From beginning to end, Kats, construction and Tom were excellent communicators.He listened to what we wanted and brought our vision to life. We love our bathroom, an can't thank them enough. We highly recommend them.

Absolutely fantastic to work with. Tom and his team are amazing and really know what they’re doing. They worked with us through all of our ideas and questions and were awesome at helping us achieve our dream and still keep things within budget. There was never a “no we can’t do that”, but always a “might cost a little more but here’s how we can make it happen”, without any pressure! Tom himself was super hands-on the whole time and super responsive. 10/10 will be reaching out to Kat’s for our next project!

We had a shower with a jaquzzi tub replaced with a walk in shower. Love the new shower. Tom and his team did an outstanding job. Tom kept us informed of the work schedule and who would be working. I highly recommend Tom and his team at Kats Construction.

Tom has been amazing to work with, he prices fairly and makes sure you are happy before the project is done. The subcontractors were all so nice and very respectful. I worked from home during most of the projects and the noise was minimal considering all the work they did! Absolutely love my home now and can't thank Tom and his team enough!

Tom and team recently completed a remodel above our garage. They were absolutely amazing. Tom and the team were second to none when it came to communication throughout the project. We always knew where we were in the process and they delivered on their promises. Everyone was beyond professional and always cleaned up after a job was done.

There were a few curveballs through the process due to in knows and Tom and team were quick to pivot and deliver on what we needed.

10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to have work completed. We will absolutely be looking to Katz Construction & Remodel for future work.

Tom was a pleasure to work with. We had started a Hardie board siding project with another contractor that did not end up working out.

Tom and his crew came in, took over and finished the job to the highest standards. They also replaced all of the trim on the whole house. He is a great communicator, honest and fair.

Construction projects never go as planned, but the mark of a good contractor is how they handle themselves in the challenging moments. Tom is a class act and has restored our faith that good contractors exist!

I can’t say enough about how professional, skilled and helpful Tom and his subcontractors were to work with. There was great communication throughout the process as well as a little “hand holding” needed to help me navigate the insurance company’s process (damaged property) which I truly appreciated! I have a few more projects lined up and will only call Tom for all projects in the future!

It was a pleasure to work with Tom Kats and his team. We did an attic remodel and we're extremely pleased with the end product. Everything came out perfect. Tom worked with us from day one to make sure every aspect of the project was accounted for. He does an amazing job of keeping the project on schedule and works with clients to provide up-to-date status every week. There are no surprises with Tom. On a final note, Tom was extremely flexible with our family as we were undergoing cancer treatment during the remodel. He worked with us to ensure that our family was not affected with the various elements of construction that needed to happen. Thanks to advance notice, our family was able to make arrangements on days scheduled for demolition, insulation install and flooring. Our family is currently enjoying the attic and working towards furnishing and decorating our new space. We're extremely pleased with our new space, every element was accounted for - from the important elements such as HVAC, roofing, insulation to the small details of door craftsmanship, custom shelving, railings, flooring, wall color and ceiling detail make every corner of our new attic space a place that brings joy and happiness to our family. I knew I wanted to work with Tom the moment I met him. He is enthusiastic, professional and full of wonderful ideas (if money was unlimited, I'd have done everything he envisioned).

Tom was upfront and honest about the costs, ensuring to outline everything, educate me on the order of the work to be done to ensure I wouldn't overpay or double pay.

His team is fantastic as well: painting, tiling, plumbing, electrician and everything in between.

My house was in safe hands while under Tom's care. I had the possiblity to get work done before moving in, and even though the house was empty, Tom and his team were very professional, responsible and took great care of my house.

I live in a house with a very large cathedral ceiling. For the last 10 years I’ve been wanting to put in a wooden ceiling. Tom from Kats Construction & Remodeling were the only ones who returned my call. Tom & his crew are craftsmen at what they do.
Right from the start everyone was on time everyday, professional, friendly & very knowledgeable on what they were doing.
Each step of remodeling my ceiling was explained to me so there would be no surprises. The crew cleaned up everyday & checked with me if it was to my satisfaction!! Wow!!
When there was a problem ( the holes to hold the pendant lights were not cut correctly) Tom was at my house in less than an hour to see the problem & explained how it was going to be fix & by who & when.
I can’t say enough good things about this company. Kats Construction & Remodeling are the best.

