Jess is an amazing employee. A few months ago, I was shopping at Ace Hardware and suddenly became ill and had to go to the hospital. Jess was there for me in my time of need, offering genuine care and help when I needed it most.

Since then, whenever I visit Ace, I always make sure to stop and speak with her, and I always ask for her assistance. She is consistently friendly, professional, and ready to help with anything I need.

Jess truly goes above and beyond. She deserves recognition, an award, and a raise for the incredible service she provides. Ace Hardware is lucky to have her on their team!

Great place has everything you really need. Great selection for grills and so many choices for rubs and sauces. Only disappointment was we didn’t get to meet their cat

I had a big dilemma on an irrigation system. I couldn't figure out how to get the right parts to solve my problem. Bill offered me help and he had an answer for me. I had already been there 20 minutes, trying to figure out and he came along and solved the problem easily.

This morning was my first time going into Ace Hardware, I had the greatest experience, the workers was just absolutely awesome, soon I walked in they greeted me with the warm welcome, Victoria cashier, was just tremendous, and Del helped me get my house key ️ made he was a wonderful and very professional, Seth think he was a manager , he was just absolutely great the entire store is awesome I will definitely be back thank you for great experience Kevin Jackson,

Absolutely the best staff. Answering the phone when you call too helping in store. I was even assisted loading my smoker. 10/10

I have been coming here for about 4 years. Everytime the employees go above and beyond to help me solve problems and find the things I need. Today I got helped by Lee, LEE is AWESOME. He went buzz light year to INFINITY AND BEYOND. Helped us diagnose a problem we had. We walked out with a game plan with his recommendation. (Unless I mess it up myself).

Clean store and the staff was super nice. Great price on the items we purchased. Support the Maricopa Lions Club. Get a raffle ticket on the way out. Located in the plaza near Walgreens, this Ace Hardware is our go to for tools and other home needs.

I shop at Ace Hardware for two reasons. The first is that they usually have the correct parts for my home and other homes in the area in stock at the store when I need them. And the second is that I receive coupons to apply to my purchases over $20.00 every month. Occasionally, I even get a $5.00 coupon which I can apply to any amount that I spend in the store.

Love this ACE! Nothing like the feeling, smell, aurora, and cozy hometown feel of a hardware store of ol'. They are always well stocked! The staff is always friendly as well as helpful. The staff doesn't make you feel like you are interrupting their day when you need assistance, They also do not act like they are "know it alls" in all things hadware like at those big box stores. 10 stars!

I love all the Ace Hardwares that keep cats in the store. Makes my day to have cats to pet plus all the friendly helpful employees. Love Ace Hardwares.

This Ace was so friendly and SO helpful! I get really anxious when I have to ask for help, and they didn't make me feel bad about it or that I was being an inconvenience (like many stores do). Del stepped in and helped me with my christmas tree lights cord that my cat chewed through. They didn't have a replacement so he fixed the cord himself. And it worked Del! Thank you soooo much!

Love that everyone is able to assist. Feels like a personalized experience v the big box stores.

Also was great to learn they offer chainsaw sharpening if your chain is in good shape.

Wile in the area needed couple of things for our house, stopped in with a bit of help got the items needed.

Extremely disappointed and frustrated. Been going here for paint ever since we moved to AZ 3 years ago, have done all our house renovations with Ace. Recently ran out of a color we’ve bought a bunch of times, went in and got a new one like I usually do. Got busy with kids back to school, then when I went to paint again noticed the color wasn’t right. Went back to make it right and they refused to fix their mistake when you can see clearly we’ve purchased 10 plus times. Told us no without the old can before? Makes no sense, especially as a loyal customer. Makes me not wanna buy anymore paint but if they mess up again, then I’m out money once again. Extremely frustrated and disappointed!

