Very nice guy, as is his dog Buddy! Helped me troubleshoot my solar and got me on my way quickly, highly highly recommend visiting for any campervan or rv needs, I’d give more stars if I could.

Kurt helped us with our issue with our RV quickly and efficiently and had us on our way! He’s the guy to call!

Kurt is a great guy to go to for service. We were in a pinch, being from out of town, not familiar with the area and towing a new to us trailer. He was able to quickly adjust our hitch height and gave great advice on easier hitching techniques, recommended upgrades without being pushy and even suggestions on solar improvements. He was even dog friendly! I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Kurt if we're ever in Billings again or recommend him to anyone needing prompt and professional service.

Great service! He fit us in while we were traveling and had a valve on our horse trailer break. I would (and likely will) go out of my way to come here again.

The guys at this shop are AMAZING!!! They got us in on an emergent RV storage compartment collapse where our solar batteries were - they completely astonished me how they built a whole new undercarriage basically and did it same day these guy’s truly are a great example of caring for the customer and what they do!!! Kurt is the man to go and see with all your trailer needs! We had a leaf spring issue on a trip across the country and Kurt got our trailer straight in and was under it checking out the probable within minutes. He fixed up the broken shackle quickly and had us on our way with great advice in under an hour! My wife wants to drive back from VA every time we need work doing to see Kurt!

It is hard to plus Steve Clark's review below, but I will try. We were two days into a one month trip and our toilet in our fifth wheel broke. We were 1350 miles into a 2300 mile destination for work. I had no time to waste. I called Kurt and I couldn't believe he said come on over and we will look after you. Literally, I was there in 45 minutes later and the new toilet installed in 40 minutes or less. Not only are Kurt and Matt the greatest I have ever worked with, they do not over charge and by all means they could for the level of service they provide. If there was a sixth star I would have highlighted that. I only wish I lived near Kurt for anything that happened to the trailer in the future!

Absolutely the best service in town says what he says he’s going to do and is very reasonable and a fair businessman. You couldn’t ask for any better Place and Billings to work on your travel, trailer or motorhome.

When you're 2000 miles from home and broken down, the last thing anyone wants to hear is "we're too busy to get to you ". Kurt and his son Matt definitely understand this. Even though they were booked solid for months, they offered to help us. In a matter of minutes, what we feared was a disaster, they had repaired and had us on our way. We had a microwave that was coming loose and out of its support bracket. Kurt took a quick look and said he would take care of it right now! Within 10 minutes he secured the microwave with new and better screws and we were on our way! We will definitely come back if we need anything else fixed!

While Kurt's couldn't actually perform any repairs to our coach he did recommend a mechanical shop that could. They steered me straight so I'm sure he will do the same for you. Thanks for giving us the H U for the Hot Rod Garage.

Excellent service! No middle man to deal with, you talk directly to the guys doing the work and they are more than happy to explain everything and tell you your options. The last place I went to was horrible. They charged a fortune, did subpar work, and had not even started the work the day I was scheduled to pick it up. These guys did some of the smaller work for no charge and went over everything they did with me after. Less than a week from the time I went to them until it was finished. I will not be going to anyone but these guys.

This father and son team are incredible! We needed a quick repair on water pipe for gray water. They said to drop it off and they would do the best they could to fix it in time for our trip. That was Tuesday. This is Thursday. We are on our way home with a job well done on our camper. These two are extremely nice, kind, understanding, and capable. We highly recommend Kurt's Repair. Will definitely return for their help if the need arises.

Great help with our motorhome, 30 amp electrical outlet had shorted out and melted! Just got us right in and replaced the plug in half an hour. We also bought a surge protector from them. Great service, fair price and I'm so thankful!

I was passing through from the east coast and the left rear turn signal wasn’t working on my travel trailer. The owner told me to come on in as I was arriving into town at 3pm on a Friday. He quickly fixed the problem despite the extreme heat and working me in on a Friday afternoon. He saved my trip. And just a genuinely good guy.

Worked very quickly very kind and very well priced!! While my dad helped they were very nice and joked with us and talked.

