I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Kowalske Kitchen & Bath. From my designer Teri’s design & help with choices of tile & all the finishing, to Cory’s excellent tile work, to Andy. the painter (who patiently repainted the bathroom after the 1st color I picked was “too blue” when I saw it on the wall), to all the people behind the scenes whose names I don’t know, & especially to Aaron my project manager for keeping everything on track (not to mention reassuring me it was easily remedied when I sent my anxious text about “I can’t live with the blue—it’s just TOO blue!”). The Builder Trend site was helpful in keeping me aware of what was going on & I especially found the Dialapad texting

Kowalske did our bathroom this summer. When I say they over exceeded my expectations, I do not say that lightly. Our new bathroom is everything we ever dreamed of. It is wheelchair accessible for our kiddo. It is so beautiful and elegant. The workers were so pleasant and nice. They were always very mindful when we were at home. Aaron and Jola were amazing to work with as well. Aaron was always and continues to be just one message away. 100% recommended!!!

We have had Kowalske remodel our kitchen and master bath. Most recently they completed our master bath. We were reallty happy with the results and would recommend them. Brian's project management was really fantastic! Kim did a great job making sure we were happy with the design. During the project, we received timely and detailed updates on next steps. Upon completion, they did very thorogh walk-throughs to ensure any final details were addressed.

I just wanted to let you know how impressed I was with Kim's skills, talent, customer service skills and going above the call of duty for me, her customer. Kim was my designer who helped me convert my AWFUL 1950’s Bayview bathroom into a showcase.

I also couldn’t have asked for a better project manager - Aaron. He always informed me who was coming each day and week. His carpentry skills were/are great. When needed, he thought of other ways to get the job done.

Your entire team and subcontractors deserve a pat on the back (and more) because my bathroom is now worthy to be displayed on your website or in a magazine. I am glad I can continue working with Kim refurbishing/designing my 1950’s AWFUL kitchen. I am telling everyone about Kowalske and how wonderful the service, staff and subcontractors have been.

Kowalske was great to work with every step of the process in our basement finishing project. Christina was so great in designing everything and helping us make decisions. Eric was wonderful during the build process and made sure we always knew what was going on. We want to thank Stacy for all the time, thought and effort she put into the design; we are very pleased with the results. Each of the employees and subcontractors were very good. Corey and his demo crew had a challenging task removing all the cemented tile and lugging the new cast iron tub upstairs, but they handled things very well. Corey, who did the tile work, spent a lot of time and effort to get things right and he did a really excellent professional job. Although we do not want to neglect those who handled the plumbing, painting/staining, and electrical work, all of whom also did very good work, we particularly want to give a "shout out" to the project manager Brian, who handled everything on site. He has a great attitude, but as importantly really knows his stuff. He is a very hard worker, attentive to every detail, and great representative for Kowalske.

Kowalske Kitchen & Bath remodeled both our kitchen island and our Master Bathroom, and the entire experience from start to finish was top notch. Kim worked with us in the showroom to create images of our desired outcome and then brought samples together to share with us so we could truly handpick the most unique options to make our vision come true. The owner of Kowalske Kitchen blocks our entrance way and went to pick up food. I went out to tell him not to block the entrance next time he picks up food and he said “I don’t care! So I told him I’m going to call his boss and he told me “ if you do you’ll be talking to me. So it doesn’t matter.” Kind off mocking me and acting entitled. At that point I knew he was the owner of the company so I wrote this review and posted the pictures. The owner is entitled and disrespectful thinks he can park anywhere. He should know better as a business owner but act entitled.

Cannot say enough positive things about Kowalske Kitchen and Bath. They are everything you would want for your remodel/renovation: kind, meticulous, timely, communicative, professional, I could just go on and on. The Builders Trend app tells you what work they have completed, images, what the next steps are, it’s amazing. Renovations are stressful but having Kowalske work on ours was such a relief because I knew the quality and the care was there.

We went into the project as seasoned homeowners who have done a lot of remodeling over the years and this was by far the best experience we have ever had. All the delays were not their fault and were minor. They cleaned up after themselves daily, were respectful of our home and noise as we both work remotely.
I would not hesitate to use them again; I can't convey with enough enthusiasm how much respect we have for their employees, their use of technology and systematic approach to a complex project.

