I’m pleased with the overall service from Klappenberger & Son. The estimate was prompt and fair along with scheduling and their recommendations. The painters arrived at my house on time. They did an excellent swift job painting my 3 bedrooms. I highly recommend and will use this company again.

Phenomenal customer service. Justin came for the estimate and then came to follow up in person for an eval of how the work was going. David did a skim coat for a room i removed wallpaper in. I pointed out some imperfections and he jumped right on it and then showed me that it was good before any paint went on the wall. More follow up from Justin a couple weeks after to make sure I was still happy. Good luck finding someone better than that! Will refer and use them again!

Daniel and his team were responsive, easy to work with, and their work looks great! We had our whole condo repainted, including molding and doors, and we are so pleased with how everything turned out! Thank you for making our “new” home seem fresh and our own.

We highly recommend Daniel and his team! They were very responsive, answered my call immediately and came out quickly to give us an estimate. Even offering referrals and tips for work they couldn’t do. They painted multiple rooms, added shelves on the walls, and installed shoe molding within 2 days, before we moved in. We will definitely be calling Klappenberger & son for any future painting jobs!

In mid-August, my wife and I contracted with Klappenberger & Son to paint the exterior of our house. Each morning, the team arrived early to get their day started. We were very pleased that the outside surface was meticulously scraped before actual painting started. We particularly commend Daniel Tucker (and his crew leader Nery) for his overall customer service, professionalism, attentiveness, and responsiveness to all our questions and concerns during the work on this project. Any questions we had, Daniel always responded quickly.

After the paint job was completed, we did a complete walk around and inspection with Klappenberger, and noted our complete satisfaction. The project site was left completely clean.

Overall, our experience with Klappenberger was very pleasant. We were “very pleased” with the final result of the exterior painting. Klappenberger fully met our expectation and the terms of the contract.

I got referred by my realtor and I was scared of the pricing, but was surprised at not only how fair the prices were, but the exceptional professionalism that followed. We had been proposed the same price from another company, but what won us over was the attention to detail. We received a PDF that included images of our rooms with breakdowns of what each room would entail. We felt confident that all our asks would be fulfilled instead of struggling to know what was really going to happen. The guys who worked on our home were SO kind and checked in with us for approval through the process. Would definitely hire them again.

Daniel and his crew did some work for us in our kitchen as well as some other projects to update our old house before we put it on the market. Overall we were very satisfied with the results. The carpentry and painting work look great, and they were very amenable to a few add ons. There were a couple instances of miscommunication throughout and we did have to have someone come back early the week after they finished to fix one thing that had been left undone, but they were very willing to do so and didn’t charge us any extra. Would use again

Look no further if you need a professional painter in the DMV area. Daniel and his team, Alex and Geovanni, had a huge task to paint my entire 3br 2.5 bath condo, and they certainly delivered. They provided the most reasonable price compared to 4 other contractors that gave me quotes. They completed the job a day after planned, but only because they are perfectionists and had to apply a third coat to cover the original very dark trim. "One coat" coverage by Behr is misleading, but that's Behr's fault. You can't even tell that the previous color was so dark because Alex and Geovanni are meticulous and thorough. They took great care to prep the walls and cover appliances. I'm thrilled with the outcome and highly recommend them for any paint job you may have.

Thank you for such great service! We’ve gone with Klappenberger twice for painting and their work exceeded our expectations each time. Most recently, we had two rooms painted along with a few drywall and trim repairs. The work was completed early (one day instead of the two-day estimate) and the price was great for the quality of work performed. Thanks again, we’ll come back for our next painting project.

We had a project we wanted completed for a long time- getting recessed lights put in the main room and bedroom. Klappenberger & Son, and Daniel and his team, were amazing! We contacted him for a quote for the job and we promptly had Daniel over who sketched up an estimate of the project. We had to put it on hold until we got our schedules and finances in order before starting and Daniel was flexible. When we were ready to go, we were contacted with times that the electrician would be working. The electrician, Paul, was so accommodating, took EXTRA care to ensure that the plans were exactly as we wanted them, and diligently did his work. He checked in to make sure things were looking good from our end and he always cleaned up at the end of the day. The crew that came to repair the walls and repaint were great. In only a day they patched up the holes and got it looking like nothing had happened. All in all, our experience with Daniel and his team exceeded all our expectations. They are prompt, they listened to our needs, and did the job very professionally. We would recommend them to anyone who has a project they need done!

Klappenberger & Son did a fantastic job bringing our historic Victorian home back to life! We live in a small condo building that had experienced many years of neglect, and the paint was badly peeling on brick, limestone, wood and sheet metal surfaces. Klappenberger & Son took the time to prep all surfaces properly to ensure that the finished coats of paint would last, and they worked with us closely to focus on the critical areas of the building that needed the most help, and those that would be visible from the street. As a professional architect, my expectations of a contractor’s attention to detail are very high, and Klappenberger & Son was able to deliver excellent results that met that high bar.
