H&R did a super job replacing our old roof quickly and efficiently! We were able to easily contact our project consultant Dan, who helped us define the project and set it up within a week of our call. The roofers were skilled, polite, and diligent; they carried out the entire project within a day! They placed protective netting & tarps over the house and shrubs alongside the house to protect them from debris as they removed the old roof, and at the end of the day cleaned up every bit of debris around the yard - it was immaculate! The new, clearly high quality roof is really lovely - completely upgrades the look of our Gambrel house! Highly recommend Dan and his team!

I was astonished by the strength of the reviews that H&R Roofing had out here and now I find myself adding a strong reference myself. It got to the point where I asked reference accounts whether they were related to someone at the company. They assured me that they were not.
From start to finish we found this company to be professional and focused on a quality product. They arrived when they said they would and completed the job in a day and a half. They did not damage any of our extensive plantings and flower beds which surround the house as they removed and disposed of the old roof and installed the new one.
Their staff obviously took pride in their work. They left our home pretty much as they had found it!

We have decided that after 21 years it is time to change shingles on our roof. We did get 4 quotes from different roofing companies, compared what people are saying, the price, the warranty and have decided that we should choose H&R Roofing.
We were correct - everything went very smooth. The H&R Roofing representative - Shane - came next day after we called, inspected roof with a drone, checked the attic and sent us proposal on the next day. He answered all our questions and explained things we wanted to understand better - e.g., about the warranty.
The work was done in one day - it took about 12 hours.
The day before the roof repair was scheduled, Snane came, measured our attic, and placed two huge tarps to catch the debris. The next day after work was done Shane came again, checked the roof with a drone and removed the debris from our attic. Basically we had to do nothing - H&R Roofing did take care of everything.
We are very happy with our roof now and very grateful to H&R Roofing and Shane personally.

Additional comments few months later :

We had issue - pollen was getting into the attic and we had really hard time to get H&R Roofing to fix it - eventually they did - after a lot of calls/sms/emails - and very reluctantly.

We were told that gutters would be cleaned after roof installation, but they were filled with debris and when first serious rain came - we had a real flood - we had to call gutter cleaners to remove pieces of old tiles that were blocking the waterflow.

Amazing. I can't recommend H & R Roofing highly enough. These folks saved my house. I had another roofer tear things off, realize they were in over their heads, and then ask for more money (33% more!) to finish the job. After 84 days, the tarps leaked and we had massive flooding.
H & R Roofing came in, gave me a reasonable quote to finish what the first one's started, reinstalled tarps that kept us dry, and worked with me while I found a builder who specializes in this type of construction. Then this team integrated schedules with the builder seamlessly. On top of that, they helped get me the additional insulation boards I wanted installed before the roofing layer went on.
What a godsend! After such a crazy time, it's a relief to have a dry interior. Thank you, thank you.

Replaced chimney flashing, step flashing on 4 dormers and added 1/2" plywood over 100 + year old roofing boards to reinforce overall roof surface. The job was completed in 2 days and left my property cleaner than when they came. Highly recommend!!!

H&R Roofing did an excellent job replacing our roof which had two layers of shingles. Dan Cummings thoroughly explained all our options. We were thoroughly pleased with every aspect of their work. H&R Roofing was the best choice I could've made for a roofing job. Cost was fair, they were professional, punctual, worked hard and cleaned up when they were done. My job was complicated - I had to decide to repair slate or replace it. Robbie, the project manager helped me to decide to remove a very old slate roof (over 150 years). Under that was a cedar shingle roof so they needed to remove it all and install plywood on the whole roof and then install a new asphalt roof. They also removed a lower asphalt shingle roof and installed a metal roof and a skylight. This was another decision - rubber or metal. Each job was done by a different crew and both crews knew their stuff. It looks beautiful and I couldn't be happier. Robbie, the project manager went above and beyond as I had a lot of questions and he answered all of them, didn't pressure me to buy/upgrade, provided pictures and other houses to look at and references. I also had gutters installed and this crew also did a fantastic job. I highly recommend H&R Roofing for your roofing needs!