My family and I are moving to South Alaska from Texas and we bent our cargo trailer axles going through a snowstorm in Central Colorado. I couldn't even find someone to work on the trailer in all of Wyoming or most of Montana. I called Kurt and even though he had other projects he fit us in. He and his son had us back on the road in a day and a half and the service was extremely affordable. I will be making future trips from Texas back North with a trailer, I will be back through Billings for maintenance at Kurt's on the way. Kurt’s work and attention to detail are amazing! I was taken care of in a timely matter dealing with some waterlines and a leaky old roof on a camper. The cost for the work was extremely fair and I am definitely going back if I have any other work needed.

RV broken? Then this is where you need to take it! Kurt and his son are an excellent team – each bringing their specialized knowledge to the business. Not only are they experienced and proficient, but they are actually passionate about RV’s and upgrades. They did an excellent job on my solar install, and furthermore, they thoroughly explained how it works, even using a more sophisticated install on another unit to showcase what is possible.
I’ve been taking my RVs here for about four years now and Kurt is always able to pull through. Even when the big dealers are backlogged for months and/or give you the run-around on what the actual issue is, or repair it in a sub-par way, Kurt is able to get to my RV in a timely fashion and fix the actual root problem – right, the first time. We were on our way home to fargo nd from West yellowstone had a brake issue and the hub was getting smoking hot. called 6 shops told us it would be atleast a day and they weren't interested. Kurt got us in fixed up in less than an hr. THANK YOU MUCH!

Had a number of RV issues while driving through Billings. Called Kurt and he said he could take a look the next morning. 4 issues all addressed (well, one wasn’t solved, but strong attempt with a good next step suggested) in one short visit, which was AWESOME. Kurt and his son were super nice and you could tell that they really wanted to get thing right. Much appreciated, and although I don’t hope to have RV issues again, but if I do, hope I’m near Billings!

Needed to have the motor on my Kwikee Steps, (3 steps,-model 25) replaced. I had the motor but found that, unlike the other Kwikee Models, the bolts holding the motor were not received by a machine threaded plate but had nuts that were inaccessible without removing the motor table.. Time to call for help.

Called Kurt and told him my plight and that I would be passing through Billings in three days He said come on by. Dropped off the Motorhome, went and had a great breakfast on Kurt's recommendation at the Hit the Spot Cafe. Returned to a completed job paid for 1 hour labor at a reasonable rate and we were on our way.. He's a little of the main drag but worth the trip. Thanks Kurt

While driving through Montana and camping near Billings, we noticed the the ball on our trailer hitch was loose. Took it to Kurt's and he tightened it there on the spot and wouldn't accept anything for it. You just don't find that kind of service anymore. Thanks Kurt, much appreciated!

Love this place! He has helped us out so much! We are newbies to the RV world and he has shown us a lot. He has made several upgrades and repairs on our 5th wheel. He does a great job and finishes when he says he will. He doesn't break the bank either.

Kurt helped us with our propane issues, he allowed us to bring our RV in the same day I called and diagnosed and replaced the regulator and was very reasonable with the fee he charged, he saved our vacation trip after traveling from Virginia. Good man, excellent business!

Kurt was friendly and extremely helpful assisting us in finding a key that would work for our camper door after the previous owner accidentally gave us the wrong key when we bought it.

On vacation, had a plumbing issue in our travel trailer that left us without any water. Kurt squeezed us in and saved our trip! Awesome guy!

Our Motorhome was at Pierce RV in billings, montana for months doing warranty work and we were charged $323 for things not covered!! . We picked it up and water leaked from the slide and lower storage. We called Pierce and they said we can have you drop it off in 3 weeks and we need time to review and time to order parts without looking at it or rushing us in. Keep in mind our family member just purchased a used RV from them!!! I called all over Montana and only RV tech guy availible was a mobile person that could come out the next day. We needed this fixed because we needed to take a trip in a few days with our Cancer stricken mother to see family. Well we found Kurts repair. I sent him a text on Easter Sunday and got a repsonse to call the next day. Called next day and got an appt. He and his amazing tech person found were the leak was and not only fixed the leak but found many other connections lose.
I highly highly recommend this place for RV work. I have family/friends with Motorhomes and will telll them to go here. I give him 5 stars!!

Kurt was great to work with! Does a great job in a timely manner, and reasonably priced! Runs a business the old-school way and how it should be done.

We’ve been struggling with our water system ever since bretz thought they could work on something and winterize our trailer the fall before. As typical, bretz managed to cause more damage than repair after they left the pump on for a month and didn’t really winterize the rig enough to hold up to a mild winter. We’ve changed broken fittings and the pump but still had problems. Kurt got us right in on the day we called and though it was a bit more trouble than anticipated, he knocked it out and got us going again. Thanks Kurt!

