We have used Kreider Construction for 2 complete home remodels and we have been extremely impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail and excellence in the performance of all of their work. We had them build closet organizers and solid wood built-in bookcases with both homes and the craftsmanship was amazing! As sometimes happens with construction, (rarely with Kreider) something is not right or the way you visualized it to be. If this happens, Kreider professionals will fix it to your preference and always with the highest standards. We especially liked working with Shane and Lance our construction management team. On another note, after my husband had a stroke, Kreider construction installed grab bars all over our home, free of charge as a gift to us. They believe in family values and community service. I would HIGHLY recommend Kreider Construction for any Construction needs that you may have!

We were very happy with our beautiful master bathroom remodel. Kreider Construction and their team of experts were wonderful to work with. The project was finished on time and within budget, and the results were above and beyond our expectations. We would highly recommend Kreider for any major remodel or new build.

Kreider did an awesome job on my basement renovation after a pipe ruptured and flooded it in May of 2023. After a false start with another company, Kreider came to the rescue and did a first class job. They worked with my insurance company and listened to my needs, and I'm really happy how it all turned out. I highly recommend Kreider Construction.

We had a small remodel we needed done and called Kreider Construction. Didn't know if they would want to deal with such a small job, but to our delight Greg was willing to help us. From the moment we met, we knew he was a man of integrity, honest and very easy to communicate with. His crew with Shane and Lance did a fantastic job. We couldn't be happier with the finished product. They were excellent communicators and let us know who would be at our house on what days. They worked within our budget, and we got a detailed bill with all the reciepts for all the expenses. Very professional. They definitely get five stars from us! Kreider Construction did a full remodel of our home in 2018. It was everything we could have hoped for. Greg's team is professional. They have high standards of quality. They created the home of our dreams. Greg is an ethical and honest contractor who wants the best for those lucky enough to work with him.

Greg and his team finished our Anacortes custom home construction in December of 2023. We interviewed Greg and one other builder in Anacortes and also spoke with several subcontractors before we chose to to work with him. Work started when he said it would and progressed at an appropriate pace. The quality was outstanding. Greg along with Shane, Lance, Brent, Lindsey, Michaela and the rest of his crew were friendly and professional. Along the way they made excellent suggestions about options and improvements. They have been attentive to doing the last pick up items and fixing any issues which have been few and minor The cost estimates were as accurate as was possible. The subcontractors were all good with shout outs to Brian Asuncion the electrician and Jesse Broersma the tiler. If you are going to build in the Anacortes area Greg should be at the top of your list for a general contractor.

We recently completed our new home in Skyline in Anacortes. The Kreider team did a fabulous job throughout the build and we couldn't be more pleased in the final outcome. While this is only our 2nd experience in building a new home, working with Greg and his team was great. While we can't speak to pricing, we can say they were very flexible and reasonable on changes that were made during construction which made our final home even better. They accommodated our input as well as offered suggestions through their own observations that improved our new home. There are always challenges and stressful events during such a project, but they were always there to listen and to offer suggestions and recommendations to stay on budget. Would not hesitate to recommend them for future projects or new construction.

What can I say about the team that built my dream house!? Kreider Construction is simply the best! In all fairness, I did not interview other builders. My architect, Mark Stoner of Stoner Architects LLC in Seattle, designed an awesome house, and a friend of his saw a Kreider home under construction and thought we should interview them. So we did. After one meeting, I repeat one meeting, I told my architect that I was so comfortable with the professionalism, integrity, and sincerity I felt from Greg Kreider, that I wanted him to build my home. There was no need to interview others.

He was just the start! My Project Manager and Supervisor were also top notch. The communication, responsiveness and creativity was the best. Because "I didn't know what I didn't know," they had the answers and or suggestions before I even asked the questions - and I asked a lot, more than once!

I could not have asked for a better crew or a better experience. I might add, my property was a bit of a challenge, very steep, and full of debris. I felt they always had my best interest in mind and even if they were sweating about details, they made me feel very confident I had the right team on the job.

I would absolutely hire Greg and his crew again!

Kreider Construction built our new house in 2018/2019. It is a 4900’ Architect designed waterfront home on South Fidalgo Island. We didn’t provide the Architect any budget guidelines, as we wanted to see what was possible to maximize our property. Mike Underwood and Associates designed an incredible Frank Lloyd Wright style mid-century modern masterpiece, complete with a domed central bridge section of the house, over a creek flowing down towards the beach below. When Greg Kreider (who did know our budget) saw the design, he was initially alarmed at how it would be possible to build such a house within our budget. We worked together, increased the budget some, but the true heavy lifting came from Greg Kreider and his team. They are not just a construction company, but a team of artists and craftsmen that are all at the top of their professions. Each and every person that worked on our house was dedicated to bringing the Underwood design to it’s full realization. The skill and expertise of the Kreider team was amazing to watch in person. The attention to detail and uncompromising quality requirements were something we had never seen before, and after living in this house for four years, we’ve come to understand and appreciate their quality-first approach. Our house has won many awards from the local builders association, as well as media attention from Seattle and Bellingham.

