof just in two days.
Nice professional job done by nice hardworking people.

I have used L & S Windows for many projects at my home over the past 18 years. These have ranged from window replacement, re-modeling, floor installation, vinyl siding and a new construction build. My experiences have ALWAYS been positive. This team is very professional and always on time with a "can do" attitude. Siding and windows done in my parents house, windows less than 4 years old inside of double pane shattered in an empty room that no one uses. Another window shattered this week on the second floor the outside window. My parents Call the company they don’t know why their cheap quality windows are randomly breaking with no one in the room. They claim windows are not their issue- don’t waste your money on windows that won’t last four years. They also broke the frame installing the living room window on the inside, replaced it with an unfinished board and wind was coming thru the repair with the crack left from the “repair”. Run away from this business they take advantage of the elderly. Roof also leaking where they lifted it up to install the siding- left a hole big enough to stick your finger in. They came back but they didn’t bother to fix it, my dad had to flex seal it they blamed the roofer from 15 years ago for the leak after they installed the siding.

Terrific People, and amazing service after the sale and installation. I had a slider installed 8 years ago, along with a front door. I called them this week with a hardware issue and in two days they were at my door with the parts happy to help, at no charge. I recommend their company to everyone.

Windows great from start to install. However the siding crew had been a bit of a problem. Needless to say 4 scuffs on the front of the house from the boom are still there. Internet wire had to be replaced after it was pulled ripped the soffit. They did fix the soffit. And today I have to get my wires replaced since they just ripped them out of the house on the 2nd floor. The satellite guys figured that one out. Yay more expenses I guess I should have call the satellite people 3 months ago.

L & S windows always doing awesome job. Show up on time professional install and the whole company staff is so nice and friendly I doing business with L & S Windows about 12 years good job Scott. I am highly recommend everyone need install windows and door to find L & S windows to help you never disappointed.

Scott was great during the estimate. We couldn’t have been more disappointed in the service via lady answering the calls and responding to questions as we planned for window installation. Then the delay in timeframe (installation was pushed out 4 weeks) really made our remodel project more complicated than it needed to be as our other teams were on time and had to back track after the windows were installed (remodeling a log cabin with staining and chinking).
Ultimately, the team that showed up to complete the window replacement for the entire house was amazing and the product was just as described.
If the individual answering the phone was a reasonable person I would give at least 4 stars, she really hindered the communication and represented poor business practice.

The updates by Laurianne, accommodating our request of install date, to the professionalism and perfection demonstrated by Scott Jr and co worker on the job completion. It was great doing business with a local company!

All around fantastic. Emailing with Laurianne is easy, she responds quickly. I placed two separate window orders with them, and both times it was like the day they got my windows in, they came and installed them the very next day. Install was fast, tidy, crew was pleasant to be around and the end result looks amazing, I couldn't be happier. The crew even had to contend with my bad dog and a swarming beehive! I couldn't believe it, they went to war with this hornets' nest to finish getting the window in. Scott Jr even had wasp spray in the truck. 10/10, would recommend and hire again.

This place is a joke,please save your money and go elsewhere. They are unreliable,unprofessional,and caused more damage than good! They were doing a roofing job for us. During this time they ran out of materials,left the roof exposed during rain storms,came back 3 days later to finish the job. Each day we had to call them to find out what was going on. They never would call us,communication was VERY poor! When they finally finished the job our ceiling started leaking right after. Sent a crew member over to fix the roof. He admitted he screwed up and forgot to seal an area. Never fixed the ceiling. Called back was told we're top priority. Scot (owner) came over to view it. Said they would re-do the area of roofing and fix ceiling. They started to fix the ceiling then never finished! Days later no call. Very sketchy!
