Jason and his crew were phenomenal! Our new roof looks fabulous. Jason even repaired the spot on the ceiling inside the house where it had become stained from the old roof leaking. He replaced bad wood where needed on the roofs of both our house and shed. He is professional, honest, trustworthy, very reasonable (his bid came in significantly lower than another) client oriented, respectful, and very personable. I highly recommend him and his hardworking crew. It’s obvious he takes pride in what he does. It’s so nice to be able to sit out on our big porch now that it no longer leaks. We’re extremely happy and satisfied. He and his crew are also mindful of surroundings and take care not to damage any shrubbery etc. They also did a great job of cleaning up.

Could not get Jason to give us a receipt, for the roof he installed. He came when they were almost finished and gave us the price and left before his crew was not completed. We have tried to contact him but get no answer. Be cautious if yu use him.Joson has contacted us and came To work out the issues. He had his crew back out to complete the work. Jason also gave us a receipt

I hired Jason to build a covered porch and patio at the back of my house. I couldn’t be more pleased with my porch and patio! Jason is a wonderful, kind , honest, and very professional gentleman! I had been wanting this done for a long time and Jason gave me the best and most reasonable estimate. The construction was high quality and top notch and I got exactly what I wanted. I had Jason tear down my old wooden deck and replace it with trex. I had paid for the deck to be stained and the railing to be painted several times and I wanted low maintenance. Jason kept me informed every step of the way . I would highly recommend his company! I would definitely use Jason again for future projects! Neighbors have stopped by to admire my new porch and patio and asked for his contact information! Before I received my estimate from Jason , I got 2 other estimates and Jason had the best price! Another local company that seems to be quite popular came out and gave me an estimate that was more than twice Jason’s estimate and they couldn’t even do the roof I wanted, so that wasn’t included in the estimate. That company is ripping people off and they said it would take 6 weeks to build and they couldn’t even start until January 2023. Jason completed my porch and patio in a little over 2 weeks! If you have a roofing need or construction need, You can never go wrong with Jason! I love my new porch and patio and it’s simply beautiful!

Update on my original review. I have enjoyed my new porch for over a year now and I do love it . However, I did not share something in my review last year that I feel is important. I would still recommend Jason as a contractor, but if you hire him for a project that requires a sub contractor for building, do not work with his friend, Steven! This man was so unprofessional and rude . He , obviously, does not respect women. He has a contracting business with his family. His family members were extremely nice . Steven met with Jason and me to discuss my project and the colors I wanted for my roofing , deck , and underpinning. I used Trex. Steven did not write anything down. He messed up 3 times getting the wrong colors and then blamed it on me . He told me the job was taking much longer than he anticipated because of him having to take supplies back and switch them. He said he wasn’t making any money and would have been better off just staying home. I also had Jason sub contract a beautiful patio for me . That was the first thing completed and the guys did a beautiful job . Steven’s crew must have dropped heavy items on it and there were at least 3 damaged stones. One was very noticeable right before you go up my steps. Jason had the subcontractor come out and put some filling in the damage , but the area in front of the steps is still very obvious. Also, I asked for a small gate in the underpinning and Steven made the gate open inside instead of outside instead of asking me how I wanted it done. Who would ever choose opening inside! It’s difficult for me because I have arthritis in my knees to open it and I can’t see what’s behind it . I will never understand why he did that unless it was just easier for him and cheaper . A neighbor came by while Steven was building the porch and was admiring his work . The neighbor asked for a card . Steven gave my neighbor his personal card instead of Jason’s . I told my neighbor to call Jason , not Steven , since I was working with Jason. Steven lied to Jason and said he did not do that. He also told Jason that I asked him to do extra things and would say that I knew it would cost extra. That was another baldfaced lie! The only thing I can figure out as to why he would have said that is Jason told me they would hang my hammock swing and assemble and hang my porch swing and put up some plant hooks . Maybe , Steven thought I was asking him to do extra things! After the porch was completed, Steven had the audacity to call me and ask me for an extra $1,000 because he said he underestimated the job cost. I still would recommend Jason as a contractor, just don’t use Steven!

Mr. Collins & his team did a wonderful job replacing my old leaky roof. It only took them a day to have it all done. His team was efficient, worked hard, did an immaculate job of cleaning up afterwards, & I now have a good roof to last me for years. The price was very reasonable & fair. I would recommend Collins Roofing to everyone I know. I love to find good priced, hard working people that do a great job on home projects! 10 out of 10 for these guys ❤

Collins Roofing did a really nice job with our roof. Before the roofing crew came out, the owner took the time to speak with me about the materials he preferred and was also very knowledgeable about the old shingles we had on the house. The shingle warranty was perfect and the roofing crew worked very hard. The roof looks amazing.

