I met Brad Black (owner) back in 1997. He was recommended by several of my neighbors that used his company to replace their entire roofs.

He did a great job and I have not needed his services until Jan of 2025. I had a small leak around my hot water exhaust. He sent someone out in 2 business days and fixed it for free. Then, in Feb of 2025, we had a wind storm and I lost around 15 shingles. Once again, I called Brad and he had someone out in 2 days and he repaired it for free.

Needless to say, I give Brad and his company a 10/10 and, whenever the next hail storm hits Plano, he'll be replacing my roof.

Several shingles were peeled from our home’s roof by the heavy storm that passed through North Texas on March 4th. With assistance from Ms Polly Weaver of State Farm, I contacted Brad Black of High Performance Roofing to determine if the firm would inspect the roof and make any required repairs. He really exceeded my expectations by arranging not just to have an inspection, but to have the damage repaired by midafternoon on the 4th.

Larry did an amazing job on our roof. We had so much trouble with water leaking from there, Larry did a great job attending to every need for our roof issues and completing the job swiftly and properly. If we ever need more work done, he is definitely our go to person.

As someone who has some experience and knowledge about roofing, I was disappointed with the whole process from start to finish with HPR. They did not follow my instructions, did not return my phone calls, roofed over bad decking, nailed outside the required nail zone, and did not put underlayment in certain ridge areas. I had to call them back twice to fix their mistakes. My suggestion would be to find a "roofer" that has only one crew, no salesman. no office manager, and takes pride in his work.

Outstanding company and employees. Working with George and Larry was wonderful. They care about the customer which you don’t see much anymore. The workers were really great and did an outstanding job. We got a new roof and windows and they painted the outside of the house. It looks amazing!

Before I bought my house, I had heard a lot of horror stories about roofers here in Texas, so when I did, the first thing I did was reach out to a number of different vendors to see if I could get quotes & insights on the pros and cons of a metal roof. The only vendor who responded was High Performance, which I can only guess was because it wasn't an active sale; was just a research project.

Little did I know, in the following May (only eight months later), the seventh year of 20-year guarantee shingled roof was going to be totaled. So that's who I called. We started to make our plans, and they let me do the parts I wanted to do in the preparation phase, which brought a WHOLE NEW problem to light.

The Solar City solar panels had punctured our roof because they installed on known seal decking, causing unknown, likely YEARS, amounts of mold to form inside the kitchen wall.

HP worked with me to get quotes for second insurance company, work to try and find a mold remediation group for who might be able to do the job (it turned out to be 20' of infected wall). While the vendor couldn't help because it was greater than 2' square, they gave me great guidance on what to look for.

HP made this whole thing as painless as possible.

Beautiful new windows were installed by professionals with high standards New back door with high level security locks and dog door pre-installed in the glass were pricey but I believe both are worth it in the long run as both they are high quality products installed expertly.

I had a couple of holes in my roof due to rodents and after they were gone, needed to get the roof patched as it was going to rain the next evening. The company sent Andres out and he was amazing!!! He explained what he would do, and immediately went to work. He was extremely thorough, neat, and professional. I have had 2 roofs completed by this company and would highly recommend High Performance Roofing!!

If it wasn't for Mack Johnson, I would not have a new roof! Mack came in response to a request for a Solar Breeze installation estimate but provided detailed expertise regarding the condition of our roof which had already been inspected twice. As a result of his guidance, we submitted a claim for hail damage (which was not mentioned at all by the previous inspectors) and it was approved. HPR with Mack at the lead then proceeded to replace my roof and installed the Solar Breeze. They were professional throughout the process and I'd highly recommend them!

He took us through the whole process, explaining everything that needed to be done and answering all our questions and getting back to us quickly when we had more. With Mo’s excellent leadership, the project was completed within the promised timeframe. I can highly recommend HPR who we used to paint the exterior of our house. The guys did an outstanding job, they arrived when they said they would, were respectful of my property and landscaping and did a great clean up at the end. They paid attention to detail painting items I wouldn’t have considered such as the pipework on the gas meter. George who oversaw the job was very detailed in his explanation of what the job would entail and was great at communicating. He was also on site regularly to check on how the job was progressing. Our roof was replaced by High Performance Roofing in 2022. We bought the house in 2023 and the 5 year warranty was transferable to us as the new home owners! This morning during the heavy rain I heard water, went into the laundry room, and found water heavily dripping onto my washer and dryer out of the ceiling and a very large water stain in the ceiling sheet rock. I called them at 12:25pm to try to get a warranty repair and the person on the phone said they would alert the owner and I would hear from someone "shortly".

I expected it to be awhile to hear back and for it to probably be next week before anyone came to check the roof since it's a Saturday. I also fully expected to have to be pushy to get them to honor the warranty since we were new owners. But they blew my expectations out of the water!

I heard from Mack 20 minutes later and by by 2:15 I had two workers at my house ready to go. They got in the attic, checked it all out and were on the roofing fixing the leak in no time. It's 3:30pm now and they are already finished with the work and gone! On top of that I have already been assured by Mack that after we confirm all leaking has stopped after it rains again tonight and tomorrow that he will reach out and schedule time to get replace and paint the sheetrock on my ceiling and fix any damage in the attic caused by the leak.

I seriously cannot recommend them enough and I will definitely stick with them for any future roofing needs after this experience. 10/10.

There were a few missed steps in the process however he made sure that the corrections were made and things were done to our satisfaction. One of the easiest and most professional companies I've dealt with, from Mack explaining the whole process to the installation day. The crews were very respectful and timely in their work. Even while working from home, I was rarely reminded they were even there. 10/10 would recommend HPR for window installation.

Probably the worst roofing experience I’ve ever had..As a roofer not bad but they left +20 nails on the ground. Trimming and other debris, I rented a “magnet broom” to go over the flower beds and yard. I couldn’t believe how much was left behind.
Another issue is the solar attic fan…. It has always oscillates and makes a high pitch squeal that can be heard when the AC isn’t running. I’ve called them, had them come out, sent them a video with sound to show them the problem, nothing but crickets, no one even called me back. So I have attic fans I never asked for. Slow or no communications, I had to push this project all the way to this point. I don’t know if the remainder will be fixed. They got the money and ran.

We recently have the pleasure of hiring HPR to replace our roofing and also install new gutters. This is our first home and the first time dealing with home insurance for a claim and can be worrisome. However, Isaac Price at High Performance Restoration was a huge help and always available to answer our questions along the way.

When we got hit with a hail storm about 7 years HPR definitely came to my rescue. They came to my home and walked me through all of my options and inspected my entire house to see where any additional repairs were needed. They worked with my insurance company and took all the necessary steps to get contractors to my home quickly for those items that got damaged by the storm. It only took them a day to get my new tier 4 roof put up and they made sure to leave the outside of my house as clean as I left it. Since the installation took place I have had to reach out for a couple of things to be looked at and this company got someone out within a day or two to get the issue looked at. They take reported issues seriously and really do everything they can to make their customers happy. My contact Paul Wilkerson is always on top of items that I need help with and questions that I have and does everything he can to get me taken care of quickly. Our home was damaged during the devastating freeze in Texas in February 2021. We had lost power, which resulted in a burst pipe that poured water for 2 hours. I cannot thank Paul Wilkerson enough for helping us during that extremely stressful time. Paul with HPR responded immediately and helped us through the whole process, beginning with getting movers to come pack up, move and store our belongings, having dehumidifiers and fans delivered ASAP, and getting started on remediation.
