Austin was fantastic with our roofing repair! We were able to schedule the estimate the same week we called, he showed up on time, and the price he gave us was very competitive. He took photos to point out some of the other issues on our roof that he could repair while fixing the main issue and I'm so glad he did. He was efficient, accommodating, and respectful. When I first noticed the leak, I gave them a call. They came out the very next day to give an assessment. Special shout out to Austin who even made an extra trip back just to tarp the roof for free, avoiding even further damage during recent rain storm. J&J handled several jobs in our neighborhood and were recommended by all, but I got three estimates anyway. The others were good but J&J beat the competition in their estimate, customer service skills and my confidence level. Ike led off and came to the house 3-4 times to make sure we were getting what we wanted with a Presidential shingle, four new skylights and new gutters and downspouts with a cool dark bronze color that complimented the charcoal roof and brown house. The crews followed up when the weather was clear and were quick and cleaned up each day. The gutters were installed and then David QCd everything and got all the final touches made taking care of a few slight repairs. I made payment using three cards for assorted cash-back deals and they were very accommodating. They did an amazing job and I highly recommend them.

I have a pretty complicated roof and was having leaks due to poor prior installation. I got about 8 bids from reputable local roofing companies. Ike came out and really offered the best deal of all the companies. His team did a great job and I enjoyed working with David the onsite foreman. They allowed me to do some wiring while they removed some damaged sheeting. They also came back promptly to fix a few minor issues I had (I'm very particular about things). They did a great job roofing my house, garage and an outbuilding. They were very organized, arriving when they said they would. Bringing materials they needed. Covered the shrubs and picked up debris in the yard as they worked. Did a thorough check for loose nails which was appreciated. They all worked hard, doing a good job. J&J last installed a new roof for our house in 2002. We sprung a ceiling leak in the main bathroom. Figured we might as well check them out 22 years later. Saw that they were still in business I’m glad we did. They repaired the repair done by a different roofing company. Cleaned the roof and gutters. Removed 3 trash bags of organic matter. Freshened up the chimney, sealed a few cracks on the top, and changed out the chimney flashing for a newer more effective material.

They back there work too. We paid $2800 for the work completed today. We were told they will refund in full, if the leak returns. Also, if we decide to use J&J for a new metal roof, they will credit us $2800.

I interviewed a bunch of different roofing companies and definitely liked J&J the best. Ike came to my house and explained their product and warranty to me. He brought samples and was polite and very knowledgeable. Within a couple weeks they were out and tore off my old roof and got my new one on. I have a 50 year warranty on the product and a 25 year installation warranty. So far I am very satisfied. I would recommend J&J to anyone. I believe them to be a fine company.

We recently decided to go with J&J roofing over several other companies. What separated them from the rest was their customer service along with the warranty they are able to offer. Here we are 3 weeks later and I couldn’t be happier with our new roof. The companies 5 star reputation held true and they didn’t try to overprice the work like several other companies we got quotes from. Overall we are very happy we went with J&J and feel like they are the type of company that will take care of their customer’s at the end of the day.

Absolutely great experience with everyone we interacted with. Receiving the bid was very informative and they were not trying to up sell us in anyway. Gave us the information and made our decision. Communication from them was awesome. When they had availability they offered the opening and got it scheduled. The day of the tear there was rain predicted. Despite them already delivering the disposal trailer they called the night before and said they were delaying due to the weather. Made me confident they wanted it done right! Install team was great. On time daily and got the work done quickly. They had questions about where to put the Starlink dish back on the roof and waited until I was home to make sure it was where I wanted it. A few small things to fix when the install team was done were addressed the next day. I would hire them again in a instant!

5 Star customer service! It is not often you receive quality customer service from businesses these days. J&J Roofing is exceptional! Nathan with J&J not only found issues with our roof that the mold and insurance inspectors missed but they stepped in to fix additional problems created by the mold eradication company at no additional charge. We recommend J&J Roofing for any roofing needs.

Ike with J&J had some of the best communication that I have ever experienced and was never pushy when he came over to quote our roof. He spent the time to explain the project, show us the materials they use, and explain the warranty as well as why they trust in the product they use. He was easy to reach with any questions after the fact as well.

Taylor in the office was fantastic and very good at getting us scheduled as well as getting someone out ASAP to tarp our roof before the job begun. When we had issues, she was able to help address them and brought them to the appropriate party to be resolved.

For full transparency, we had a few things come up during our roof replacement that concerned us. The communication lacked with the roofers when my wife told them we had dogs and was concerned about letting them out. When they would leave for lunch or for the day, our gates were left open and we were not told they were leaving, upon completion, there was some trash left around our property, our patio furniture had been moved and not put back, we had a pressure washer hose left in our bush, and the company that delivered the material ran over our grass in the front yard, leaving it pulled up and a mess.

