I recently had the pleasure of working with Kemp Windows, owned by Mr. Bill Kemp, and I couldn't be more satisfied. From the very beginning, the team made a great impression. Mike Callehgan, who handled the initial consultation, was a true professional and gave us confidence right from the start.

The installation process was smooth and handled with the utmost care. Migueal, the supervisor in charge, ensured that every detail was taken care of, keeping things on track and exceeding expectations. My father, who is not easily impressed, stopped by during the installation and was blown away by the workmanship and efficiency he saw firsthand.

The team at Kemp Windows went above and beyond, especially considering the extensive repairs that were needed in addition to the window replacements. Their dedication to making sure everything went smoothly was truly commendable. I interviewed 8 different companies before deciding, and Kemp was the first. From that initial meeting, I just had a feeling they were the right choice—not just focused on the money, but genuinely caring about the quality of their work.

We spoke with three companies before deciding to work with Bill Kemp and his team. The price, product and installation were all top-notch! We were so happy with our experience that we immediately hired Kemp Co. to do our gutters next. Once that's done, we'll move onto windows.

The windows in one of the rooms in my house were in rough shape. I had called every leading window company in Richmond. Then a contractor told me about Kemp Windows and how he always works with them because they have affordable prices and do great work. He was absolutely right! The owner himself came out to assess the work and suggested going from 8 single hung windows to 4 sliders. He gave me a quote that was much lower than the previous quotes plus he said that the windows have a life time warranty. After the measurements were taken it was only about 4 or 5 weeks before the windows came in and were installed. I am so happy with my new windows and I will definitely use their services again in the future!

Set-up them to replace a window and signed the proposal Feb. 6th. They said they would be out with-in two weeks to measure the window. After multiple calls, texts, and a missed appointment he finally came out to measure the window a month later.
When he arrived, there was confusion over whether they were replacing a pane or changing the window. I waited two weeks and hadn’t heard anything so I texted for an update. No response. Called a few days later and was told they do not do those small jobs.
At the end of the day, they wasted 6 weeks of my time on something they could have told me day one. They had a second opportunity when they came out to measure. Then I have to follow-up multiple times to hear they weren’t going to do it.

Response: I understand somehow you were confused on what I wanted. My review is of your follow-up, lack of communication, and taking 6 weeks to come to a conclusion.

When doing a pretty project big like windows you want to make sure you feel good about who you go with and working with Mr. Kemp we felt that instantly. His price was very reasonable compared to four other quotes we received and the install was very smooth and the windows looks great. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to get their windows replaced.

Working with Kemp windows was a great experience! We renovate homes and moving forward this will be our go to company! We got quotes from the 3 big window companies and the estimates were 12-16 weeks. We found Kemp Windows and they came in under their quotes and had a timeine of 6-8 weeks. Sadly, kemp windows “I want your money” and Kemp Windows “ I have your money “ is like Jekyl and Hyde. We contracted with them to install 18 windows Even though this wasn’t our lowest estimate, we were so impressed with Mr Kemp and his sales presentation, and he assured us he used his own installers, not a sub-contractor. We had several red flags during installation, and with a little pushing, all was well. Until the installation was finished and we had a brown, ugly substance running down our white siding from several of our new windows. The same substance was also on various places around the outside of our home and on several of the new frames. That’s when we saw the other side of Mr Kemp. After 6 months of lies and broken promise and ignoring us , it took a “threatening “ type letter to get things moving. Amazingly, he was able to match our siding in 1 1/2 hours, although he had “tried” for over 6 months. Our windows were installed on April 20, 2022, and the stained siding was replaced on November 8,2022. Now we have $14000 worth of windows installed my a sub contractor, working for a company we have no confidence in. Not a comfortable position, to say the least.

I would hope it never crossed your mind to charge us for the damage your subcontractors did to my home! The damage was “on the back and sides”. Does that make it less of a priority to repair? Your response speaks volumes

From our initial call to install to final payment Bill Kemp and his whole team were awesome! They were very informative about the different types of windows they offer and their installation team was on time, efficient, and tidy. Highly recommend! Our windows look amazing!