H&R was very easy to work with, and was helpful and honest at every step of the process - from the insurance adjuster assessment through final cleanup and walkthrough. Their pricing was competitive and the quality of the work was top-notch. My primary contact throughout was Jon (Salesman) - he was very helpful, was never pushy, and was diligent in getting the work done in timely manner and to my satisfaction. H&R Roofing far outperformed our expectations on quality of work, timeliness, professionalism and price. Our roof was an absolute mess with 2 layers of old shingles, globs of old tar that must have been smeared on as temporary fixes over the years, rot and leaks in multiple places. Robbie magically organized his group of roofers to come to our house and perform miracles, all while on his honeymoon! There really are not enough positive words for how much we appreciate their work. We live in an old house and whenever work is done here it takes extra time, often 2-3 times what is expected. It took 3 days to complete the roof, and each day everyone was here on time and for close to 12 hours. We are so thankful for H&R Roofing for stopping the leaks, giving us a price WAY under what we felt it should cost, and really giving us our life back, as dramatic as that sounds! Thank you a million times for being there for us and helping us when we really needed it.

H and R installed a new exhaust fan and Soffit vents. They first came out as an emergency call because I had a minor water leak. They found out that my fan shroud had a hole in it, and was leaking. They patched everything up to prevent further leaks (came out at dusk on a Friday night) and Monday came and did everything. Highly recommended

I hired H&R roofing for the owner of the company I work for. It was a full strip and replace. From the initial meeting onsite to the clean up was A+.
I was impressed with all aspects of the project. The protection provided to the shrubs, flowers and lawn was fantastic. The cleanup was perfect. Not one roofing nail to be found on the property. The property looked exactly the same as when they left with the exception of a new roof. Great job guys!!

We recently purchased our first home and needed a new roof installed quickly. H&R Roofing gave us the best quote from 3 roofing companies we reached out to on the South Shore, and were timely in getting back to us with the quote and answering all of our questions. The crew showed up on time and they were incredibly efficient - we had a new roof in just under 6 hours!

The foreman onsite provided us regular updates via text message on how it was going throughout the day, along with many pictures so we could see the progress. He was also fast to let us know when a couple of the plywood boards needed replacement and how that would impact the total cost.

Spectacular. I cannot think of a better experience I have had with a vendor. I chose H&R Roofing as they were one of the top four roofers I selected as judged from their reviews. They had the best price, were very responsive (with Jon) and did an excellent and timely job. They even reduced the price from their estimate when they found that they didn't have to put shingles where they found copper sheeting. I don't think you can find a better this company.

We get quotes from three companies: one is very professional but too pricy and one is much less professional but we chosen H&R roofing and very satisfied all the works they done for our house. Fast with solid quality and very clean and friendly. Not only installed new roof and also helped us to replace the whole balcony and a brand new basement door with very reasonable price. Well professional managed company with complete service.

My tenant called me at 6:00pm on a Saturday night to report a roof leak that was coming into the laundry room and onto the 220 outlet of the dryer. I went on-line to the H&R website and sent a message asking them to contact me. I then headed over to the rental property to cut the power to the dryer and see what I could do as a temporary fix (the roof was 23 years old). Imagine my surprise when my cell phone rang on my way over to the property and it was Dan from H&R! He offered to meet me at the property that night! Dan, the owner, and 2 of their employees then met me at the property the next morning (on a Sunday!), and put in a temporary repair. They then quoted me the job the very same day (on a Sunday!) at a very competitive price. 2 weeks later the new roof went in. The workmanship was fabulous and Dan's customer service throughout the process was incredible. Don't even look at another roofing Company - just call H&R!

I got quotes from three roofers and decided to go with H&R (whose quote was in the middle). I selected them based on the fact that they have amazing reviews on Framingham Family Network on Facebook. They did not disappoint! They were on time, professional and fast! So very happy with my new roof! I have already referred H&R roofing to two of my friends. You can’t go wrong with them.

