We were looking for a contractor to manage our primary bathroom remodel. Based on recommendations from our suppliers we went with Matt from K& M.

Matt has been our go-to contractor for 10 years and has done multiple jobs on our house, large and small. We were in the middle of planning a major kitchen remodel when a pipe burst and damaged the majority of our home. Matt and his team were lifesavers, coming out on a Sunday morning to assess the damage and immediately started triaging. Matt was a pro at organizing such a major job, keeping track of every detail, doing highest quality work, with great communication and responsiveness to requests, even doing the heavy lifting with our insurance company and keeping our spirits up throughout a really difficult time. We love our "new" home, and the kitchen is gorgeous. Very grateful to Matt for all he does.

I recently contracted with Matt (K&M Building and Remodeling) to renovate my kitchen and am very pleased with the results. Without fail, his sub-contractors showed up on time or early. The dangerous wiring issues found in the room were fixed. Matt was mindful of my budget and discussed all changes with me. Previously, K&M did a reno in my bathroom. I love those results, too!

After working with Matt on a successful kitchen remodel a few years ago, we brought him back in to do a family room reno. As expected, the results were top notch, and he made the experience as stress-free as possible. Matt worked with us every step of the way to make sure the room was reflecting our overall vision, and his organization and timelines kept things on track. Looking back, I am so glad we hired Matt to do our kitchen remodel. He made the process fairly easy and coordinated everything seamlessly. He was good at explaining the issues he came across as he tore out and redid our entire kitchen. And his attention to detail is amazing. I would definitely recommend K&M.

Matt and his guys did an awesome job remodeling my bathroom. He was great communicating with me on issues that he found and made suggestions to correct and modify to get it done correctly. I hired K&M Rebuilding for a basement renovation after this (very wet) summer. Wow! From our initial meeting all the way through final inspection, I've never had a more conscientious, thorough, and communicative contractor. All of the work from drywall to electrical, retiling, ceiling replacement, and code updates, was very clean, extremely professional, and done ON TIME and on budget! I couldn't believe how quickly the space transformed, particularly with the supply chain troubles of the Covid era. Most importantly, Matt kept us 100% updated with the progress of the project. Any time there was a question, a snag (you know... old houses), or the potential for a better option, he was up front with the issue and his solutions. The end result was nothing short of fantastic. I would not hesitate to contract K&M again for any other work in my home. If you're looking for a great contractor - look no further, you will not be disappointed.

Matt was wonderful. Very conscientious, organized and professional. Matt and his crew gutted our bathroom and replaced with tile, new vanity, mirror and toilet. His scheduling was perfect. Workers showed when scheduled and at the right time. Everything fell into place with no hidden costs. I will be calling him again in the spring. The bathroom is beautiful,

First let me start by saying that our project was completed right before the pandemic hit. So, we have been meaning to share our experience for quite some time.
Matt remodeled our two full bathrooms. In comparison of the before and after, it’s like night and day and they are unrecognizable. In fact, I can’t even remember what our former bathrooms looked like before because our new bathrooms certainly make the old ones forgettable. They are exquisite! Exactly what we asked for and more.
Matt was professional and informative. We asked a lot of questions and he answered with great detail and patience. He always confirmed what we wanted before finalizing anything.
If you are looking to remodel don’t look anywhere else. Matt is the man for you and all of your remodeling needs.

Our kitchen remodel is complete and we couldn’t be happier! What began as some water damage in one cabinet ultimately exposed a much larger issue, requiring the replacement of pretty much the entire kitchen (cabinets, countertops and drywall). Matt was responsive to our needs and concerns throughout the entire project, working with our insurance company and providing options within our budget. He was organized, meticulous and left the house in great condition after each days work. We hired Matt for a master bathroom remodel and also installed an air bath system. We could not have been happier. One of the first things we noticed was his promptness and responsiveness. Most contractors have difficulties keeping appointments or returning calls, not Matt, he was always a pleasure to deal with. His contract was easy to understand and he spelled out everything and always discussed any possible changes and effects on cost. Very honest contractor. His quality of work was awesome, all his sub contractors were just as great and easy to deal with. Overall the experience with Matt and his crew was outstanding. Now my parents are looking at Matt for their bathroom remodel and we hope to hire again soon for a kitchen remodel.

Matt of K&M building and remodeling just finished removing old, outdated, and drafty windows in my three season sunroom and replaced with new Harvey windows. From start to finish Matt was excellent. He was always on time and listened to what I wanted, while offering possible suggestions that might make the project come out better. In addition, he was always responsive to calls and emails, and never made me feel like a bother. I believe it is important for all contractors to make clients feel like they are not alone during a home remodeling project and Matt was there 100%. I will without hesitation be calling Matt for any future projects that I will do to my home big or small.

My home renovation was very unexpected due to a leak in my kitchen which resulted in a complete gutting of my kitchen.

Being a senior citizen, it was a relief to have someone honest and reliable and not worry about being taken advantage of.

From the start, Matt was very professional. He dealt with the insurance company, made sure everything was going to be covered, supplied Detailed cost estimates and payment schedule prior to signing contract. Any changes or additions needed , a written change order with pricing was supplied. No surprises. Always on time and available by texts and phone.

The work Matt personally did was very high quality. He loves what he does and wants his clients to be happy. He cleaned up after himself and didn’t leave a mess. His extended crews (electrician, plumber, cabinetry, etc ) are excellent and all have years of experience. They do not cut corners.

I WAS NOT AN EASY CLIENT. (Not purposely). Unfortunately, I had a hard time making decisions and unexpected things came up in this old house. Matt was patient, respectful and I’m sure at times frustrated, but he got the job done. The kitchen looks beautiful as well as ALL the other things that were done.

I will definitely hire K &M again if needed and highly recommend Matt for large or small jobs.

We worked with K&M on a master bathroom remodel. Matt was very easy to work with. He kept us updated on when projects were being completed and finished the project on time. Matt immediately responded to text messages and cleaned up the project each day. Matt had good ideas on how to enlarge our shower. He made it easy to be down one bathroom with two teenage girls. We love how the bathroom turned out and would highly recommend K&M.

K & M Building and remolding removed an old second story deck and replaced it with a new, sturdy deck. Work was very professional and done in a timely manner. Price was fair and area was left cleaner then when they arrived. Matt also came up with a great idea to move the stairs to give us more patio area under the deck. I already have recommended K & M to a family member.

I have used K & M building for a few projects around my house. Matt is quick to respond to emails/phone calls, gives great advise on how to make a project better, and overall does amazing work. I plan to keep using this company for all my indoor/outdoor house projects for years to come.

Matt was amazing!! Fully understood and gave advice and ideas for my minor remodel project. He is very professional, personable and trustworthy. He does fantastic work as well. We had our fridge location moved, trim rwplaced and fireplace painted. It came out so great! He had his plumber and electician coordinated to do work and they were excellent and professional.