Kats Constuction & Remodel Co. Came through for me and my house remodel. Tom and his talented and dedicated staff did a fantastic job. After conducting a search for a contractor, we went with Kats Construction due to their estimate and also their willingness to work around our particular situation at home.

It was the right choice. These guys are good. Their workmanship and professionalism is great, they're friendly, easy to work with, and always cleaned up after themselves.

I highly recommend them, and in fact, when we (hopefully) do the next phase of renovations next Spring, we will be calling on them again!

They built our new back porch, removed old ceilings from two rooms, replaced those ceilings, installed lighting and a ceiling fan, did interior drywall installation and painting, replaced a few indoor doors, and took care of a small unrelated issue that happened with the underside of our dining room. Even that unexpected issue was reasonably priced and easily folded into our original estimate.

Definitely a great bunch of guys; will definitely use again!

Kats Construction refinished my bathroom in 2017. It was gutted, enlarged, and rebuilt. I also had my kitchen and hallway flooring replaced in 2022 by them. All work was done quickly and professionally. Tom is experienced and great to work with as a GC. The people that work with him did a great job. Tom is always quick to respond and meet your needs. I recommend Kats Construction to everyone.

Midway through 2022 I was looking to get some work done in our kitchen and bathroom. We had an idea of what we wanted to do but, were not sure how to get it all done. I happened upon Tom and KATS Construction and boy was I happy to find them. Tom made an appt to come out, see our house, talk to us about what we thought we would like done and he answered all our questions. As the project went along, Tom kept us informed on "next steps" , gave us a heads up whenever one of the workers would be coming to the house and he always checked in after work was done to be sure we were satisfied. Each and every worker that came out was polite, pleasant and efficient. Work was done on time and they cleaned up after themselves at each and every visit. The renovations were completely stress-free for us which is amazing! If you are looking for quality, professional work, then look no further than KATS Construction. They are amazing!!

I used Kats Construction for a full bathroom remodel. Tom really took the time to go through the project plan with me, and was patient with my questions, and also provided his insight as I ordered various items for the project. I was so impressed with his whole team as well - they were all clearly experts in their respective areas, and were communicative with me as well as each other; they really worked as one cohesive team. Tom and his team also protected the full surrounding area to the bathroom to ensure nothing would be damaged. Due to prior work done before we moved in, Tom and his team ran into unexpected challenges when gutting the bathroom and I was really impressed at the solutions they came up with and how communicative they were and patient in their explanations and proposed solutions. The final result was perfect, highlighting their attention to detail and finishing touches. The quality is unmatched and their prices are competitive (with no hidden/"extra" costs even when they had to make changes based on the unexpected challenges incurred), but I would honestly pay more for Tom and his team as they don't take any shortcuts and they all strive for perfection (and they were a true pleasure to work with). Thank you so much to Tom and his whole team - the new bathroom is perfect! I already have Tom coming to assess the next project (and there are many more to come in the future - I won't be calling anyone except Tom going forward!)

We used Kats Construction to put up a new deck this summer. The owner Tom explained everything in detail regarding materials needed, the scope of the project, cost, etc. Alex did an amazing job installing the deck and his craftsmanship and attention to detail are top notch. We would highly recommend Kats Construction.

Tom and his team did a complete kitchen remodel. The project was seamless from start to finish. Everyone showed up on or ahead of time. Throughout the project, Tom communicated very clearly where we were and what the next steps were (with dates and times). Tom also facilitated the purchase and installation of the cabinets and granite countertop which was very helpful.

We recently had a very large bathroom remodel done by Tom and the team from Kats Construction. The quality of work done by the team was excellent, and Tom kept in frequent communication via calls and texts throughout the project. The cost was very reasonable, and Tom worked with us through several changes in plan that occurred throughout the project. This was a fairly complicated job with a lot of custom work, and Tom continuously worked to make sure every detail was taken care of exactly how we wanted, and to keep us at ease throughout the project. It’s hard to find people who take the time to get the job done right and take pride in their work, but Tom and his team are definitely those types. I highly recommend Kats Construction for this type of job.

I had a new deck put in summer of 2012 and a new roof put in summer of 2013 kats construction was very professional and very reasonable in there price job only took 3 days for the deck and 1 day for the roof i will be using them in the future for more work!!!