We had new shingles put on our roof. We were looking for something a little different and Dan made the process easy. It took a couple of weeks after signing the contract to source the shingles and get the job started but once they started, they were done in a day an a half. The team did a great job with no surprises. Highly recommend.

Dan came out and gave us an estimate which was very clear and concise. The estimate was accurate to the final amount charged. (Our actual amount was slightly higher --but this was explained during the estimating time and was expected) The extra work in addition to what was quoted was done the same day as the job --(Even though we needed more work) The crew was amazing. They arrived on time, set up in a clean and neat order. They remained kind and professional during the entire time. We are remote learning, so trust me--they were dealing with kids coming and going --
They finished the job as expected and left a clean work environment. Dan came back to make sure all was right after the crew had finished--explaining to me that he wanted to be sure there weren't any stray screws. The job went a lot better than I anticipated--the cost was less than I thought it might be when I first started pricing the work we needed. (which was a new roof--including new plywood) and the customer service was above expectations in this day and age. If you are looking for a new roof, give Dan a call. You will be glad you did!

Dan and Ronaldo were great to work with! The made sure my plants were not destroyed and their crew was extremely efficient and professional, cleaning up after both days (first day was interrupted by rain). Minutes after they finished the job, the skies opened up again, and I was so happy to have my new roof! Highly recommend H&R.

First, Chris the salesman was a pleasure to deal with. The same with Ronaldo, the boss. They said they would start the job (new roof, gutters, facia and 3 replacement skylights) at 7 AM and finish the same day. They had a crew of about 10 people there at 7 AM sharp and they finished everything, including a complete clean-up of the site, around 4:30-5. They are really efficient starting with stripping the old roof and replacing some areas of rotted plywood they told me to expect and then applying the new shingles and other parts of the roof job.

This work was done in March and I waited at least a few months, as I typically do before writing a review, to be sure everything (including some follow-up punch-list items) was completed properly and timely. I never had a problem reaching them after the job was completed regarding the punch-list. All in all, I was very happy with their work, professionalism and customer service and I unhesitantly give H&R 5 stars. They deserve it.

We had the unfortunate experience on having a large pine tree fall through our roof during a bad storm. We didn’t even know where to begin but luckily one of the first numbers we called based on some recommendations was H&R roofing. Jon showed up the very next morning to take a look and help us proceed with the insurance company. He worked with our insurance company to ensure the very best outcome.

The team showed up to install our new roof a few days after getting the permit. We were so impressed with the army that showed up to fix our roof - they worked quickly and efficiently and were done our very large roof in a couple of days.

My neighbor had their roof replaced several weeks ago. I watched closely to the employees of H & R Roofing as they transformed a 20 roof into a new roof. I was very impressed with what I saw so I called H & R Roofing and dealt with John. My own roof is 27 years old and the time had come to get it reshingled. In the past year I received three quotes from other local companies. John assessed my roof and came in with an exceptional price using nothing but high quality products. The H & R Roofing crew (8 men) came two weeks later and by the end of the day, we had a beautiful new roof. I have never seen such work harmony and coordination as the team worked throughout the day. At the end of the day, my yard was spotless as if they were never here. Highly recommend looking closely at this company. Our experience was phenomenal

I worked with Dan for my quote. I checked BBB, Yelp, and Google reviews but I went with them because of the responsiveness to my requests and the fact that I made it clear what I was looking for and they did not try to upsell or scare me into something I didn't want. Dan was able to get me on their schedule within 2 weeks of my signing contract. They pulled permits as part of process.

The crew was ridiculously efficient. They stripped down roof (we have a ranch with a 1-car garage bumpout) within a few hours and pointed out the few roof panels that needed replacing. They use a cool mobile/telescoping dump truck that allowed them to get the old roofing materials into dumpster with minimal mess. They were done by 3:30pm. Gutters done the next day.

I liked that the crew was employees and not contractors. IMHO that leads to higher quality work. Ronaldo and foreman (forget name) were on top of the job. I'd recommend these guys to anyone. Very happy with the quality of work. This company is family-owned and inspire confidence throughout the whole process. Easy recommendation on my part.