Karsten's Ace Hardware has a great location in Maricopa. I think it's an important store seeing that it's the only hardware store in Maricopa. This store is always clean, and the aisle is tidy. Staff are friendly and helpful, and this ACE seems to have everything, lol, hardware related on not. Keep up the good work ACE.

i usually buy from ACE for little projects, and Knick knacks , and this time around, i bought a screen door for my sliding patio door, well once the young man handed me the screen(still wrapped up in the original package) i left it in my garage for 2 days ,and when i brought it inside to take off the packaging, i notice there was a sm HOLE/RIP near the middle edge, i didn't want to take the screen back just for that(in which i should had) so i bought a screen repair tape from ACE, and that doesn't really work & i notice that one of the wheels are loose more than when i loosen up the screw, so hopefully i can get one of my friends to help me in fixing these problems and installing this soon. but i think I'm going to be driving to HOME DEPOT Chandler for now on just because

UPDATE: Have our reinforced patio screen door. It looks great! Feels pretty good. They did the best job they could to reinforce a lesser quality screen door than we had. It's summer, so not using it yet to give it the full test (sliding screen door back & forth). Had we known this would be a lesser quality screen door (frame not as wide) than the original builder screen, we would of did better research to find a more high quality screen door company That would That would go for oversized doors. Overall, except for communication about 'door ready for pick up", the screen door company they use did a seeminly good job...cooler weather will be the test of having our doors open & sliding the screen door. Ace is a good store. High prices but customer chk-out is fast & super friendly. Hope they'll be able to compete w/the big box stores coming soon.

Original Post: Ordered new patio screen. Took 6 weeks. They never called to say it was in. We had to stop in. New screen poor quality. Had to send back to get reinforced. Waited more weeks. Stopped in to inquire. Waited at service desk 5 mins before I went down the isle to ask employee, who had seen me waiting, if someone was working service desk. He says 'I can help you'. First thought was...so, why didn't you help when you saw me at the desk! Incredible. He said they called us to say it was in. Lie. We checked. Think this was isolated 'employee' issue...maybe having a bad day but unfortunately for him, I was too. Cashier Checkout is always 100% perfect. Can't wait for Lowe's & Depot.

I have been a resident of Maricopa for 20 years. I've used ACE hardware for all of my home improvement needs. The paint service at this location is not good, they aren't friendly and always act like they don't want to be there. I was so happy when Sherwin Williams opened up.

Today, I needed some wood cut, and of course, I had no choice but to head to ACE. Jesse dragged his feet to the back of the store to unhappily assist me. I didn't even get the pieces I needed for the task at home. I'll have to head into Chandler when I get a chance. I'll be so excited when Home Depot opens up in Maricopa.
Are people not expecting to "work" when they come to work? What's with the horrible customer service?

Teresa was very helpful and friendly. She was polite and made check out fun and quick. We found everything that we need in the store, and even more…

This is one of the friendliest stores in Maricopa, Arizona. Old fashion hardware service is what Karsten’s has delivered each time we have visited. We joined the VIP club and now accumulate points for purchases, and our receipts so if we do have to return anything, we don’t need to bring receipts. Prices are very fair on most items, including lumber. So happy to have this gem so close to home!

Small Time Store with Big Time Personality and an Expansive Selection. Their Staff was also Very Kind, and Helpful.
They Carry Lawn, and Garden Products, Sprinkler Supplies, Painting Supplies, Electrical Supplies, Power Tools, Nut and Bolt Hardware, Drywall, and a Lot More...

Helpful and knowledgeable staff that can answer questions and offer suggestions or ideas. Very convenient and locally owned which is a big plus

The friendliest ACE around! They are very helpful and kind. We really appreciate the help we get every time we come in with another home improvement project. They always have what we're looking for!

I needed some batteries i never purchased before and got immediate help..and some seeds I couldn't find anywhere in the town..

Ace is a great local hardware store in Maricopa. Professional and friendly staff. They have more in this store than you'd anticipate.

Staff is helpful.... Prices seem a bit high..
I don't really care for all the stuff they have around the front door when you're trying to walk in.. you have to dodge the Halloween stuff that's going to hit you in the face if you don't duck...