After interviewing several builders for our custom home project, we chose Greg and his team at Kreider Construction. Building a home comes with challenges and literally thousands of decisions. When the actual construction began, we were excited but also felt a bit vulnerable. This was, without a doubt, one of the biggest investments we have ever made and wanted to get it right and with the quality we expected. The entire team at Kreider Construction, especially our project manager and supervisor, were truly a blessing for us. They were with us each step of the way, serving as skilled craftsmen, consultants, advocates and problem-solvers. Throughout our project, we greatly appreciated their integrity, creativity, responsiveness and open communications. We chose Kreider for our new home build on the recommendation of our architect, Richard Broderick of North Sound Architecture. The single most outstanding feature of Kreider's operation is their organization and project management. As we were building on a cost plus basis, careful and complete records are critical for both parties. We could count on receiving weekly project updates and photos every Friday afternoon from Shane Maroney, our Project Manager, and timely and complete monthly invoices from Lindsay Rude in the office.

These alone are no small accomplishments, but they mean little if the work product isn't also first class. It was. From the foundation, to the framing, and the finish work, every step was executed as professionally as I could have hoped. The Kreider crew is exceptionally skilled, thoughtful, and collaborative. The masons, tile, plumbing, countertop, and HVAC subcontractors were all equally top-notch.

As a custom build, I told the entire crew at the outset if they saw something, anything, that wasn't right, or should be done differently than the plan, they were to tell Shane, and we would discuss it in our weekly on-site meeting with the architect. Or if it was urgent, by phone, same day. And there were. some saved time and money, some cost money to do right, but the important thing is that they were caught when fixing them was easy, not after the house was complete, when fixing them could be very costly. A successful house build is like football, a game of inches. Changing a door swing, moving a window or a wall a few inches can make a lot of difference in the functionality of a space, and as a client, your satisfaction. Kreider pays attention to those details, and it shows in the final product.

We have been in our house now for 10 months. The few punchlist items, and there will always be some, were handled quickly and professionally. The few outstanding items (Covid supply-chain related, not on Kreider) are still being tracked and they will be resolved when they can.

Even though building in 2020 cost us six weeks in downtime, we are over very pleased with the rate of progress. In many regards this was a very challenging time to build, and I'm sure a lot of General contractors did not manage through the challenges as skillfully as Kreider. We would recommend them wholeheartedly and without reservation.

The best thing we ever did was hire Kreider Construction for the building of our new home in Anacortes. Every member of Greg Kreider's staff was professional, friendly, accommodating and exacting. We had multiple neighbors comment on the incredible workmanship and quality of the build while it was going up and from that, made new friends! Kreider's whole group (especially Shane) and the sub-contractors were on time, worked together seamlessly like family and as such made our lives much easier. They even caught mistakes from our architectural firm and corrected them! Weekly updates with photographs, phone calls and detailed cost projections were all included leaving nothing undone. Since we built from out of state, we really hit the jackpot finding Kreider Construction and would recommend them whole heartedly for anyone wanting an incredible builder.

Greg Kreider and his team recently completed our new home. We are extremely happy with the finished product. Building while living out of state was a bit nerve-wracking, but Greg, Shane and Lindsey never failed to answer any question promptly, knowledgably and with kindness. We appreciate their dedication to their craft and genuine care and concern for their clients. We have happily recommended Kreider Construction to others and will continue to do so. They have processes in place to insure frequent communication and there were never any surprises. This is a huge accomplishment on a 2+ year project. In a word “Integrity”. Through and through, top to bottom, from Greg to his construction leadership, to his crews, subcontractors and the office staff, Kreider construction is 100% first rate. I could go on and on, but I won’t, about our positive experience in moving to Anacortes, meeting Greg and agreeing to have his company remodel our 1931 bungalow. My husband and I first called Kreider Construction when we were considering a remodel of our home near Anacortes in 2013. Between 2013 and 2017, when we finally began construction of a new home, Greg Kreider spent countless hours with us, providing us with resources (including helping us find someone to re-do our septic system and design our new house), reviewing several possible designs and pricing them out. He never charged us a dime for his time, and his advice and counsel were invaluable to us.

Prior to entering a contract with Kreider Construction, we sought bids from other local construction companies and found Kreider’s pricing to be competitive with other local builders. When we finally started the project, we found the Kreider team to be informed, informative, timely and transparent. When we showed the Kreider Construction weekly reports - which record what was accomplished, what was coming up, and where we were with the budget - to some of our friends who built homes with other builders, they said, “gee, we wish we’d gotten something like that from our builder.” Moreover, the quality of the construction is superb - Kreider’s construction personnel are excellent, and their subcontractors also perform to meet Kreider’s standard of excellence.The project was completed on time and within budget.

In the year since we moved into our home, Kreider Construction staff has been swift and responsive to our calls for the minor adjustments that are always necessary following the completion of a construction project. We could not be happier with our house, or with the level and quality of service we have had from this company.