Great working with this company. Bill was professional and responsive. We looked at 6 others and Bill was able to meet all our needs and only took about 2-3weeks from the time he ordered until they were installed, other companies were 3-4 months out! The installers came directly from the manufacturer (not a 3rd party) so they were incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. Would highly recommend working with Kemp windows and Alside.

The owners are so knowledgeable about this high end and cost efficient product (Doors/storm doors/gutters/wrap). You name it they can pretty much do the job and do it with quality work. If I were not home while they were doing the job, I would have never known anyone was here. They vacuumed, swept my porch in the rain, and cleaned up all debree from the install. If I saw something I didn't care for during installation they fixed it and/or explained why it was the way it was. This company doesn't have the overhead of a giant company so you are paying for a quality product and quality work streamlined straight through to the owner. I will call Kemp for everything.

The installers arrived at the time arranged. The workers were polite, professional and efficient. They cleaned up the area after the installation. The installation was done in the timeframe specified. Looking forward to using this company for additional home renovations.

I highly recommend Kemp Windows. My inquiry was responded to quickly as well as the visit to show me the actual window, explain how to clean etc and give estimate. My windows arrived earlier than expected and the install was expeditious by courteous installers who cleaned up all areas upon completion. I love my new windows and when I am able to replace the remaining few, I plan to use Kemp Windows again.

I would recommend Kemp Windows for window installations. The price was right and the install went smoothly. The guys installing were polite, answered all my questions and made changes to any questionable areas. Mr. Kemp’s initial presentation was spot on as well. He came in our home, told us about the windows, didn’t try to talk all night to do that, nor did he start with the most expensive option. Great experience.

I hired Kemp Windows to replace all of the windows in a house I'm flipping in West Hampton, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I got quotes from several firms, but ultimately chose Kemp Windows, as Mr. Kemp struck me as a man of integrity (sadly the same can't be said for his competitors, one of whom flat out lied to me to try and get my business).

From start to finish the process went smoothly, and Mr. Kemp and his team delivered on everything they promised within the allotted time. His contract was simple and straight forward, unlike his competitor's ocean of legalese and fine print. Most of all, I liked the fact that whenever I called, Mr. Kemp answered the phone himself, not some call center thousands of miles away.

Oh, and did I mention the windows look great? Trust me they do, and my neighbors keep complimenting me on the transformation of the property.

The team arrived a few minutes early, got organized and began the work. Miguel was kind informative when I had a question, and responded immediately when I was having an issue with a window (package debris was stuck in a spot). They worked meticulously in wrapping windows they did not install to insure uniformity to the look of all of the windows. When everything was in place, the caulking was done with care and expertise. There was minimal debris left, if any. 2 windows needed brick and frame work that was done seamlessly. This was not a fast job, and seeing the result I was happy that they took their time to do it right. Installation was fast, the wrapping of 16 windows took a while as each piece was measured and cut for each window. These guys are pros. I like supporting local, and they saved me several thousands of dollars compared to the large and heavily advertised companies.

Extremely professional & courteous! Quick but service is not sacrificed. Windows are very good quality. Makes my house stand out in the neighborhood now as the "nice" house...lol

Having in older home, I was looking for windows that were efficient and did not detract from the character of my 1920s home. I've know Bill for a while, I consider him a friend. Sometimes friends and business don't mix. That's not the case with Bill. He's done windows for my home and my parent's homes. He's also done roofing, siding and door work for several friends I've referred to him. Anything involving home improvement, I call him first.

I'm a real estate agent, so I'm very particular regarding work done on my home. I had interviewed several window companies and was about to make a choice when I saw Kemp Windows installing windows across the street. I asked for a quote and was pleased with the honest service approach and the professionalism. They did an outstanding job. I would use them again and highly recommend them to my clients and friends.

Kemp installed Windows at my residence some years ago. The product,installation and professionalism were in line with or exceeded my expectations. Billy is truly a man of integrity.

