My inspector hired Nate to do a pre-listing inspection on my client’s tile roof. He said everything looked great and said he’d give us a report if we needed it. We went under contract and our buyers didn’t use a roofing expert to look at the roof so the general home inspector called out things Nate did not. I forwarded the report to Nate and asked him to give us a report. Less than 12 hours later he replied the inspector didn’t know what he was looking at and he’d send me a report. It has been 3 weeks since he told me he’d send me the report and to this day I still have not received. I called his office and cell phone almost everyday plus texts and emails and haven’t heard a peep from him. I even asked his receptionist if he was ok, because I honestly thought the only reason someone wouldn’t get back to a customer was that they were hospitalized. But no, he’s working just not calling people back. I also left a voicemail with Dane and never heard back. Giving the report to the buyers was a condition of our inspection resolution. Fortunately the buyers agent was also not hearing back from Nate and understood. I have no idea how someone can run a business like this. Even on my busiest days I get back to people within 24 hours. The guy can’t even get some a report that he promised. I will never recommend KC Roofscapes to my clients.

I was referred to Kansas City Roofscapes from my home inspector. They came out, looked at the roof, and suggested I fix it myself for cheaper.

It rained shortly thereafter and the roof still leaked, so I called back and asked them to fix it. After months of no contact and me reaching out about five different times, I elected to use a different service.

They were so helpful to come out on a holiday weekend to help us after storm damage. Fast, affordable and friendly!

I had KC Roofscapes do extensive repairs to my Spanish tile roof several years ago and they did excellent work. I recently called them to look at a hole made by a racoon. All of the other roofers who looked at my leaking problem just wanted to sell me a new roof. Skyler from KC Roofscapes was much different because he knew what to look for. He knew that my leaking problem was not due to a 17 year old roof, it was because the ridge vent was never installed correctly. So, a problem about 20 feet away is what was causing the leak. Skyler's quote was quite reasonable and he showed up early and had the problem repaired within 3 hours. Basically, he installed a new ridge vent and did a couple of other minor repairs. He is a true professional and the experience really taught me that repairing a roof is more of an ART than just fixing what might be obvious. I just wish that I called him first before wasting money on another repair service that only did the obvious. It just goes to show, you have to KNOW what you are looking for. I will certainly give Skyler and KC Roofscapes an opportunity to bid on my new roof when it does come time to replace it. How can you go wrong? KC Roofscapes was the only roofer who gave me a 3 year absolute warranty that their repair would work or they would be happy to come back and fix it FREE. Wow, that is when you know that THEY know what they are talking about! So, if you roof is leaking, just call Skyler first and save yourself some time and some money!!