Now for the reason that I am rating J&J 5 stars even with this happening. When the grass was torn up, we received a call from Taylor that same day asking what we'd like to do for a solution, the company that ran over the grass came back out to repair the spot. When my wife called the office to notify them of the other issues, Taylor was quick to apologize for the entire inconvenience and sent the roofers back the same day to clean up the mess, pick up the hose, and put back the furniture. She also scheduled Ike to come back out to review the job.

Upon arriving, Ike surveyed the job and the areas that we had issues. He said that he would be sending out a worker to make some finishing touches on the roof to make sure the job was done perfectly. He also said they would be monitoring how the grass looks in the coming year to see if it comes back and if it does not, he will offer another solution. As for the other issues, he was extremely apologetic and offered an extremely fair resolution. My wife and I were both impressed with the service that we received.

How do you find a contractor that does a great job, at a fair price, that you can trust? The J&J crew of 3 worked long & hard on Saturday and Sunday on our 1978 metal trailer. They did an excellent job surpassing our expectation. Thank you Ike, we really appreciate all that you have done for us.

We found J&J at the county fair and had already had 2 other quotes for our roof. The quote was on par with the others and offered better materials and warranties. Prior to deciding on a style, we walked around our neighborhood to get an idea of what styles and options are out there. I had almost given up after many months of stress & frustration! Ike put the process in motion. The estimate was fair and well prepared.

Once my job began the crew was promt, efficient, courteous & competent! There were a few issues that were quickly resolved. We had our roof and gutters redone as well as our siding repainted and we couldn't be happier with the service and quality of work that we have received. This is the second time we used J&J Roofing. We had our roof replaced on our garage last year. The crew replaced our roof quickly during an unexpected snow storm and it turned out great. The following year we learned our attic on our home was filled with black mold. David gave us a bid and Taylor got our job scheduled as quickly as she could. During the remodel Ike and David were both at the house checking on the status of the new install. Our new metal roof looks amazing. Everyone compliments how good our roof looks on the house. Joel is a good guy and easy to talk to and asked questions about our plans with the home to figure out what roof package would be best for our needs.

Not just pushing the platinum plus roof with all the upgrades trying to get the biggest sale.

He gave us a fair price with a good warranty.

Amber in the office is super nice and very communicative. They had a break in the weather and was able to get all the materials and crew out to my house on just a few days notice.

The crew: good guys very nice very hard workers.

There was a few issues with some plants getting damaged but I understand it can be tricky working around peoples plants and yards while trying to be efficient at your job.

With that I gave 5 stars because it’s what Joel and amber did after.

They made it right on our final bill and were very understanding and apologized about the damage.

They sent Kyle out to do the final touches on our roof he was very nice and he went above and beyond to make sure I was very happy with the end result.

We researched four Vancouver-area roofing companies for our new roof. One bid was very high, one bid was very low, and two were right in the middle…we chose J&J Roofing on a recommendation from our neighbor and the fact that the company is among the “Best of Clark County” nominees on the Columbian’s website. J&J’s sales manager, Joel Allison, was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the shingles and other materials they would be using. He arrived with his bid for our project already typed up because he used satellite technology to measure our roof. He had samples of shingles with him, and we were able to make our decision that day. Joel and his office staff promptly returned my phone calls when I had questions. We were especially impressed with the work crew. There were four or five roofers at our house every day. They got the job done efficiently, and they even spent a Sunday morning cleaning our deck and a few spots on our siding after the first day of the project. This is a hard-working, professional roofing company, and we highly recommend them.

J & J Roofing gets and deserves a five star rating from me. My neighbor and I determined it was time to replace the more than twenty years old roof on our duplex. We carefully researched what we wanted in terms of materials (GAF Timberline HDZ shingles), and warranty of the manufacturer and the roofer. Then we sought bids from several companies. We settled on J & J because of the reviews we read, the very competitive price, and the commitment of the company to do everything we asked of them. They were excellent in every phase of the process, starting with the detailed bidding, the quality of the materials, the removal of the old roof and the its replacement, cleanup during and upon completion of the project, and the final walk through. They discovered damaged plywood and replaced three sheets. The also added needed insulation in the attic and added additional venting that was lacking. During the process when we asked questions, they responded with quick, clear and satisfactory answers. Their work is very professional, and of the highest quality. And, everyone we worked with in the company was very pleasant. The roof looks great! I recommend without any reservation J & J Roofing & Construction to anyone needing a new or replacement roof. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed with the entire process from the bid, communicating delays due to COVID19 state ordered closures, to install and clean up. Their crew is absolutely top notch! They were here every morning bright and early, worked non-stop till the evening with only a lunch break, then spent about an hour cleaning up at the end of each day, rolling a magnet to pick up any nails or staples, picking up scraps etc. This was especially nice since we have two small kids. They also communicated and took pictures of a couple trim pieces that had rotted and asked if we wanted them to take care of that as well, which we agreed to and they replaced the trim, re-sealed everything. The gutter company they team up with was also very professional, rolled out everything on site quickly, and made sure to pick up any debris left over. Again, the entire process was impressive, and I cannot say better things about the crews they run. We would definitely recommend this company.
