Eric and his team did a fantastic, high-quality job remodeling a 1980s condo that we bought as a vacation home. We are extremely happy with the results and the experience of working with them. Among the work we requested was opening up the small galley kitchen and adding more cabinets and countertop, remodeling the existing bathroom, installing a second bathroom where a walk-in closet was already primed with plumbing, and reconfiguring the laundry closet. Eric and Dean listened carefully to what we wanted and made great suggestions, and we appreciated details they brought up that we had not considered. As we lived out of state, Eric kept us updated by email or text, was quick to respond when we contacted him, and was always available to meet with us whenever we visited. We love our "new" condo and would definitely hire them again if we have another project. Thank you, L R Higgins!

Eric and his team renovated our primary bathroom over the summer, and we had a great experience working with them. The cost and time estimates they gave at the beginning were accurate, Eric was very responsive throughout the whole renovation, and his team was exceptionally professional and courteous. Their work was all high-quality, and our "new" bathroom is beautiful! We would definitely work with Eric and his team again.

Eric and the crew at L.R. Higgins just finished replacing deteriorated fascia boards for us. We have an old house that requires a project each year, it seems. We have used them multiple times before for projects big and small, including for a kitchen remodel, and they are capable and responsive. Every construction project has its challenges, and they help navigate these with their knowledge and calmness. Highly recommended.

I have owned 3 homes and utilized lots of contractors in my life — and L R Higgins is the best. They did a kitchen renovation that was complicated. The quality of work is excellent. My home was built in 1950 and I wanted to keep some of the vintage elements, thus blending the new with the old — and these guys got it perfect!
I highly recommend them. In fact, I’m hiring them for my next project.

Highly recommend Eric and his crew. They did a full kitchen renovation for us. The project was completed on time with precise attention to detail. The entire team was professional and hard working. Dean, the project manager, in particular, is extremely skilled and an absolute pleasure to work with. LR Higgins replaced my front porch last month and did an amazing job. They were professional and thorough and this was the first project I’ve had done on my house that was actually completed in the time quoted. Highly recommend them!

I don't give 5/5 stars on a review often, but I was extremely impressed with the work LR Higgins did on a water damage project on my Hollis house and would not hesitate to hire them again. Dean was our project manager and did an excellent job. We had damage internally from water that had seeped behind our siding which resulted in deck rot (because flashing wasn't previously applied correctly) and internal wall damage in the basement. The 3-man team that worked on the project was detail-oriented and focused on doing the job "right" rather than doing it quickly (which I greatly appreciated) but also did their best to make the exterior work blend and match the rest of the siding so it would not stand out like a sore thumb. The cost was reasonable for the work done and I felt like the work was high quality. I had unsuccessfully contacted 3 other companies for estimates before contacting LR Higgins and either wouldn't get my calls returned or they didn't show up for the estimate. Eric Higgins was very responsive via email, called me back after I left my first message about the issue, and I was in contact with him via email several times during the project. He always responded. I would definitely recommend this contractor group and use them again for work on my house.

Our home was built in the 40's and had its last refresh sometime in the 80's. One of our bathrooms was in serious disrepair. Eric gave us an estimate and after seeing the urgency of the repairs, scheduled us right away. Eric reviewed what we wanted and gave us advice on what needed to be done and how. The bathroom was finished ahead of schedule and the results speak for themselves. We LOVE the new window!

The small team that did the work answered questions we had and put up with our barking corgis that were elsewhere in the house. They did a great job.