Nice enough guy. I wanted to make sure the heater would work before the holiday weekend. He did great by getting me in on short notice, and he had it fixed right away. Awesome. He said the wiring was backwards on the battery.

Kurt is a super guy, my slideout was damaged from a truck and kurt helped me straight out to get it back in, so I could continue my trip to Alberta.

Needed assistance with defective refrigerator while traveling cross country. Kurt was extremely helpful. Dropped off the 5th wheel, it was winterized on-site, and was repaired within one day of receipt of the cooling unit. We were back on the road. Many Thanks to Kurt and crew!!!

We had a canopy over our slide that got twisted in high winds on the road. We couldn’t open our living room slide. Despite being really busy he fit us in for the repair. Great price and really nice owner and worker. I would take my rv in there for repair any time! Kurt is friendly and knows his stuff! Very professional. Learned about him from google reviews - they weren’t wrong! If you live in Thr Billings area you are lucky to have his business here. If you don’t, it’s worth the drive!

Kurt took care of my bearings last summer and charged a very fair price. I called him recently because I couldn't get my brake lights to work. Instead of me hauling my camper out to his repair shop, he suggested I check the fuse box in my truck. That was all it took. My two dealing with Kurt lead me to believe that I can trust him and that he will be fair. I will take all of my camper needs to him.

Kurt is absolutely fantastic. I had a tire blow on my RV taking a bunch of electrical and body work with it, and Kurt had me up and running within a day. His price was half of what other shops quoted me, and they said I'd have to wait 2 weeks! If you've got an RV emergency, don't bother with anyone else.

I called Kurts RV repair to take a look at a slide in camper I had just bought. I had a problem with the lift system. I took it down with a few days. We took the camper off and he emidatley took a look at it. He didn't know much about the lift system. We found out some information about the camper and made a appoiment within a few days. He took it apart and fixed it emidatley. He was great to work with. His price was more than fair. I am so happy with the experience I had with him. I highly recommend his service and wount be taking my camper anywhere else. Thank you Kurt!!

Passing through Billings and had an issue with our trailer refrigerator. He was able to help us immediately with super amazing service. Would highly recommend Kurt, he was friendly, happy to help and kind to our family.

Brought him new Trailer for high-end inverter installation. Could tell talking to him on phone he was knowledgeable and experienced with these. Brought it down, explained what I wanted. Done quickly and as I requested. Very very friendly guy. Integrity was 5 stars. Prices reasonable. Hoped to find a good mechanic who understood these inverter systems, with integrity, and easy to deal with. This is the place.
Have solar install he integrated into new system.
Work clean and well integrated. Used large wires, correct fuses and short throw distances from batteries to inverter. Disconnected the stock converter as is necessary. Charger built into inverter. Understands large inverter charger with transfer switches and how to integrate them into the old power center. Set it up so more battery space available if wanted later. Well ventilated.
Knew size of wires just by looking at them. Fused every run.
Also put in a new vent in the bathroom.
This is not a fancy retail shop, Kurt runs a repair center and installation center. He's focused on customer service. Wants to install it the way you want. I went to his business not expecting the slick, sales oriented atmosphere and physical plant that goes along with that. I hoped to find instead a good-natured knowledgeable guy, experienced and not afraid to do custom work, without breaking the bank. I'm fairly sure anyone else in town would have charged 3x the price and still not do it expertly. Other big RV centers wouldn't use equipment I'd already bought (hand picked) for the install. Wanted to order it themselves.
For retail buys like power cords and such, go to,the big dealers. Just don't let them take your rig into the shop.

Stand up dude! I had him check out my trailer for possible frame issues, and he not only told me it was safe to tow, he gave me advice on what to do next, caulked the seams, inspected the roof for damage, and looked it over pretty well. Dropped everything he was working on to take care of me. Not only that, all his other customers were leaving with smiles on their faces and happy....to the point of bringing him six packs of beer! If you're in the area, and you need service or repair, check him out.

Kurt helped us out with a new air conditioner for our rv, at the very last minute, on the day before the 4th of July. He worked way past closing time, in 100 degree heat, and saved our vacation! He is a miracle worker!
