I wanted to find someone who could do every project (painting, flooring, bathroom, and kitchen) at one time and who would be responsible for hiring painters, plumbers, inspectors, etc. Therefore, I decided to contact a general contractor. I searched online and found KeithSmith Construction. I looked at their photos, read the reviews about how great of a job they did, and how trusting the workers were. I decided to call them once I read that and viewed the photos. (Awesome website! Very user friendly) After talking to Chris, I knew I had made the best decision.

Wayne and Matthew kept me updated on what's being done each day. Jason, Rucker and Schaeffer were great. They made sure things were being done the way I wanted it. Hunter made my life easy by offering suggestions and ordering the items I wanted.

All the guys are awesome. Therefore, I can't rate one better than the other. Once the renovation was completed, I practically have a new home. I highly recommend KeithSmith Construction especially if you have trust issues like I do. Thank you for everything. You made my life easy and stress free from start to finish.

After looking at several friends remodeling projects completed by different companies, we chose Keith Smith Construction to renovate our master bathroom.
We couldn’t have found a more caring, capable, enthusiastic and thoughtful team for our job. From concept through design, their vision was beautifully executed. Although we encountered some unexpected problems resulting from a longtime water leak and a few details that needed to be resolved, surprisingly, our estimated completion date was still on target.
The result is a beautiful, well executed and thoroughly enjoyable master bathroom. My husband and I wouldn’t hesitate to use Keith Smith Construction for additional projects!

From the very early stages of planning, all the way through handing over the keys to our new home, Keith Smith Construction was supportive and extremely helpful. Our project manager, Holden, was so detail oriented and often caught issues before we could even see them. Holden's attention to detail built a sense of trust between us, which allowed us to thoroughly enjoy the building process and the final product is a truly beautiful home. As a surprise when they handed over the keys to the house, Chris and Holden told us they installed a whole house water shut off device that we could control remotely and would notify us of any leaks! This brought us so much peace of mind when we are not at the house, knowing that our home was protected. Chris, Holden, and their entire team should be proud of the product they have given us! We would highly recommend the custom home division and the entire company to everyone!

The guys did an excellent job repairing some water damage in our ceiling. They found the best and most efficient way to fix the issue so that it wouldn’t cost us any extra money. They were also meticulous when it came to both prepping the area and cleaning up after themselves. You could hardly tell they had ever been there, except for the work they performed. They were also incredibly polite, punctual, and just good people. You really can’t ask for more when it comes to service providers that you are inviting into your home!

Keith Smith Construction is AMAZING! We had a lot of termite and moisture damage in one corner of our house, where our master bedroom is. Some of the floor joists had actually crumbled and broken. The termites had done a number on the band and sill plate around that corner as well, and had even gotten up into some of the wall studs.
When I contacted Keith Smith Construction about getting their help to repair our bedroom, I was afraid they would say they did not want to do it, because it was going to be some nasty, difficult work, But they never hesitated and said they could do it. They were very courteous and professional. If they said they would call you at a specific time or come to your house at a specific time, they called and showed up right on time.
They gave us what I thought was a very reasonable estimate for the work we requested.
Since they were working on the bedroom anyway, we had them go ahead and do new carpet, remove an outside door to the bedroom that we never used (which required them to re-side the outside wall), re-paint the bedroom, and had them do new LVP flooring in the adjoining master bathroom and hallway.
Everyone involved in our project was capable, professional, and courteous and did great work; from Lori, who took our initial call, to the owner Chris and remodel supervisor Wayne, to the crew that actually did the work (Jason, Rucker, and Schaefer). They worked hard and got done before Christmas, so that we could move back into our bedroom.
They found a few other issues, like some rotted subfloor in the master bathroom, which they replaced without even missing a beat, with minimal added cost. They also fixed a plumbing leak, fixed some electrical wiring issues caused by the floor damage, and made some supports for some of the large plumbing pipes as a preventative measure.
And the finished project looked amazing.

I have had a very positively experience with Keith Smith construction. Their communication is excellent, far exceeding my expectations. They make sure that everybody’s on the same page from beginning to end of the job and that everything is done to a high standard. So far I’ve had them work on a patio and drainage system and gutters. Next I’m going to have them do an addition to my home with a bathroom and a bedroom and a laundry room.

My family hired Keith Smith Construction after a terrible experience with a previous contractor who did subpar work and left us with 5 unfinished house projects. Working with Chris, Wayne, and Jason was a completely different story as they were organized, prepared, punctual, and professional. I appreciate how respectful they were of our home, the work was not only done but done well, and they were willing to work out a contract that suited us bc of our unfortunate situation. I can’t speak highly enough of Chris or his team and would truly recommend them to anyone. Our family will certainly call them first the next time we need any work done!