Kowalske gave me the kitchen of my dreams! Monica came up with a design that absolutely could not be beat. They started and finished on time. Monica was checking in on site or via email daily, even on her days off, to be sure that no detail was missed. I did not lose one nights sleep about this project and we have done many! We bought a condo that had "good bones" but the kitchen/bathroom layout/design was stuck in the 80's. We knew we needed help & met with Kowalske to see what they could offer. We were blown away by the preliminary designs that Christina came up with & decided to contract with Kowalske. We weren't disappointed one bit. Our project was due to start one week after the COVID restrictions started which concerned us. Byron & his team kept the project on track with excellent work. We just remodeled our small Tosa kitchen. We love our home but the outdated kitchen space just wasn't working for us anymore. We needed more counter space, a more efficient layout, and desperately wanted a dishwasher. We reached out to Kowalske after getting a recommendation from a friend. The end result is AMAZING! We can't believe this is our kitchen and we actually get to cook here - and we LOVE to cook together. We enjoyed the expert advice from our designer on how to lay out the kitchen and make the best use of the space, while still keeping with the original character of the house. From the workstation sink to the space-saving dishwasher drawer, the resulting space is as functional as it is beautiful. Now we enjoy being in the kitchen even when we aren't cooking! As part of the process, we got to help make some of the backsplash for our kitchen at a local pottery studio. Construction happened during the COVID-19 crisis and despite the challenges the team kept the project on schedule while taking the appropriate safety precautions. Its been about a year since Kowalske finished our kitchen and bathroom remodels. I can't say enough good things about the whole experience! Our kitchen space really need to be "reinvented" and we had started working with "the other guys" but they really struggled to give us ideas that we liked. I am not an interior designer so I really wanted to lean on someone that really knew how to fix our space for years to come! To add onto that problem we also needed a contractor that was willing to work with our house that is a timber frame from 1851! "level" and "90 degrees" are just not possible! I also wanted to be sure only sustainable materials that would protect the beams from trapped moisture and rot. "The other guys" insisted on using cheap products and foam! I am so glad that I found Christina at Kowalske. Not only was she was able to turn our kitchen into a master piece of cooking and durability but they used all my specified materials and were able to expose our wood beam ceiling in our budget! They were even able to "level" the floor so that the drastic dips are not noticeable! She helped us pick out all the materials and we loved all of her suggestions. It took so much stress out of the project to trust her instincts! I still love every detail and it has stood up to a now 2 year old and 7 month old!

We could not be happier with our newly remodeled kitchen, basically an entire first floor remodel. We decided to call Kowalske after viewing their website, photo gallery and online reviews. Our initial meeting with Monica ("my designer") and Kim was a great first impression. Monica listened to us and immediately started measuring and got her wheels turning. She provided a design that wasn't cookie cutter, though we did make some alterations to her design based on our preferences. She listened again and came up with another fabulous design, which we approved. On demo day, Byron, the project manager, listened to our last-minute changes. We were truly pleased with how Byron was always responsive; flexible and accommodating to any change requests; and for putting up with our particular ways! From demo (June 1) to completion (Aug 14), Kowalske provided absolute professionals (polite, too) to work in our home: Eric (the carpenter), who does skillful work, Martin, Jerry and Andy (the painters), Nate (the electrician), plus a few other electricians, the plumbers, the floor guys, Jennifer (the cleaning lady), Malissa (the photographer) and many others. The delivery of countertops was delayed a week due to COVID, but Kowalske did whatever other tasks they could during that delay and otherwise adhered to their schedule. We were so fortunate to be hooked up with Monica! She truly understood how we wanted to utilize our new space. She happily accommodated my many last-minute changes, put up with my indecisiveness, offered her expert advice when sought, and was ALWAYS responsive. She has excellent taste and a keen sense of style. She says she loves designing kitchens, and it shows. Our overall experience was a VERY positive one. Kowalske truly provides quality. We would not hesitate to hire them again or to recommend them. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Kowalske Kitchen & Bath, for our beautiful new space! We absolutely love it!

We are so pleased with our remodel done by Kowalske. Our neighbors recommended them to us, after they beautifully remodeled their bathroom. We completely gutted two bathrooms, created a bar/ hutch in our dining room, and made some minor updates in other areas of our home. It was a big project overall. Byron was amazing to work with. We worked with Monica on updating the bathrooms in our 1948 Colonial home. Her design fit our aesthetic perfectly, and we were extremely happy with the modern updates that were made. All of the tradespeople and contractors did great work and the job finished on time. We will be working with them again to remodel our kitchen.

