JM Construction just remodeled my home office. Even though it was probably a “smaller” project compared to the type of work they usually do, the entire JM team made me feel like I was their most important client.

Communicative, committed to staying within our budget, and extremely clean and meticulous with every aspect, our Project Manager, Steven, went above and beyond to minimize disruptions for my family and complete the project on schedule. And he was a joy to interact with. I couldn't be happier with my refreshed office that allows me to run my small business more efficiently, and will enlist JM Construction again for future home renovations. They exceeded all expectations, and I highly recommend JM for anyone considering a home renovation project.

We were in desperate need of an exterior refresh in the backyard including replacement of our existing wood deck that was in need of a facelift. We selected JM Construction to help us with a new deck remodel including composite deck materials, new railings and stairs. They provided us with excellent material suggestions and helped walk us through the design and construction process. Even though the project was scheduled for March, they were here everyday working through the cold weather. We are very happy with the end result and recommend their work for any project inside and outside.

We chose JM Construction for our kitchen, living, dining area remodeling. The team we worked with was fantastic from start to finish of the project: Excellent communication at every phase of the project, designing to our needs and budget, keeping the promised timelines and an overall excellent workmanship. They have a policy to finish every detail of the design work and order all parts before starting any work on site.

The project consultation with Tim and design phase with Jenn were excellent. Tim sat with us for multiple meetings to answer all our questions regarding pricing and timelines. Jenn is a great designer and was fantastic to work with. While she incorporated all our needs in terms of opening up the space and increasing storage, she also clarified when we tended to make questionable design choices. The end product is a beautiful space with all our original problems resolved!

For the construction phase we worked with Justin and O'Ben. They maintained the 12-14 week timeline, communications were timely, there was full transparency about any cost changes with customer approvals, any problems identified during construction were dealt with smoothly. Justin and O'Ben communicated with us no matter when we reached out to them, including some issues over the weekend. O'Ben and his crew on site were very pleasant from start to finish. They built us a comfortable temporary kitchen space through the 12 weeks of work. They left a clean construction area every day. Once the work was completed, they let us use the space for some time to fix any problems before calling the project fully done.

Overall, we are very happy with this team and look forward to working with them for our future projects.

We did a total gut kitchen and powder room renovation with JM Construction this past summer and everything went very smoothly and we are totally satisfied with the results. Thoughtfully designed spaces and quality craftsmanship. As with most construction projects (during Covid) we ran into delays and issues. Delays were well communicated, and our issues were treated with respect and expedience. We are extremely pleased with the final results. A friendly, knowledgeable group of people that work well together is hard to find. Any issues we raised were immediately addressed and corrected in a timely manner. JM Construction has completed three separate projects on my 30-year-old house. I had a serious problem on the north side related to a rotting, crumbling window and badly compromised wood around it that required extensive replacement of the outside wall. I also needed my front door replaced and re-squared because over the years the settling of the house had made it so it didn't sit in the frame properly and was so difficult to open and close that the core of the door had actually snapped in two. They also replaced all the corner boards on the house and removed/repaired some woodpecker damage. In every case, JM's crew has been professional, courteous, informative, and pleasant to deal with. They spent a lot of time talking with me about various options and explaining every part of what they were going to do. Their estimate was clear and comprehensive, and the work was begun and completed just as they promised. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Working with JM Construction on our master bathroom remodel was a fantastic experience from start to finish. From the beginning, the experience with JM construction was on point. We met with 3 builders to discuss a gut renovation to our 1997 era kitchen and powder room. Jeff was our third meeting, which was a video call and we found his personal demeanor both professional and sincere. After meeting him we were interested in moving forward to the next step, which was an in-person walk through. Following the walk through, we knew we had found our partner and at that point agreements were signed and detailed plans, costs and timelines were produced. As homeowners, it was certainly an extensive project for us, and we felt that Jeff and his team treated it as they would for their own property. Throughout the process JM's team never let us down.

Jeff and his team were excellent at communication, keeping us + our designer posted on progress or setbacks. The relationship was such that JM could call our designer directly and work out solutions/timing. When mid project decisions required all of us, the team offered up multiple solutions and ideas. The fact that the GC (JM), his subs, our designer and us, the folks actually paying for it all could readily talk and get on the same page is a testament to the team JM has assembled. These conversations were always respectful, genuine, and focused on solutioning.

Notable highlights:
• Our project was set up in an APP (BuildersTrend) that linked to email that managed the documentation, payment system, change orders, a schedule that told us what was happening each day and tracked all communication.
• An awesome site manager who came daily, was easy going and a fantastic problem solver.
• A weekly site meeting to keep everyone on the same page.
• A high functioning temporary kitchen including a sink with hot water was built for us.
• All the sub-contractors were impressive and seemed to have great relationships with JM Construction
• Our construction didn’t begin until all every item was procured, enabling our renovation to complete on schedule.

We have nothing but respect and appreciation for the Team (subs included) that JM put on our project. The inevitable issues that need to be dealt with were communicated clearly, quality solutions offered and timelines effectively managed. Post project JM has checked in a few times and on one of those calls we mentioned a couple of small items/issues that had come up. They certainly were not JM's responsibility, but JM put a solution in place. Quality folks taking pride and doing quality work. Obviously, we can’t say enough about our renovation and our experience with this team.

I have hired Jeff's company at least ten times of the past fifteen years to do a variety of jobs on my home; some small, some more substantial. Regardless, Jeff and his staff have been consistently excellent to deal with. Communication and documentation are clear, timelines met, and the work is done competently.
