We were given a quote for a roof replacement that we filed under our insurance co and K&l were great at first . They did our main house and when it came to the second residence they stopped and asked for twice as what was agreed upon and I ask for a refund and that I would look for another option and it’s been over 6 months and I have not received any calls or much less my refund . When I call they do not answer, they text me back with an excuse and promise to contact me but have not done so to this day . Very unprofessional and disrespectful. They have told me that $3600 is not a large amount, yet it seems that they are not able to refund $3600 . I have been waiting almost a year , when is enough enough ?

Job looked great. My insurance company didn’t want to pay for any roof repairs. K&L worked to get me full coverage. The insurance company was the only one that was not taking my claim in a timely manner. I’m very satisfied with the outcome

Excellent customer service, very quick and efficient. I have solar panels and they did everything in 3 days, from removing the panels, replacing the roof, and reinstalling the panels. They left everything clean, and the roof looks amazing. They also communicated with my insurance company directly, which made it easier. Knowledgeable owners and trustworthy... Very professional company. They beat every other quote I received for roof replacement. The workers were on time and there was a supervisor on site 100% of the time which communicated each phase of the roof repair and even did a final inspection within my attic. They covered all of my outside flowerbeds, moved pots, put tarps over my furniture and on the ground to ensure that there was no damage to my property or my neighbors property. Their cleanup was impeccable, my home was back to looking as if nothing had been done. They also worked with the insurance company to update the estimate and were able to get me additional monies for the roof replacement. I highly recommend K&L for roof repair. We even have them bidding on putting in a pergola patio cover! Love, love my new roof.

They did a wonderful job roofing our house AND especially working with our insurance company getting us the best deal. The first adjuster said no but Triston climbed on the roof & and showed them the hail damage. Anthony kept after the insurance company until he got them to pay for the new roof. Just received a new roof for my mother and she is so pleased by the work done by K&L Contractors. It only took 1 day to complete. They were so friendly and went the extra mile to be sure she was taken care of. The workers were so nice and did an excellent job cleaning up, you would never have known anyone was even there. From start to finish we were kept in contact of every step and we appreciate that. I highly recommend this company, they did a fantastic job.

I took time to write this to avoid any anger, frustration or emotion out of it, to keep it honest and pure.

Admittedly, the interaction with them was not smooth for me, as delay from their side, breached time line for my Solar installation project, in spite of staying on top at every stage. I still could not activate my solar project still due to that.

But still why I am giving them 4 stars? All my anguish in this project was due to a project which was lined up to be installed over the roof. We were trying to keep it on a tight time line to accomplish this. Not sure for how many this situation will arise. If it is just roofing project, I would not have texted them incessantly to stay on top of the schedule. No regrets on that as only crying baby gets the milk.:)

So I want to see this in overall perspective. While seeing what was not done on time, I want to see and appreciate what was done to add value too.

1) With Jerrad, while interaction at times were abrasive, I can't take away the hard work he put in getting things done, given the position on Hierarchy he holds, where he needs permissions/approvals for most of things from his bosses. He is a hard worker and raising star in his field and I am thankful for what he got done and wish him all the best.
2) Mark is a very knowledgeable person in working with insurance and he is definitely added value to the whole project with his rich experience.
3) They are Master Elite GAF roofers(only 3% of contractors are), who can pull Golden Pledge GAF warranty, when eligible materials were used. They promised and honored that promise at no cost for which I am thankful.
4) They also honored installing classification 4 shingles, which are hail resistant and slightly expensive. This has decent saving in insurance premium, for which I am thankful too.
5) They also honored and helped with some extra work as promised like Gutter for some length, chimney paint, wooden trim etc. Again, I am thankful for that too.
6) Their subcontractors are good too. Some of them I gave good reviews too.

I do not know about how their support will be should I need one. I will revisit then to give a honest review on that too.

If you want to replace your roof or do some home renovations, I highly recommend K&L Contractors. CEO Anthony Haab is top notch, honest and will walk you through the entire process. He will fight the insurance companies to get you top dollar when there is damage. He will not cut corners on the job and provides top quality work. I was very pleased using the company to replace my roof. #1 with me was his honesty and willingness to have a satisfied customer vs making a quick buck. This is sadly rare in this industry.

K & L Contractors were Awesome! My home is 10 years old and our dark stained floors have seen better days. The wife and I decided to have our wood floors sanded and restored to a lighter satin.
Adam gave us a price quote and we scheduled a day for a test stain sample selection to choose from. We were able to schedule a start date with an estimated completion date, which they completed all the tasks a day earlier.
The on sight supervisor, Logan was very helpful and keep us up to date on the progress.

Being the first time of experiencing such intensity of hailstorm having been in Texas since 2012, I immediately knew I had some challenges to deal with. I never had to deal with any insurance company regarding claims, auto or homeowner prior to this time, and I worried what the next step would be.

Then came Angel to the rescue first thing in the morning after the storm knocking on my door. After the introduction, he walked me through the services K&L offers including assisting to ensure the claim process with the insurance company is seamless, and most importantly financing options. I took his card but thought I needed to speak with some other companies and individuals going around the neighborhood. I made my decision not long thereafter and called him up later that day, and I am glad it was the right decision. Angel is passionate, calm, knowledgeable and had some good jokes (literally). He would always follow up to ensure all questions and concerns are addressed. He linked me up with Anthony same day; Anthony was really kind enough and took his time to speak with me even though he was in an important event that day. That meant a lot.

Anthony is one of the coolest, personable individuals I have ever dealt with. He is very active, and present all through the process. He assisted not only with the Claims process, but with city approvals. Though a very short business relationship because of the length of time it took to complete the claim and effectively execute the repairs, I now consider Anthony a part of my family.

Lastly, every successful project needs a focused and exemplary leadership of a good project manager, and I strongly believe K&L timely and effective project execution is partly due to the hard work and dedication of David. The roof repair work was completed timely and professionally.

Anthony, Adam and Team were absolutely amazing. We had a hose bib burst during a freeze and they came out same day. Carpet was pulled, fans delivered and they kept us from having a much larger issue down the road. Repairs included replacing the hose bib and new carpet in one room. They were also so accommodating as we decided to redo the carpet in a 2nd room on the fly. Their install group were on time, polite, very careful with our furniture and did an amazing job. We love our new carpet.