Excellent work at an excellent price! To get a roof replaced in one day (seriously, one day) Jason sends a large crew who work very well together. By dinnertime, the old roof was off, new ridge vents were installed, the new roof went on, the downspouts were cleared, and the yard was cleaned of debris. (My neighbor's roof took about 3 days with the company he hired -- what if it had rained on Day 2?!) At the end of the day, a few neighbors came by to ask him for his card so they could get estimates. Jason's very professional and a pleasure to work with, so we're already discussing more home improvement projects for Collins Roofing & Construction!

I asked Jason to come out and look at my roof. I just bought a house and the roof looked really sketchy even though it was inspected. He noticed several shingles missing and it wasn’t nailed down properly. He came said that he’d be by the following week to put on the new shingles. I went to work and when I got home I had a beautiful new roof. His crew did a wonderful job. They cleaned up well after themselves too. Jason Collins and his crew replaced our (recently) storm-damaged roof and addressed interior water damage to a second-floor ceiling. Remarkably. Jason spent considerable time with our insurance inspector beforehand and without assurance that he would be hired. A steep, complicated roof was replaced efficiently, before more damage could be done and it’s impossible to see where the interior damage occurred. We are both satisfied and impressed with Collins Roofing and Construction.

Our roof was damaged after Hurricane Michael- Collins came out right away to give us a quote. His hardworking team completed our beautiful, new roof quickly and I was very impressed with their clean up. The quality is outstanding and the cost was affordable. We look forward to working with Collins for our next home project!

We hired Jason in 2016 to replace our entire roof. His crew did what appeared to be a good job on the roof,(other than destroying our hinged gutter guards while removing the old roof). In the negotiation process, Jason stated he would fix any leaks that occurred in the next five years.

In 2018, we started getting leaking around the fireplace. Small at first, then during the heavy rain storms literally running down the bricks and dripping from the ceiling. I called Jason and left 2 voice messages over 2 weeks with no response. Finally, Jason answered one of my repeated calls and said to text him my address and he would send his crew. Followed-up twice more by text and phone. Jason finally responded that crew leader would come out on Friday, Nov 16. No one showed and Jason did not respond to my request for an explanation.

Update 11/24/18: Jason finally got one of his roofers to come out on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. He tightened and re-caulked the flashing around the chimney. Rained pretty hard last night and today and no leaking!

Jason explained his situation with being covered up with all the rain and storms and apologized for not being able to get here sooner. I believe his explanation; it was just unfortunate we had so much rain before he could get here. So , I have raised my rating from 2 to 4 stars, since he did return to fix the problem.

I highly recommend Jason and his crew! My daughters ceiling collapsed and insurance was taking longer than Jason and his crew. They got my house done in 2 weeks, replacing every ceiling in my home and painted ever room. My house looks great and the guys were so polite and nice even my neighbor completed them. It's been about a month since they finished the job and not only did they do a great job on the roof but so far I still haven't found any roofing nails laying around in the driveway or in the grass around the house! That is amazing and tells me they really are careful about details! And they were very careful about cleaning up all the trash from their job too-that's not common with most contractors.
UPDATE: Now it's been several months and we've lived through 2 hurricanes with no leaks, no lost shingles, no incidents at all on our new roof. I'm impressed with their workmanship! If you need a roof, I'd give them a call!

They have fair prices, are very dependable and trustworthy. I'm a very particular person and I was very impressed with their workmanship!

Jason Collins did a wonderful job orchestrating his team of roofers and installed a gorgeous new roof at a fair cost. He then helped us get all of our gutters and down spouts replaced and installed gutter guards. He's currently working to redo our retaining wall, a task that can be difficult because of its importance of grade and assurance it will drain properly. I have utmost confidence that this project is going to finish awesome just like the rest!

I was referred to Jason by a friend after hearing he did a great job on their deck and other items. I also got quotes from 2 other companies and Jason had the best price and best customer service. He did a wonderful job on my roof replacement. From quote to the day of the job he kept in contact with me and was very responsive when I had questions. He also quickly scheduled my roof for the following week. His crew was great and I could tell they were careful to prevent damages by covering my deck and other parts of the house with a tarp.