We had planned on finishing our basement and explored several options, but the project seemed overly complex and was put on hold. Once we contacted Kowalske, the turn key process simplified everything. Their professionals walked us though the entire process from the initial layout and design to final finish. The online project schedule assured clear communication, on time completion and every single person who came onsite was polite, clean and professional. We highly recommend contacting Kowalske if you are considering any home remodel or build out. Absolutely amazing results!

Worked with a designer who came to the house. Stated that she would have a design back to us in 7-10 days. After 4 weeks of waiting we went to the showroom, only to watch her put together a design on the computer. The design plan that she proposed didn’t have a single request that we wanted. We were still patient with her and waited for the final plan once we picked out materials. So, 7 weeks later, she gave us a quote double what we told her we wanted to spend and still didn’t have a design proposal for us to view. When we asked for a itemized quote she told us that she wasn’t able to print it out.

I understand that these jobs can be costly, and we planned on going over our budget slightly, but to come back more than double with no ‘plan’ is a bit dissatisfying. Also, you’d think as a designer, that you would mention other options as ways to keep the cost within close range of the budget. I wished that they would have just told us that this isn’t a job they were interested instead of wasting our time.

I can't express enough of my gratitude for the work that Kowalske did, and the way they made this the best customer experience as possible. They were attentive to our needs from start to finish. Byron is an excellent project manager - communication was excellent the entire time and the project stayed on time. Everyone we interacted with was polite and professional. We did a full bathroom remodel and I am so in love with the result. They have us great guidance and recommendations along the way. Kowalske is the team to hire!

Need to update review. As you can see we were very happy with the original project. What I have found out since is that once the project is done and paid for so is Kowalske. I have been trying to find a part for the sink they installed. Having no luck I went to Kowalske for help. My wife contacted them once and I contacted them twice. Same answer each time. Some on would contact us. Never happened! They have taken what was a good experience and turned it bad.

WHAT A JOB!

We went from a small mid 60’s kitchen to a beautiful open concept with plenty of room and lighting. Two walls were taken out and a new header had to be engineered for the expanse. Hydronic heat had to be relocated. New floors in kitchen, living room and hallways. We still lived there while all this went on. Kowalske made all this possible.

As for the living conditions, it was not fun. Kowalske made it possible though. They screened off the living areas with plastic curtains to keep the construction dust out as much as possible. The other big thing was they cleaned up the area after each days work. At the end of the project Kowalske sent in a person to clean the house.

The people Kowalske had working on our house were skilled, friendly and helpful. When some thing didn’t look right they would say something and offer a suggestion rather than just pushing through it. Lots of hand holding since this was our first major remodel.

Were there problems? Yes, I don’t think any project like this is without problems. Short a cabinet in delivery. Wrong color trim. Through it all Kowalske worked with us and their vendors to make everything right.

I should mention the pre-remodel people. Very helpful in educating us and helping to pick out materials.

Did we like the final product? Yes we do, it is everything we wanted. We wouldn’t think twice about going to Kowalske for another project. Oh, cost. I think they charged a fair price for the work they did.

Kowalske Kitchen and Bath was an exceptional company to work with. They were extremely responsive to all questions and concerns we had along the way and the finished project exceeded our expectations. We LOVE our new bathroom. We would and will recommend this company to anyone looking for a bathroom remodel.

Our kitchen turned out great. Alex had some great ideas in the design phase. Byron, our Project Manager, was always available once the work got started and made sure everything went smoothly.