From that first phone call and initial meeting to the final inspection of our front porch portico project, everyone at Keith Smith Construction went above and beyond to build exactly what we had imagined. They listened to our ideas and suggested even better options for our project. Chris suggested using rain chains instead of traditional downspouts on the gutters. We found the perfect ones, and he even perfected the original installation when he did the final walk thru! Their construction team did an amazing job, especially working so carefully to protect a special Japanese Maple tree so very close to the project. We appreciated their excellent communication and professionalism, and look forward to working with them on future projects.

Chris Smith is very organized, knowledgeable, responsible and excellent to work with. We asked him to replace our screened porch with a 3 season porch using 4 track vinyl windows. His company had not installed those before but he did the research and found all the necessary information to order and install. He set a calendar for the project and things actually went ahead of schedule! He diligently came to make measurements several times to ensure they were accurate and kept us updated throughout the process. The materials arrived on time and he had great suggestions for picking out flooring. He also worked with us to keep the cost within our budget. The project ran into a small snag on day one and the crew communicated with us promptly. We were able to work out a solution that did not delay the project at all. Chris was involved and responsive from planning through the last walk through. Very happy with everything and will definitely use him again! Have already recommended him to our friends and family!

Incredible experience! The crew was amazing and fun to be around, efficient, detailed oriented, left not even a nail behind (it’s the little things that make the difference). Because we couldn’t be there some of the time, we felt completely safe leaving our home unlocked. They were nothing but nice and when an issue came up, they always asked us how we’d like to proceed. Keith Smith Construction did a major remodel for us that began in January of 2023 and ended in August of 2023. It has taken me a while to let the dust settle and think about what I wanted to say. Life in general is messy and when you throw a lengthy remodel into the mix well it just gets messier. There are moments we would love to forget and moments we will always cherish. Choosing a company to remodel your home is a major decision but we always knew we had the right company working with us. Of course there are days when no one is at their best and you are sick of people being in your house and the dust and mess but then at the end you have a wonderful finished custom project that makes it all worthwhile. This team became like family to us. When someone is in your house practically everyday for months and months you are going to get to know them and laugh with them and have disagreements. We never once had to worry about our home or if we weren’t going to be there we knew it was in good hands. Someone from the team always contacted us the night before to say what time they would be there the next morning or if they were waiting on an inspector or a part ordered or whatever they were always in contact with us which was very nice. We went to Disney World during our remodel and never once had to worry what was happening at home. It has been a few months now. Dust has settled. Everything is finished and cleaned up and the house is unpacked and everything put away and it is nice seeing something transform from before to after and for someone to have taken your ideas and things about your home that were not ideal before and make them just the way you wanted. Thank you to the team at Keith Smith Construction for being part of our family this year.

Excellent group to work with! We really appreciated how open they were to our ideas and suggestions and then were able to put them into place to make them work. Very friendly, hard-working group who managed time well to get the project finished on-time, within budget, and as requested. Left our home neat and clean each day and attempted to provide as minimal disruption as possible (while working in our main entryway). Would definitely use their services again in the future, and highly recommend to others.

My husband and I are a retired couple who had no experience in working with a contractor. We heard about this company from an acquaintance, and we were highly pleased with the project they did for us. The workers were friendly and highly skilled and very responsive to any requests that came up during the time they were on site. We would not hesitate to hire them again for future projects.

The KSC team did a wonderful job renovating my bathroom and converting my walk in attic to a bonus room. Wayne, the project manager, was fantastic! He kept us informed along the way and was very respectful of the fact that we were still living/working in the house while the renovations were going on. We have used Keith Smith Construction on two occasions. They completely remodeled three rooms in one visit. That included replacing plaster ceilings with drywall, lighting, molding and painting. The second visit we had them replace nineteen vinyl windows and a storm door. They are very professional and courteous. If I had a question they explained the process in ways I could understand. We have been very pleased with the end result of both projects. They showed up when they said they would be here and on time. A pleasant experience definitely. I highly recommend them.

I had an interesting request for Keith Construction. Not a full remodel. Keith Smith is a great contractor to hire for all of your home improvement needs! Last summer we had an unexpected basement flood that forced us to tear out most of the sheetrock in the main room. So originally we just needed sheetrock put back but ultimately decided to just completely update the basement. We had new paint and flooring in all of the rooms. We also added in a small kitchen for our son and his girlfriend, along with an updated bathroom. Everything was done in a reasonable amount of time considering the size of the project. We would recommend Keith and his crew to anyone looking to update their house!
