David and his team did a great job. They were efficient, quick and did a nice job cleaning up after. Took the time to show me everything after and explain anything they came cross. Recommend.

After submitting an online quote, Dave came to my house two days later himself, jumped up on my roof and gave me a quote! He was extremely friendly, thorough explaining what needed to be addressed, and then went over shingle options. Later that same week, Dave and his crew arrived at 8am and had the entire roof removed by 11am. His team tarped off my entire roofline and protected my windows and doors from falling shingles with plywood, swept, and blew out my gutters! A few hours later the new roof was done! The final product could not have turned out any better. Highly recommended

I highly recommend David Deschaine. We got a few estimates for vinyl siding on our home, and David's quote was the most reasonably priced and he was the prompt with communication, and clear about expectations/timing etc. We are glad we contracted with him for the job. The work was great, and he and his crew addressed some unforeseen issues in a fair, honest, and prompt manner. David was always easy to get in touch with, explained things in a clear, helpful way, and the work was very professional. We have already recommended him to family and neighbors, and will continue to do so!

I was so impressed with the work that Dave Deschaines crew did all in one day. They were so careful in taking care of my deck, walkways, outdoor speakers and shrubs. They finished my very large roof in one day and they were pretty meticulous in making sure everything was cleaned up afterward. The on-site Forman was so attentive to what the workers were doing and to our needs. So impressed I would definitely recommend

David Deschaine responded quickly to my request for an estimate regarding replacing my roof due to age of the roof and recent severe storm damage. The estimate was within an acceptable range, so we agree to use his team to replace the roof. David Deschaine’s team showed up early upon the agreeable date. The work was done very professionally, they were thorough making sure all areas were properly covered and secure. They cleaned so well it is very hard to tell they had been there. The roof was beautiful.

David was very responsive and professional. We had some damage to our roof from a storm and he came super fast so we didn’t endure more water damage. Would highly recommend. Very reasonably priced as well.

We had Dave out to our house a couple weeks ago. He called me ahead of time to go over the problem and literally diagnosed the issue over the phone based on what I told him. We had a leak showing inside the bathroom ceiling and he said it was most likely the vent pipe gasket in the roof versus an entire roof job. Sure enough when he came over the next day he said he could see the gasket all cracked from the ground. He and his assistant put up the ladder and fixed the problem and were done in less than 90 minutes. Efficient, honest, reliable are how I would describe Dave and his work. This repair cost us about $600 for both pipe gaskets instead of a $10k+ roof job. I highly recommend Dave if you're looking for roof repairs.

Dave and his team did a fantastic job replacing our roof. They were able to get the job done in short order. They delivered on every promise and then some. They took the time to either move or protect anything that could be damaged while the team worked. They did an extra thorough job cleaning up afterward to ensure nothing was left behind, including sweeping the deck and sidewalks. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a roofer. He and his team far exceeded our expectations.

I was extremely pleased with the team’s work , procedure and clean up. Very careful with property and the cleanup superb. Very high quality product. After all was done one team member actually watered my flowers. I will recommend to anyone. My neighbors were impressed.

Called Dave asking for estimate for complete roofing replacement and found estimate to be in line with what I was expecting to pay. We have an oversized cape with attached mud room and garage with three large dormers which adds time to the job. Dave called and set the date for the replacement and by 8:00am there was a full team onsite to start the work along with an onsite foreman. By midmorning the roof was completely stripped and by 2:30pm the roof was on and the jobsite was left as it was found, clean and raked like no one was ever here. The onsite foreman was very communicative as the job was progressing and made sure before he left the site that I was happy with the results. Would have no problems recommending Dave and his team to anyone needing to have their roof replaced.

The crew did a splendid job! Stripped off old shingles, all new roof components, and new shingles that coordinate very well with the house. And cleaned up like you’d not even know 15 workers were here. One day and it’s a pretty big house.

David Deschaine Roofing was excellent. We really needed a new roof before the snow started falling and David made it a priority to help us. He was here later that day to give us an estimate, scheduled us for a few days later and they were in and out in a day. High quality work at a great price. We highly recommend.

