We’ve used Empire Painting multiple times in our homes over the years. Always an enjoyable experience with fair and honest pricing. Very professional.

Empire painted our whole house interior and was great to work with from beginning to end. The process was smooth through the estimate, scheduling with the office, and meeting with the color consultant, which was very helpful. During the job, the guys were consistently prompt, professional and friendly, and (most importantly!) did great work painting. Juan did a great job communicating the progress and coordinating to work around our needs. There were a couple small touchup requests, which were always addressed immediately and looked great. Hands down would work with the Empire team again.

Excellent team doing very good work. Dan Brooks took a personal interest, Matt Hoskins kept us on track, and Laci organized everything. Carlos and his crew worked 3 days to clean and stain and repair the cedar siding on our large rural house, and earlier paint and stain had weathered badly. The Carlos crew did very careful and nice work. Our thanks to the entire team.

I chose Empire over a couple of other well known painting companies. They were price competitive and did an outstanding quality job. The salesman Matt was very knowledgeable and courteous. The project manager Carlos kept me informed along the way and had great attention to detail. His crew was efficient, did a high quality job and cleaned up the site as if they were never here. The owner, Dan, even took time out of his busy day to do a final walk through with me. I’ve even hired them to do an upcoming interior project. I would highly recommend Empire.

While they do great work, occasionally paint may dry funny or tape peels wrong and on those occasions they really shine, coming back out promptly and professionally to touch up any concerns that go above and beyond our expectations.

I had been putting off painting my living room, kitchen, entry room for months. It was going to be tedious and time consuming for me. My wife and I finally decided to have some professionals come in and paint for us. Empire was seriously the best. They were professional, on time, helpful, fairly priced and the quality of work was TOP TIER. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to have painting done.

Bids are explicitly written out. If for some reason a crew may not make it (which is rare) you are given notification. No monies are paid until the work is complete. When you have concerns or questions about the project, Empire will stand behind their work and address them. Jeff was especially responsive to addressing all our concerns and completing the job very professionally. They refurbished our wood kitchen cabinets and painted our kitchen and hall way. It looks great and we're pleased.

Empire Painting did a fantastic job. The painters removed wallpaper and repaired the walls so they look brand new. They worked carefully and cleaned up every day. I’m so impressed with their work and would recommend them highly.

We hired empire painting to paint our new home and remove the wall paper in our master bedroom. They did a fantastic job. Our kitchen turned out so great and we were so impressed with the wallpaper removal, patch work and the texture spraying job that went with it. I thought they would only spray the part they had to patch but they did the whole room. My husband and I were so impressed by that, it’s looks complete and clean - doing that alone would make me hire them again. Everyone we worked with was professional, on time and respectful. From the guy quoting it to the men completing it. The guys showed up every day early, never stopped working unless it was for their quick lunch and were so kind if I had a question or saw a spot that needed another coat. 10/10 recommend this team.

We hired Empire Painting for the first time painting our house. The sales team was amazing, and they provided a color coordinator to help us pick colors that would look good together. The project was about a week's worth of work and the team was even willing to work in the cold to finish the project. We are very happy with Empire Painting and the job they did for us. The cabinet painting we had done was a more complicated job than average; especially the prep work. Everyone one from Empire did a great job a communicating. They really exceeded other contractors in this respect. We were able to review and discuss each stage of the job and ask questions. Empire didn't hesitate to add an additional coat to certain areas of the job so that the finish came out perfect. No extra charge for that either! We'd use Empire again for future projects.

I’ve had numerous companies paint portions of the exterior of my homes throughout the years. This company’s finished product is the best by far.

We are pleased with the communication and service that we received during our house project. The crew was very nice and easy to work with. When we asked for a couple touch-ups they handled them promptly. The project manager stopped by a couple times to make sure everything was going as planned, that we were happy with the way things looked, and if we had any areas we wanted fixed. Everyone was friendly and efficient!

We were very pleased with the work done by Empire Painting. We had 30 plus year old kitchen cabinets painted and they look fabulous now. Luis, who painted the cabinet "boxes" in our home, was pleasant, hard working and meticulous. Laci, in the office, was very helpful and patient and easy to deal with. Jeff who hung the cabinet fronts after they had been painted, was helpful and willing to attend to some extra details when asked. Great experience with this company!

