I love this company! Service should be in their name because they are all about it. Robert got back with me the same day. He resolved minor repair issues that came up on an inspection under the original warranty, when they were under no obligation to repair it. Without his help we would have had closing delays. They take pride in their name and workmanship. I highly recommend this company and will certainly use them again. I have added them to our Remax recommended contractor list.

About 10 years ago my neighbor had his roof redone by K&D Roofing. Work was done in just a couple days and he had no complaints whatsoever.
Couple weeks ago my roof sprung a leak and rather than just repair, it was pushing 15 years old, I decided to go with getting the whole roof redone. I got a reroof estimate from 3 roofers and K&D Roofing was in the middle in price.
I'm glad I went with them. Rob was very thorough with what work was to be done, timely with project updates, and thework took two days to complete. Very happy with the work and K&D Roofing.

When we bought our home in 2022, we had owner Rob come out to inspect the roof. We appreciated that he stated our roof was in good shape and was honest and caring.

We then had a small leak in the garage ceiling and again, Rob came over and found the leak in the roof, fixed it and wouldn’t charge us. My husband insisted on paying him. Rob showed us a great tip in taping a piece of paper towel over the section of the area on the ceiling that had the leak and waiting until the next rain or two. If there is still a leak, the paper towel would get wet. Our paper towel stayed dry so we knew that the leak had been fixed.

When it came time to get a new roof, we knew K&D would be our company. The price was fair and the workers did a thorough and tidy job. Couldn’t have been more pleased and their roof comes with a 10 year warranty.

Well, because K and D has such fair pricing, and since the new roof dropped my insurance, the roof will pay for itself in less than 5 years and then I get 10 years of great savings before I need to call Rob again for my next roof. We used Rob and his team at K&D roofing to replace our roof at our beach home 7 years ago and they were fabulous from start to finish. Our roof is beautiful and the workmanship is top notch. Turns out it was not a roofing issue but a different problem with a vent and although he did not have to help us, Rob diagnosed and fixed the problem. I purchased a home whose roof was done my k&d. I called about 9 months ago inquiring about something. They were very responsive and called be back within the hour. Now today I had an emergency or what I felt was an emergency. With heavy rain last night I started having leaking in my bedroom coming in from the ceiling. The roof is a year old. I called first thing this morning at 9 and was told the message would get sent to office. I called back two hours later and asked what the turn around time is for calls due to not receiving one back. I was told 24hrs. My husband called again two times and then myself at 4 and 445. No one has called me back. Rain is projected to come this evening. More damage that could have been avoided is going to happen. This is inexcusable.

Needed a repair for my roof, was quoted 1400$ by one company. Another company was only interested in scamming my homeowners insurance. Trae came at a looted appt time, gave roof a very thorough inspection and price was not even 1/4 th of previous quote. I am set for repair in approx 2 weeks. I am totally satisfied with my my recent experience with K and D Roofing. When Rob came to give me an estimate , he noticed my chimney had no squirrel guard. So he climbed back up on the roof and installed a temporary cover for my peace of mind.

BEFORE YOU GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS, PLEASE, READ THIS!

About a year ago, I gave this company great feedback when I was contacted by Rob and asked if I could put a few nice words for K&D. I did not mind.. but I SPOKE TOO SOON. Here is what I have been dealing with since MAY 13th till the current day! Yes, it has been almost 6 months.

I made a BIG mistake paying money to K&D roofing without checking the work. Went on total trust. From the first glance, roof looked good. However, when I had a detailed inspection, I noticed that while installing the roof, installers completely damaged the Hardie board sidings of the house that are attached to the garage, broke the brick and did not correctly install flashing causing the wood under the roof to decay.

Work was still under the warranty, From May 13th till today, October 28th , I have contacted K&D roofing a total of 22 times. I had 2 official appointments scheduled. First appointment Rob called and told me that his tire blew up and he cannot come over. I rescheduled. Second appointment, he did not show up again and said that he twisted his foot but will show up a few days later. There was no show. I texted him, no answers. I started calling the company and was just giving excuse after excuse. I contacted the company through the portal, but no one called me. I called the company and was told that someone would call me back, but this never happened. I have a compiled list of all the no-shows and excuses this company gave me within these 6 months.

On July 15th, someone from the K&D company called me and told me that he would show up the next day. We agreed on 8AM. The next day I got a call from the person saying he was running late. He finally showed up at 8:30, and here is the story I got.

K&D roofing is NOT RESPONCIBLE for collateral damage. They are responsible for the roof, but if they damage something while at it, it is not their fault. I was told that it is mentioned in the contract that I signed. So, the fact that they damaged the siding of the house broke the brick did not count because it is NOT THE ROOF.

He told me that yes, it was his crew that was working there, and they had a hard time pulling old roof and installing the new roof, and that is why it happened. There was not even an apology of any kind. He also inspected the back area of the garage where siding and garage connect and where I had a horribly decaying wood and told me that he would follow up with Rob and would be in touch. That was on July 16th. That was my contact #22 with this company. I heard NOTHING back from July 16th.