Called Dave on a Wed, he was out that day to take a look and give me an estimate. He had a couple recommendations on color choice, one of which I used and it looks great. The estimate was just under a couple of others that I had gotten so I feel like I got good value, the service from Dave and also his crew on the day of installation was fantastic. David Deschaine is amazing! I had to urgently replace the roof, including the sheathing quickly before the Maine winter really took off. Deschaine’s team did the whole roof in one day (in 45 degree weather no less!), installed vents, replaced the protective layer around the chimney, cleaned out the gutter and everything. Really wonderful company to work with. 10 out of 10 recommend! Friendly, kind, super quality and fast!!!!!

The crew all worked well together and did a great job and cleaning up as well.
They installed ice and water shield up to 9feet. They truly went the extra mile and it was a blessing.
They even did the generator shed. They enjoyed some coconut bars and cinnamon rolls as a thank you for such hard work.
We are both thankful hubby won't have to climb the roof to clear the snow any more of which he had to when we had turbines because it now has a ridge vent

From the first contact, Dave Deschaine was professional, yet personable. He was quick to respond and show up to inspect my roof. After thorough inspection, it was very obvious to me that I needed to completely replace my old roof. It looked like a trampoline when he walked on it. Dave showed my wife and I our options with real samples of shingles to choose from. He explained the process and gave us a written quote.
Within a week, his crew was out. They showed up on time in the morning at 8:00. By 1:35 our roof was completely done and the area thoroughly cleaned. His foreman checked in with me throughout the process to show me what they were doing and once done sent me several pictures of the process.

Great company to work with. Dave is extremely personable and easy to get a hold of with questions. Job was done in a timely fashion just about 1month from initial quote. Had our 20yr roof replaced before installing solar, he also did our pool shed. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to replace their roof.

With a roof only time can truly tell, but from our experience with David and the crew we are extremely happy! The roof looks amazing and they did a great job with an admittedly tricky house.

We have a vaulted ceiling and no headroom between the ceiling and the roof. David was great at assessing the difficulties and watching to make sure no nails went through. We also have a bay window that extrudes from the home and he took extra care to make sure it was covered and avoided during the stripping process.

He let me know the couple of times there were additional costs (i.e. let me know the chimney flashing was shot and needed replaced) so that we weren't surprised by anything at the end.

They are fast too! We called on a Wednesday and the roof was done the next Thursday (a week later). At 8 in the morning we had our old roof and no hint anything was going to change. By 5 that evening the new roof was on, all debris gone, the windows had been cleaned of any dust, the gutters cleared out, a magnet rolled through the yard to pick up any nails and the yard left immaculate.

I've had to replace numerous shingles on my 22 year old home since I bought it in 2017. When one blew off this spring I knew it was time to get a new one. Dave came out and gave me a reasonable estimate AND said he could do the work in the next week-ten days.
Dave, Mike and the rest of the crew were all fabulous. Dave and Mike communicated with me regularly with updates about the work. We did two walk arounds by the end of the day. From start to finish I was impressed with the team effort and am very pleased with my new roof.

We were planning to have our 21 year old roof replaced and ended up with a leak before we had secured a contractor. Dave had done a patch for us a number of years ago and when I called him he was very responsive.

As soon as the rain stopped they did an emergency patch of the roof and I asked for a quote for full replacement. We were happy with the quote, signed right away and the entire roof was replaced within a week. He was on time, provided good communication, the crew was careful to avoid damaging shrubs or decking and the roof looks great! I was given an estimate over the phone. I wanted to compare estimates between this company and others so I called back and ask if he would be so kind as to email me a written estimate. He told me he did not like the way I was treating him. I said obviously you’re misunderstanding, all I want is to compare estimates. And he repeated that he didn’t like the way I was treating him and he was going to bow out.
I still do not know what it is he took offense to, I assure you I was very polite because I was definitely interested in seeing a written estimate. I would never deal with somebody who is this unprofessional

This was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had with a contractor. We met on a Thursday. They were here the following Tuesday and had my old roof off and the new one installed in one day. That included the installation of a new bathroom vent and of a vent on the peak of my roof. The crew was professional. The work exceptional. They even put a new roof on my shed. All our neighbors are impressed as well, asking who installed the roof.

David was a great find!! He came right out, took a look and then performed the repair the next day. It was a great relief! He showed me pics of the issue and the fix when it was done. I will definitely be calling him again and referring him to my neighbors.