The most unprofessional experience I've ever had with a contractor/owner of any business. I wish there was a "no star" option on Google reviews. Less than a year after my siding was installed the panels began to peel and fall off. Mr. Kemp is rude, dishonest, and narcissistic. After 4 failed attempts to get the panels properly installed I had to hire my own contractor which to my horror and utter disappointment discovered that Mr. Kemp and his team of unskilled sub contractors GLUED THE PANELS IN PLACE AND NAILED IN PIECES UPSIDE DOWN! How could any professional man with any conscience allow this standard of work. Stay away from him and his bogus company. I'm beyond disgusted of the poor service and poor craftsmanship of Bill Kemp, sour and distasteful attitude of Bill Kemp, complete dishonesty of Bill Kemp, and his frightening capability to prey on innocent home owners. Once he has your money he could care less about his customer or your home. Search elsewhere for a liscenced honest contractor.

When I put my contact information on the website to get a call back, in less than 5 minutes I received a call from the owner, Bill. This one action told me this was the company for me.
Talking with Bill was like talking things out with a friend. There’s no hard sale. The website is 100% on: HASSLE FREE. Bill wanted to know what I wanted the house to be, what I saw, what I was looking for. He educated me on the products so I’d understand what I was getting and took time to answer questions. He not only helped me pick the best products to meet my needs, but helped in designing the look I wanted.

The installer, Doc, and his Team, work exclusively with Kemp, they’re not contacted out. This relationship between Doc and Bill was very important to me. Doc and his Team were friendly and worked hard to get the job done and make sure everything was just right. They worked with me in installing windows in a specific room first so I could accommodate my dogs for the day. Doc even installed my new doorbell I had bought, which was super nice of him.

My house had the old wooden windows: cold air and noise from outside coming in the windows and doors, auxiliary heat running constantly with a $450 electric bill, the living room was at least 5 degrees cooler than the rest of the house BUT the sun shining through the picture window heated the living room like an oven (in winter it’s great, but summer not so much). The doors went in the first day and there were no air leaks. Everything was sealed tight. I could even feel a slight difference in temperature in the living room. As soon as my big picture window went in, I could tell a difference in the noise. It was almost eerily quiet. And when the sun came around? There was light in the living room, no heat from the sun. Of course I also got double paned windows, but I couldn’t believe the difference it was all making. And the temperature stayed consistent throughout the house, even the living room which was the coldest room of the house.

As i stated, my most recent electric bill was $450. And that was with plastic on some windows, curtains tacked around windows, blankets on doors, keeping interior doors closed, and a small electric heater running. But now that my windows and doors are in, all that is history and I’m looking forward to seeing a drastic cost reduction (probably in the March bill).

Bill knows his products. All the problems I told him I was experiencing, he told me the improvements I’d see and I have seen/felt them all immediately! I have already recommended Kemp to friends of mine and though my next project is down the road, I’ll definitely be calling Kemp for that. If you’re looking for quotes, it’s worth your time to give Kemp a call. I can say with complete honesty, if I hadn’t reached out, I definitely would have been missing out on a great company and home improvement experience.

They just finished my new roof. Bill Kemp was super efficient. His roofing team was amazing. The 2 hottest days this summer, they were here early and worked until there was no more light outside. When they finished, they cleaned up everything.
The whole experience was the epitome of professionalism.

I had a specialty window that had a rotted sash and needed to be replaced. I called a number of window providers and none seemed to be willing or able to assist me. I became so frustrated, I put replacing the window on the back burner for over a year until a friend told me about Kemp Windows & Siding. On the day I first contacted Kemp Windows, I spoke to Bill around noon. Within 2 hours, he was able to get someone out to measure my window and quote a price (Something that other providers took weeks to do, if they got back to me at all). I accepted his proposal immediately and by close of business, my window was ordered from the manufacturer. The window was ultimately installed about 10 days later when it came in. The Installers were friendly and professional and did a great job with the install!! I was more than satisfied with the overall results and service I received and HIGHLY recommend Kemp Windows & Siding!!