Our 2nd painting experience with Empire couldn't have been better. Empire Painting gave our kitchen a NEW LIFE with its wonderfully executed cabinet paint job.

The crew was great. We needed to update the paint in our entry way, upstairs hallway, and dining room. We had two painters on one day, then one returned to finish the job the following day. They were clean, prompt, and kept us informed on their progress throughout. We’d definitely use Empire again!

Everything about working with Empire was great, from the fast response on an estimate, to quick scheduling of the work, to the final service and follow up. Jeremy installed peel-and-stick wallpaper on a long way in my dining room and it looks superb - so well done. Can't see the seams at all. This is a great business! From getting an estimate to carrying out the work, they're very professional and did a great job. We're completely satisfied.

Be prepared, this is a long post because there were THAT MANY issues. The short version of it is we’re incredibly disappointed and this was an absolutely horrible experience.

The guy who came out to do the quote was lovely— professional, knowledgeable, helpful but not pushy. We were so excited to have empire come out. When it came down to it, it was one of the worst home improvement experiences we’ve ever had. The first day, they were over 3 hours late and when they did come they just sat in their cars for a very long time. They were over a hour late every single day, usually over 2 hours late. When they did work, no one who was regularly there spoke English. This was only an issue because they had no idea what was going on and we’re unable to communicate with us to ask questions.

They did not clean up any messes, daily or at the end of the job. Sanding debris was left all over and never cleaned up, plus I found paint on the carpet. After the job was over I had to go around and clean up their mess. When they did do any tidying they used our cleaning supplies and vacuum!

The quality of the work was also poor. They got paint all over the woodwork, there were many areas that they missed painting, and things they painted over (outlets) or didn’t move to paint (painted around a tension shower rod leaving perfect circles of unpainted wall when the rod was moved). There were huge paint drips, over the size of a quarter, as well as smaller ones that were all over counters, toilets, the floor, etc.

There were also many physical flaws needing repairs that were not done well. There were many nail holes that weren’t filled. They did a few repairs and they looked horrible. There were some repairs (small and large) on the walls and it was incredible obvious. Where they removed wall paper I had to ask them to repaint the entire wall because of how it looked. When there was an issue, even a large one, they were never addressed unless I pointed them out.

There were numerous areas that had so little paint you could see through to the old colors. There were large cracks in panel walls that we asked to have filled in and we were told it wasn’t possible without it looking bad. I told them exactly how it could be done and they still insisted it wasn’t possible. I just finished doing to work myself and it is undetectable.

I had to go around my house marking areas with blue painted tape because when I brought up issues they were not fixed or only partially addressed. I have had to go back and repaint or replaster areas myself. I am still finding areas that need to be cleaned up. I have light switch plates and outlet plates they are falling off because they were stuck on without being screwed in.

At the end of the experience, they took multiple days longer on the job than quoted and had to work a weekend to try and catch up, which they did not. The weekend they worked was the worst. The quality, clean up, and mess was inexcusable and the supervisor apologized profusely and stated that everyone was just trying to get out because they weren’t supposed to work the weekend. He had to come back and fix things himself when we called and complained. Then when the job was over their supplies were left in our dining room for 4 days until someone finally came to pick them up.

Overall, we were incredible disappointed. We paid thousands and thousands of dollars to have this work done and we ended up doing a lot of it or fixing a lot of it ourselves, not to mention all of the cleaning. I could have done better work myself and when I brought up concerns they were dismissed or only partially addressed, at best. Needless to say, we will not be using empire again and certainly will not be recommending them to anyone.

Empire Painting is amazing! From the quote to the start of the project to the end of the job … the communication was excellent. The workers came to the job site on time and ready to work. The team answered my questions. The quality of the work is fantastic. I would highly recommend them for your painting projects.

My kitchen cabinets were showing signs of wear around the door pulls. Empire refinished the doors and applied a laquer finish to resist future wear. They did a superb job. Their workers (Ramound? in particular)was extremely conscientious and a perfectionists. My cabinets look better than new. I highly recommend them.
