From beginning to end, a pleasant experience! Mark, our sales representative, was thorough, informative and experienced. He was especially nice to work with - he knows his stuff! And Mike, our project superintendent, was on site every day, ensuring everything was going as planned. He, too, was (is!) an experienced roofer and it was so reassuring to us that he kept his eagle-eyes on everything as the project moved along. Last, the roofing crew! They did such a great job. They worked extremely hard and obviously take great pride in their workmanship. Overall, we are very happy we chose JBS Roofing. Fair price. High quality installation. Beautiful results. All good! Great experience working with JBS on my underlayment/roof replacement project! Everyone I interacted with at JBS was very responsive. Quote was aligned with other estimates I received from other companies, and good payment options. Bridget was very helpful in answering my questions and getting me on the schedule. The crew worked hard and completed my roofing project sooner than expected and were respectful of property + did a great job tidying up each day. Mike (superintendent) stopped by throughout the process to check in and even came by recently for roof inspection after an exterior painting project was completed at my home.

We had our roof done by Jim Brown and Sons Roofing in 2022. Several weeks ago we had a severe dust devil kick up and ripped off several tiles right in the middle of the roof. Some were smashed and bits in the pool, others just strewn around the roof. Jeremey came out to inspect and fixed it right on the spot - and no charge! I was truly amazed. I was waiting for "a bid" and then the long process of getting it repaired. Bingo, done quickly, efficiently, and no charge; much appreciated. Highly recommend then.

JBS Roofing was referred to us by a trusted member of the congregation we serve. Their quote was in line with others I had received. Work was done in about 2.5 days. Overall very happy with the install with one minor issue: I had requested an old satellite bracket be removed from the roof. After the tar paper was laid down, the bracket was still there. I removed it myself and cleaned the granules out before the crew arrived the next day. It would have been better to remove the bracket before the tar paper went down. Still, the roof looks nice.

We had a great experience with JBS roofing. A good friend who is a home inspector referred us to them when we had a small roof leak (outside). JBS did a full inspection and thankfully it was not a complicated fix. They came a couple days later and took care of our issue and the roof has been great since!!!

We've been using Jim Brown and Sons for several years for our general contracting repairs. They are always timely, friendly and very knowledgeable and courteous.

We hired JBS to perform a leak repair on our roof after getting quotes from two different companies. The JBS quote was timely and very thorough. The estimator explained the problem very well. The work was scheduled in a timely manner and the crew arrived as promised and completed the whole project in one day. JBS has been great to work with and did a great job. I will recommend them to anyone needing a roof repair or replacement. When it comes time to replace the rest of our roof we will hire JBS for the job for sure.

JBS did a great job repairing and re-coating my flat roof. They communicated well, gave me a fair price, and, to my eye the coating looks good. Also, the first time they inspected my roof they told me I didn't need a repair for another year - I appreciate the honesty.

JBS Roofing did an outstanding job repairing and updating my roof in November 2024. They coordinated with my AC company (who removed my swamp cooler and replaced my heat pump) to accomplish both jobs at the same time. Our JBS salesman Mark provided a detailed plan to re-deck the swamp cooler area and replace the affected shingles while the AC job was in progress. The JBS crew arrived on time, got right to work and did everything according to plan. There were no surprises during this job, and they left my home clean and orderly. The result was better than I hoped. I cannot tell where they blended the new shingles with the existing ones. I have already had someone ask me for the contact info for JBS roofing. This company was great! I wasn't looking for the lowest bid but the best deal and Jim Brown and Sons came through with both. They passed on an free upgrade from shingle company, military discount, work was schedule the within a week or so and work was all done in a day. We couldn't be happier!

JBS Roofing is my first choice for roofing. Started my re-roof project (remove tile, replace underlayment, replace tile) and were done in less than 3 days. Excellent work. Cleaned up after each day and did an excellent final cleanup. Superentendent (Mike) came by a day or two later and inspected the work and also walked completely around the house looking for trash or nails, he found none.
I had done business with JBS Roofing as a facility manager for a large state agency, about 15-20 years ago. I found them to be very honest and they always delivered a quality product, on time and at the quoted price. I highly recommend them and will use them again if need be.

JBS lived up to their reputation. They were prompt to give us an estimate, were able to replace our flat roof with minimal disruption to the tiles on peaked roof, did a pre inspection to insure the proper supplies would arrive on time, arrived to replace the roof as planned, and then followed up with a post repair inspection. What more could we ask for??

JBS Roofing is outstanding! They have helped us on a few of our roofing projects, and will soon be installing our new roof. They are hands down the best roofing company we have ever dealt with. The gentleman that came out recently was so honest, and kind, and didn't try to sell us something we didn't need. I had a section of tiles that came off my roof during the last monsoon , and one roofing companies immediately went to "you need a new roof for $13700" when my roof is only 6 years old. Dan came over when I had a roof leak a day earlier then scheduled. He walked me through the in's and out's of what is going on. Found out it was an easy fix and something I can do on a day off. Had a great conversation and awesome customer experience. Would not even go anywhere else from here on out after my first interaction. Thank you!

