We had water damage in our Kitchen and they came out and did the dry out the day after we got our quote. Unfortunately this all happened just a few weeks after the Coronavirus hit the US. We had the whole kitchen remodeled and new flooring for the entire upstairs. It took them one week for demolition and install. Very professional and all around nice guys. Reasonably priced and they go above and beyond.

K&M is wonderful! We had water in our basement from a leaking washing machine and in about an hour of our call, which was late on a Saturday afternoon, Tony and his crew were out to take care of it. The entire staff were very helpful, informative and professional, and did an excellent job for us. I would highly recommend them!

Beware.. Be a smarter customer than I was. Read all of their reviews. This company does not have professional carpenters. They used a helper and a college student to try and repair my home. Neither of the guys had any real experience. Please dont get in a mess like we were. The guys they sent could not even cut a straight line. When we informed the owner of K&M, he simply said. He would be mad too. Then wanted to charge our insurance for professional workmanship. Thank god that did not happen. Farmers insurance saw thru this.

I talked to Kory about roofing my mother in laws house. He came out, checked out the job, handled all the paperwork. He and K & M did a great job taking care of her!!

They put on a roof for us. It was done in good time. They cleaned up very good. My family and me were very pleased with them.

I contacted this company to come and look at my roof after a windstorm we had locally in early March 2019. Additionally we also wanted to see about having this company demo our bathroom and install fixtures we were going to pick out. I worked with Ivan who came out and looked at our roof and took some measurements of our bathroom. He seemed like a very straightforward guy and he took the time to answer my questions about some of the materials we could use in the bathroom. He was there on my property for 30 - 45 minutes and made a large amount of notes on his paperwork and then handed me a card. The last thing he said was that he would get an estimate together and call me back within a few days. This never happened..

I originally contacted them on 4/1/19 and asked for them to come out and do the estimate. This occurred on 4/7/19 when Ivan came out and originally said he would get back in touch with me. I attempted contact on 4/8 4/11 and 4/12. I never had any of my phone calls returned. If a company would rather not do business with me to perform some home repairs the least they could do would be to tell me or send me a letter explaining why the job can't be completed or something... My local state farm agent originally referred me to them and I have ensured that they know how poorly I was treated. Honestly this was a poor customer experience all around and I won't be able to recommend them to anyone at all. I have since had to try and find other roofers to take care of my damaged roof. Thanks for wasting my time...

I have had them do several projects at my house. They did a fantastic job on my roof. They were fast, courteous, clean and quick. I also had a door damaged that they replaced within a few hours after calling. I would recommend them for any project you have.

This company was recommended to me by Allstate. I wanted to wait for the insurance company to show up and let me know what they would or wouldn’t pay for. But Allstate was behind and my insurance salesperson sent these guys over. The owner of the company Mr.kock came in and surveyed the damage and within 2 minutes quoted me 4K, his exact words were. “This will not be more than four thousand dolllars most likely it will be less guaranteed” I specifically asked what does that get me. He said “ we will take all the carpet and baseboards out and put everything else on styrofoam while the basement dries and then put it back.” So I agreed and we shook hands. They showed up the next day to start work, the crew started and within 45 minutes the new supervisor asked me what I was quoted. I found it hard to believe that he didn’t know, but I told him. He then stated that the quote was too low and would be more. I said really how much more. He said at least 6k. I didn’t say anything I just walked off as far as I was concerned we had a deal. I was still dealing with the insurance company on the roof. So they came in and tore the carpet out of the basement and put the furniture and stuff up on styrofoam in the living area bathroom and two bedrooms. The storage part of the basement which is where the most water was, they done nothing! My wife, son and 2 friends that I paid to help, worked almost non stop for three days to do what they didn’t. We had already bought a pump and pumped the water out. We used the shop vac and steam cleaner to get the last puddles out, it was maybe damp at best when the team showed up to start. Mr Kock stated it would take ten days to dry my basement. It was done in 2 days but they didn’t want to get the equipment on Sunday so they sent the worker to pick it up Monday morning. Then I got an email with a bill attached for almost 6k. So I emailed and stated we had a deal at 4K and I thought the company should honor their agreement. I later got a call from Mr Kock who agreed that he told me 4K but stated he made a mistake and he had to go with what the insurance company says. He also stated that he never agreed to put it back only tear it out. Which was a lie my wife and son also heard the conversation and we are sure without a doubt what was said. My son and I also helped them bring in their equipment and set it up. We used our 4 wheeler and trailer and Drove it through the yard so they wouldn’t have to go up and down stairs. All total 3 people spent a total of 6 hours at my house. They only worked half the time. They only done half of the first half of the job and then went up on the price by 50%. I told mr Koch he wasn’t a man of his word and that he should honor the price he quoted Especially since they hadn’t done hardly any of the work. He was angry and stated it didn’t matter because I wasn’t paying for it the insurance company is. I stated I wasn’t sure who was paying. So he said “well I’ll make you a deal if you pay out of pocket then I’ll do it for 4K but if the insurance company pays then I get 6k.” I said it shouldn’t matter who is paying you should honor your agreement. He then stated “ your just trying to steal from the insurance company and that’s fraud so I will report you.” Unfortunately for Mr Kock I had already informed the all state adjuster about how he was frauding the insurance company. Mr Kock gave me his word to get a job that he knew the insurance was going to pay and he knew he would get 6k in the end. However my insurance company has deemed the chimney being pushed over by the wind and water running through a sizeable hole in the roof to the basement was a routine maintenance failure. So they aren’t paying for the roof just the basement. So now I have to fix my roof and my basement with less than half the money the insurance company gave me to do the basement. So Mr Kock who’s actually paying for the damage me or the insurance company? I am a 20 year retired 100% disabled combat vet, and you screwed me without the blink of an eye. Karma happens! Blue Falcon!! Vets beware!

