I got quotes from many different roofers. Jordan River was the best price with the most included and a high quality shingle. For this reason alone, I'd recommend them to others. The service was done professionally and timely.

We had an issue with leftover nails in the yard, but after I reached out to the owner, he sent a crew back over to clean up and showed up in person to apologize for the trouble.

All in all, it was a good experience. I don't think clean up is normally an issue (I think they just forgot this time). Would recommend.

I don’t think I have ever been treated so fairly by a company before. Phil came out and beat 3 other roofing companies by a landslide plus worked with my insurance company to get everything done correctly. His crew was respectful and worked really hard, even coming back if things still needed to be done. I will be referring everybody the needs a new roof to Phil.

They were on time, did great work, had reasonable pricing and were great with communication. I would highly recommend them. Phil and his team did a great job with my roof. He told me they could complete tearing off two layers of shingles and installing my new shingles in one day. None of the other proposals I received offered this. They were able to complete the project in one day and thoroughly cleaned up after. I did have to initiate most of the communication to make sure the project stayed on track, but I’ve found I have to do that will all contractors, no matter what kind of work I’m having done. We had a situation where we switched insurance policies and the new company sent a guy out to inspect our house and long story short we had some wind damage and they were going to cancel our policy. We had 3 weeks to get a new roof. We did the diligent thing and had 6 companies out to give quotes. They all said that filing an insurance claim on the old policy would be fruitless... Don't even bother. We were going to be paying 10-15k out of pocket and we were so sad.

Then we met Phil, the owner of Jordan River Roofing.

He actually took time asking the right questions and after discussing with him the finer points of our situation, he said we should file a claim. He said there were no guarantees but he offered to speak to the insurance company on our behalf AND when their rep was sent to our house to inspect our roof more closely, Phil showed up early and was on our roof, circling in chalk, and labeling every bit of damage. He made sure that nothing was overlooked and the insurance company approved our claim.

That's just the beginning. Phil understood we had a deadline and he worked with us to make sure our roof was done by the necessary date. The day of the installation, he and his crew were on our roof at 7:30 A.M. and gone by 4 P.M. We had a brand new, beautiful roof.

There was absolutely no scraps, no trash, no nails anywhere on our property. His crew walked around the whole perimeter of the house with big magnets to make sure they were all picked up. The point is... everything was perfect.

So without Phil, we would have a new roof, but we would be out of $15,000. We couldn't be happier with our roof and we couldn't be more grateful for the effort and service on our behalf.

JRR is a gem in the roofing industry. After interviewing Philip(the owner) I was immediately sold on his knowledge, experience, honest demeanor and a very reasonable price point. He took the time to explain the new technologies and installations of roofing from the past 30 years to the present. For example, other roof bidders were more expensive and didn't even include the new ridge venting system. These bidders wanted to keep the old inefficient turtle vents, slap the roof on and run. Wonderful experience with Jordan River Roofing. Our roof had to be completely redone, a total tear off of the old shingles with new underlayment, and new high-quality shingles, new 3 vents, 2 chimneys expertly roofed around them, a soffit, gutter area properly repaired. The new roof really shines! Phil was very professional, and explained in detail what had to be done. He had a folder with a detailed contract, and other papers related to the roofing job. His crew did a complete clean up each day, although the new roof took only 1.5 days. Phil was very easy to work with, pleasant, friendly. Really delighted with the new roof, looks great! I chose to use Jordan River Roofing because of the professional presentation of the team and the costs were explained very clearly and inline with what my budget was. The start date was chosen and the work started and was completed within two days. The only holdup was the fact that the roof caps weren't available. As soon as the caps were ready, the work was done within one hour. I would definitely recommend Jordan River Roofing.