We had an incredible experience with Kowalske Kitchen & Bath. We originally purchased a home in Delafield in the summer knowing that the house could use a lot of love. After originally reaching out to Matt and meeting Christina and Cindy we had plans to renovate every room on the main floor and second floor. By the fall they were knocking down walls and we moved in at the end of the year. It's hard to describe the scope of the project because they really did touch every room in the house. Their design choices were thoughtful, the work they did was professional, and working with them was a great. People talk about how stressful a home renovation is and I could see how a project of our scope could cause us to lose some hair but the crew never let that happen. We love our house, every day we come home it feels like we're on vacation or living in a dream house. The transformation from what it was to what it is makes it seem like they built an entirely new house from the ground up. If you are thinking about doing any sort of home renovation project you really need to talk to Kowalske. We did our due diligence on the front end and looked at plenty of options and wound up with the best one available. We have so many great stories from the renovation but one that sticks out, that was relatively minor in the scope of everything, that speaks to the type of company Kowalske is goes like this: we moved in December 22nd, planned on showing our families the house on the 24th, and the one snag was our appliance crew didn't install the fridge or the washer/dryer. Small problem, but something that kind of stuck out as incomplete. The appliance company blew their deadline and was going to leave us in a lurch, so we called Matt who personally got on the phone with them and after not getting anywhere personally came out to our house on December 23rd and with our PM moved the fridge into our house, hooked up the water line and installed the washer and dryer. You just don't find companies like this out there - they are incredible.

We had a great experience working with Kowalske. They were very responsive from the initial consultation through the end of the project. Our project manager was always available to answer questions and met us at our house on short notice to discuss flooring options. We love our bathroom and will use them for future projects!

We had our kitchen remodeled and Kowalske met or exceeded our expectations on all fronts. Our designer Sarah worked within our budget and offered lots of good ideas and options. She was so patient and went the e tea mile to guarantee that we were happy with every aspect of the plan. Our project manager Byron was knowledgeable and kept us very well informed throughout the process. He used an online calendar so we knew what to expect every day of the project. Everyone who came into our home was polite and professional. The electrician, carpenters, flooring contractor and tile installer were all excellent! We love our new kitchen and would not hesitate to recommend Kowalske or work with them again!

From the very beginning they took care of every detail. The quote was descriptive and competitive. The designer, Sarah listened and delivered a great concept. Byran construction schedule was on time and the final punch list was dealt with and completed quickly. Everything I asked they did. I had the best experience and the kitchen remodel has transformed my entire house.

My experience was excellent. They have an extremely knowledgeable sales staff and their designers are incredibly knowledgeable and willing to help. Everybody pitches in and lends a hand it was a very wonderful experience

Our thanks to Casey and the Kowalske Team for transforming our dated condo bath, kitchen and laundry space into a sleek contemporary livable spaces! The design and remodeling was expertly done and exceeded all expectations.

We are so pleased with Kowalske! From our initial meeting with Casey to our work with Byron - everyone was professional, exceptionally nice, and so talented. They remodeled our master bath and we couldn't be more satisfied with the outcome. Everyone that came into our house was so nice and respectful. The house was meticulously clean at the end of every work day. They were even nice to our dog! We highly recommend Kowalske and will be using them for future home projects!

My experience with Kowalske was nothing but fantastic. From the quote to the design phase through construction and project completion, everything was first class. They had respect for your home during construction. The project was smooth and they kept you well informed as what was going to be done each day. They even sent a cleanup crew at the end of the project.

Would hire again in a heartbeat. To steal a line from Doc Hollywood "You would be "a bovine, clodplated, citified moron" if I you didn't hire them on the spot. lol!

We couldn't be more pleased with our kitchen and powder room remodel. Kowalske uses quality materials and their craftsmen are personable, professional, and perfectionists.

Kowalske exceeded even our wildest expectations. They were professional, fair, kind and wildly talented. Everyone who walked into our house was a welcome presence. Nothing like we had expected. We had assumed that everyone who entered would be simply concerned about their work and nothing else. Yet, that was hardly the case. From top to bottom it was a phenomenal experience.
We looked at a number of remodelers for our master bath project and were more than happy to find that the most expensive option is certainly not the best. We couldn't recommend them enough. In fact, we have every intention of using them again. No question.

I highly recommend Kowalske Kitchen & Bath to anyone who is looking to remodel their home. We used the Kowalske team for the remodel of our newly purchased home and couldn't be happier. The entire team was a pleasure to work with - everyone was professional and took the time to answer all of our questions. Also, they provided suggestions regarding styles and products all within our budget. We couldn't be happier with the results and cannot wait to use them again on future projects. They are the best and I cannot imagine using anyone else!

Kowalske Kitchen and Bath completed a full remodel of our kitchen, dining room, and mudroom. We're very happy with the final product and Kowalske's team was helpful, responsive, and did quality work.
