L & M Motors Inc - RAM

I took my car to L&M when I discovered a dark gray sludge inside my coolant reservoir. L&M informed me this sludge was caused by transmission fluid invading my coolant tank, and that this indicated a leak in one of the systems. Once they found the issue I trusted L&M with $1,700 to fix this problem, as I was under the impression it was a very straightforward fix.
After 2 weeks, I returned to pick up my car and I took the time to read the invoice L&M had provided. It clearly states a major leak in my transmission cooler was found to be the problem, but it doesn't say anywhere how they fixed it? Instead, it says they flushed the coolant system, replaced a cooler and coolant tank, and recommend another flush in 10-14 days. They replaced the coolant tank because trans fluid seeps into plastic, thus seeping into the coolant and trans fluid invading the system.
So imagine my dismay when I pop the hood and speculate the new coolant tank is stained in transmission fluid again, the new coolant I also paid for is contaminated again, and this is the SAME exact problem I just paid 1,700 to have FIXED. That's $400 transmission fluid and $40 coolant wasted, by the way. Along with the $40 tank and $30 cap y'all charged me for separately, that's RUINED too and the guy at the shop said a little trans fluid wouldn't hurt the coolant tank when I tried to show him this was still a problem. If it doesn't hurt then WHY DID HE INSIST ON CHANGING IT IN THE FIRST PLACE? Furthermore it DOES hurt or it wouldn't be considered a PROBLEM in the first place! I asked him why he didn't just fix the leak and he said he was trying to save me money. I know that's a lie because that $1700 was completely wasted and didn't do anything but cost me more money. That's all he did. Then 3 weeks later he said he could go ahead and fix it for almost $4,000 and that would include replacing another tank, cooler, etc. all over AGAIN, if he did his job in the first place i would have happily paid 4k to get my car fixed, but now im just supposed to eat that 1,700 right? 10/10 would NOT recommend this place. IT'S A JOKE!

Took my truck into be warranty serviced that I bought from Harper Dodge , service that was needed was a turn single lens replaced due moisture getting in lens.

After taking it in I get a call telling me I needed to take it to the dealer I bought it from because I would need the whole mirror replaced and painted.

Either they just don’t wanna warranty other cars not bought at there dealership or the service manager is so far disconnected from the product he sells .

They lied about running a diagnostic on my truck and they charged me $85.00 They verbally told me they did and when I asked for the paperwork on the diagnostic they said I told them not to do it and that the charges was for it being pushed into the garage. What happened was it set at the shop for 3 weeks and i told them i was gonna have it towed to a different shop bc they just let it set. Then the same day the guy promised to have it looked at that day. They said it was probably a head gasket just guessing without doing the test and i told them i wasn't going to have the heads fixed so they decided not to run the test and charge me for ther guess after they supposedly had pushed it into the shop. They are crooked and I've heard others say the same after the fact.I give them no stars . Anyone who gives a stars probably works for them. Js

They did not fix my problem and SD they were scared to do what needed to be done , well I done what they told me they done and u know I seen and still same problem , charged me 500 and SD come again , well I can shoot in the dark on my own hunh

Purchased my vehicle from L&M a few days ago. The service was outstanding. Everyone was curious and friendly. Once I picked my vehicle, I was out of there in less than an hour. I recommend you give our local dealerships a try!!

I bought my 2020 Silverado from here back in June. It was in immaculate condition and had super low miles. Their asking price was very fair as it was roughly 5-6k below the values I got for it on KBB, True car, and Edmonds. I also thought the 2800 I was given for my 2012 Fusion on trade in was pretty good too, considering the condition it was in. Rob, my salesman, made the process very quick and hassle free. I was expecting a bunch of back and forth mind games, BS addons, etc that you would expect when at a car dealer, but there was none of that here. He was also able to get me a good interest rate with a well known lender, despite my fairly short credit history. If you're in the East, TN area and are looking for an almost brand new used truck with super low miles, I'd go check them out.

My experience at L & M Motors was as good an experience as one could hope to have when going to an auto dealership, which most of the time is about as pleasant as a root canal.

Gary in the service department was extremely courteous, helpful, straightforward and all the work was done at a very reasonable price

I went here to get a part for my Dodge Stratus and they had it in stock! Super nice people too! Great customer service I highly recommend it.

I took my car back 2 get worked in agin it didn't last 2 days if they worked it or not n fri i took it 2 put on a new battery it was in the back seat the manager put on one of their's 2 begin it was gonna cost $24.95 it ended costed $180 i most definitely won't go back there agin

Good, honest people. My whole family bought vehicles here, and I got work done on a used vehicle. Tony in Parts/Service is especially a good dude.

These people were very helpful and friendly. They did not push at all. Everything and everyone there was very easy-going. And they really knew the vehicles. They let me take the van for a test-drive by myself so I had peace and quiet and time to think about things. About 2 hours after I drove off with my new used vehicle, the driver's window stopped working. I drove it back immediately and my salesperson met me as I drove up and asked what was wrong. They had to order a part, and had me come back the next business day. Even the people in the Service Dept. were friendly and thanked me for shopping there for my vehicle. I would go back in a heartbeat.

I'm very glad to have sent my Jeep Grand Cherokee ecodiesel in with L&M Motors. Had put in DEF fluid that I found out was bad from Walmart in Sweetwater TN. Was trying to find a dealership who wasn't going to make me pay $125 to have it analized like the dealership in Oakridge and Linoir City.
Told L&M Motors my problem they told me the price and they kept it for a extra day because of not having enough technicians. The bill was exactly what they said it was going to be. Will be doing more business with L&M Motors I'm glad to see a dealership that isn't out to rip people off like other dealerships.

Great service, friendly and polite staff, definitely the atmosphere of a welcoming and family owned dealership. Staff was very knowledgeable and personable, prices were some of the best you'll ever find.

Kevin was awesome to deal with on the purchase of a new truck. He was very nice and informative. There was no pressure in the entire process. It was a pleasure to do business with L & M Motors.