I have a year warranty with K&D.. but what good does it do if they do not show up or are basically giving you an excuse for not fixing what they broke? This is the second time I have been replacing the roof on my property. The first time, when I used a different company, there was NO ISSUES. When I mentioned this to the person who came in on July 16th, all he told me is that this is because “code changed”. So, I guess, 15 years ago "codes where better," and the company I used that time did not damage my property. This time "it is different codes."
So, I guess it is OK for K&D damage someone’s property. It is ok for K&D to avoid customers by not responding to any kind of communications 22 times while the customer is still in warranty.

Funny thing, I recommended this company before to my friends and relatives who did the roofs with K&D as well. Would you think that this company would respect their loyal customers and referrals they get from them? The answer is BIG FAT NO!!! Once they get the money, they absolutely do not care.

I wish there were negative stars.. but "1 star" is the smallest, so I have no choice but to give them 1 start.

The initial contact with this company was very professional and I got a one-inch binder with all the paperwork and list of certificates and licenses the day I agreed to have them do my roof. The representative set a date for the roof to be completed. The crew dropped the materials off the day before, showed up on the promised date and completed all the work within the day including clean up. They also followed up and personally dropped off the wind mitigation and made sure I promptly received the certificate of completion to provide to my HOA and Insurance Company. I would highly recommend this business. They are professional and do quality work.

K&D Roofing is a very professional company and did exactly what they promised when they promised to do it. The quality of the work was excellent!

From the moment I spoke with Trae I knew I wanted K&D to do my roof replacement. Out of 7 roofers that answered my calls, they were the only ones that came prepared with a book, which was very informative, that helped me understand what I needed to look out for and ask about.
Once the supplies came and the storm passed, my roof was finished in one in a half days and looks great! They covered the grounds well and even walked around with magnetic wands before they left. The following day another crew member came by with a magnetic sweeper and coned the front and back making sure my yard was totally cleared of debris. Then when they came to pickup the garbage dump truck they magnetically swept it again making sure everything was cleaned up.
I was totally pleased with their workers and work. Throughout the work days various crew members came to inspect and make sure the work was getting done properly. I was in awe just seeing how orderly and coordinately this company operated. I highly recommend the K&D Roofing company. They're local, friendly, and very professional.

We have used K&D Roofing to replace the rooves on three of our rental houses and now our own home. The whole process was very smooth from the initial quote to the final clean up and only took a month beginning to end. Multiple roof leaks, very slow to respond, and just found out they didn't pull a permit, so my home owners canceled my policy thinking my roof was 40 years old. It's actually 15 years old. They refuse to do anything to make it right. I would not use this business.

After the year end storm, the winds damaged the shingles over front porch of main house and some vinyl soffit blew off. Rob came out and provided a fair estimate and got the work completed asap. I have worked with his team for a few years and they consistently provide great service.

I’m a new homeowner in Jax Beach and I unfortunately found a leak on my kitchen ceiling this week. I called a few different roofers, but K&D was prompt and able to get me on the schedule the next day for an estimate.

Trey and Rob arrived on-time and were very professional. Best of all, they were able to fix the issue during the same visit! 30 minutes in and out. They showed me pictures of what the problem was and explained how they fixed it.

Called them and they came out so quickly and figured out the problem. Not the roof but the A/C. I am so happy my husband and I chose a wonderful company that takes care of their customers. We needed a new roof. After evaluating 3 companies (in Jacksonville), we were most impressed with Rob's professionalism. We selected K & D. Then they met their start & completion dates. Rob came & inspected the completed product. He was not happy with a couple of items & immediately got them fixed. He also went into our attic & made sure there was no dampness there. There was one interesting event. Many months later we had high winds. I was mowing the lawn & noticed this disc like object on the ground. Scratched my head - "what the heck is that?" I wondered. Turned out it was the chimney chase pan. Got blown off by the high winds. I called Rob & even though it was about 8 months since he did the roof, he came out to check this out. He made 2 trips to fix this. One was to paint this & the other to install it when paint was dry. When complete, I asked him how much should I pay him. He charged me ZERO dollars. Terrific company, good guy & I strongly recommend him

We noticed a leak in our roof during a rainstorm and we called K&D roofing and they came out the NEXT day to take a look at it. (I thought we were going to have to wait a lot longer for the consultation) What I thought was going to be a huge problem turned out to be a raised nail and broken plywood he found immediately. Juan was super professional and courteous. He had a lot of information to give and I, knowing nothing about roofs, was able to understand it all. We are so thankful we chose K& D! They have been a pleasure to work from the start and have stood by us throughout the process. Rob was very helpful with the design of our roof and the installation was on both right on time and right on budget! Our quote from K&D was far better than other companies in our area for the same roof! To this day, the roof is beautiful and perfect! On two occasions, I have asked Rob for advice with some non roof window and gutter issues on the roof. He returned my call the same day and actually came by and personally inspected the roof and assisted with solving my window problems. He took photos on the roof and texted them to my to give to our window and gutter company free of charge! Our roof still looks fantastic and remains free of problems.