After one hard day in my famiy’s Life I got back from a 14hr drive to a flooded basement. K and M came to the rescue the next day. They dried out our basement in a few days and even restore it better than ever. Great company to do business with!

I had a great experience with K & M, during a less than ideal time due to a leaky skylight. They quickly fixed the issue on my roof, removed the damaged drywall and insulation, dried out the water/moisture, and in the end, had the inside of my home looking like nothing had ever happened. I was very pleased with the results!

I was referred to K&M by my Home Owners Ins. Company as well as a couple of other Construction and Roofing teams. I had called upon them to check on my Roof and some other things at my Home.One of the Teams I had called had said I needed a total new Roof. K&M and the other Inspector had said my Roof was Excellent and looks in Great Shape. While here I had the K&M inspector to check on some work on my Garage. The Gentleman came to my door to tell me the good news of the Roof and had said he fixed the Garage,he told me to come and look,so I did it looked so much better,it was some siding and a gutter loose.I said what do I owe you and he responded nothing it didn't take much. I had some Concrete Block work that needed repair so I called them back they came,fixed my repairs while I was working and later that evening the Gentleman called and said how does the repairs look? I checked their work and was so pleased that they were so on point and meticulous with the job they did for me! It is not everyday that you can allow a crew to come to your home and do a job without overseeing them. I find them to be very honest,precise and would use them again and highly recommend them. This company is a disgrace the men there are a waste of time always on there phones texting or on social media. And a young lady with blonde hair I can't remember her name, but she comes in and distract the workers she's no better. And clearly from the other reviews they have no respect for your house or what's in it. And some are perverted! My wife and I would not recommend a unprofessional company like this to our friends or family.

We had a car run into our home. This company came out to board our house and we hired them to redo our kitchen. The whole experience was awful. The workers used my kitchen knives to cut the drywall. The insulation was put in wrong and it was sloppy. I asked them to not install anything until we sat down and went over a price and they did it anyway. Learned a valuable lesson.

As an apartment manager for 14 years, I definitely kept K &M Construction on speed dial. They worked with us through fires, plumbing backups and Storm damages. I was never worried about repairs when they were on the job.
They have such a great work ethic and attention to details! Thanks K & M I am happy I found such a great restoration company!

I can only tell you to Never use this company. I have watched them for the last year to take their time and rebuild a Condo Complex in Bridgepoint (Cincinnati, Ohio) What I have seen of the work that they have done, its crap at best. I have seven friends that live in the complex and hear the horror stories. Dan (foreman) is incompetent at best. Makes promises and then does not follow through with those promises. I have already advised the home owners to contact the BBB.
