We had such a great experience with Keown Builders. They listened and followed through when needed. The quality of their work has been wonderful and we enjoy our patio so much.

7 years ago our SW Denton County residential community got hit with a substantial hail storm. Numerous neighbors called claims and received new roofs. We purposely waited for 6 months before we filed our claim. Why? Because there were numerous roofing companies that wanted our business.

Problem was that based on my experience in life, I know that not all roofing companies are created equal when it comes to craftsmanship, cleanup, warranty, trust abd customer service. After weeks of investigation, personal interviews and several recommendations from neighbors, it came down to choosing between one of the largest DFW roofing companies and an up and coming smaller one, Keown Builders. After actually eyeballing Curtis Keown’s roofs with his competition and after trusting my personal and professional instincts, we chose Keown Builders.

I am sure glad that I did because the larger company did my neighbor’s roof and over the course of 2 months, their new ridging shingles blew off two different times!

Fast forward to the Spring of 2024. Our area was hit by another less intense hail storm. Being proactive I called Curtis Keown to see if he was still in business and not only found that he was but that it had grown substantially! Always like to see small businesses prosper; especially when the owner, in this case Mr Kwewn, maintains high standards of honesty, politeness, ethics and customer satisfaction.

Since it’s been so long since my roof was replaced, I asked him to check it out it. I am confident that when he does that he won’t recommend that I file an insurance claim unless he can prove that I have enough hail damage
to warrant a new roof. In case you don’t know it’s not good to file a claim unless you really have enough damage to justify it. With Keown, I don’t have to worry about this.