I call them to set a estimate and told them not to bother my wife to call me and that was not put in the notes . Then they just don't bother telling you that they are not going to give you service they just keep telling you that they will have the guy call you so very bad service over all.

Gary came out to give us an estimate on repairing our patio and storage room. Another company was there at the same time. Gary went and checked the damage. He never came to the door to let me know if he could do it or give me an estimate. I didn't even know that he left. I called the company to see what was going on. He did call me with the remark about having other companies being there. I didn't know you weren't suppose to get other estimate. He did send me a quote but if that is how they do business I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I even contacted the insurance company because they are the ones who recommended them. Very disappointing.

How on Gods planet earth, do I get a call back, to let me know that this company (well I should specify, Garry) will not service what I requested. He stated that, "this is not a company where we fix things". He said, the only way to do business with me, was if we replaced the ENTIRE roof on a 5,000 Sqft home. That's not what I called for.
I am getting what was requested in my BINSR. Tell me why I would replace the entire roof when all that was requested was a few things. There is no logic there. I mean, of course, unless you wanted some big money

Everyone on the JBSRoofing team was great to work with. Very professional, friendly, responsive, and engaging. We had a full roof replacement done by JBSRoofing. The qoute process was informative and complete. The work was done very professionally. Everyone who came onsite to do the work was friendly. They kept the area around the house clean and kept up. They cleaned up every day at the end of the day. They started when they said they would and got the job done on time. I highly recommend JBSRoofing.

Fifteen thousand five hundred dollars to roof my home! Work started on time, however there was no supervision, no one spoke English! No care was taken to insure all the nails and staples, plastic thrown in the pool! After the work was completed, it took another week to correct the poor workmanship from the installers! Sky lights put on crooked! Clean up was a joke! I noticed another sky light was crooked, and a bulge under another! I called once each week with no response! After threatening to go to registrar office, I did get a call, and Steve came out! When I showed him, I asked why it was left like this? We've been busy! What??? They can wait! He didn't like the way I was I talking to him! I said forget it! I asked him to leave!
This is typicall Arizona contracting, you shouldn't have to ask to have something done right! Especially when you've paid for it!

Great job. They were very professional. I had 1 problem with the skylight seal. It was left off. The superintendent was quick to find the problem and ordered a new seal .

Received a full reroof from JBS in April. They provided good communication and quality work. I waited until now to review to see how roof held up during most of monsoon season. Everything looks great! They are very responsive and detail oriented. Cleanup during and after install helped minimize nails and staples overall. I still recommend you use your own magnets if you have kids or pets as staples and nails find all kinds of crevices but that's to be expected. Great job overall and highly recommend.

I write this review because I relied so heavily on the reviews I saw here (for JBS) when I hired JBS roofing. Now, after having worked with them… and now having seen how they work, I wonder about the origin of the reviews I read. In short, after signing the initial bid, any extra item that came up , we were charged an exorbitant fee - twice or three times the industry norm based on our calls to verify cost - with other roofing companies. our queries with JBS were met with total disregard - As bad as their approach was during the roofing process, the most alarming and important NOTE to anyone else who may have.... or is considering working with JBS was ..when they submitted the final bill for payment and assured me our over $50,000 roof was properly done. We were concerned, so we hired a licensed/bonded/ 30 year experienced roof inspector to inspect the roof. The roof inspector reported back; that there were over 32! negligent and sloppy workmanship items on the roof..with attached photos. The inspector said it was one of the sloppiest
jobs he had seen. It was shocking to us and... in addition, JBS left dirty and rusty nails all over the site, one of the nails went thru the shoe and punctured the foot of a visiting guest and another a tire.. Still trying to be as civil as possible with JBS .. we asked if they would cover cost of the clean up of the nails that injured our guest and tire.. in total under $900.00 they said "no." .. it was on us. My suggestion is, IF you have had your roof done by this JBS company, HAVE YOUR ROOF INSPECTED by an independent inspector and if you have children, guest, or you will
be out in the area around your roof after JBS has worked there , have your landscaper or someone carefully clean up to prevent injury.

Great job! In the middle of monsoon season, I had to replace my roof underlayment on my tile roof. They did a very thorough job and found spots of rot and replaced plywood. The job was done quickly and very efficiently. They were very polite, friendly and explained everything about the process to us.
Price was great, too!

JBS Roofing is a great company. We had a disaster of a roof that another company had installed. When Gary Walsh came to give us an estimate, he suggested we make a claim with the Registrar of Contractors. Not only did he suggest it, but he came out twice to our property to meet with the inspectors from the Registrar of Contractors. After we won our claim, we would have no other than JBS Roofing do our new roof. Now that the Monsoon's have started, no more leaks! Stephen Grzelinski, superintendent of our job, also did an excellent job keeping in contact with us throughout the process and making sure all was in order. The same crew came each day and were friendly, polite, and cleaned up all roofing materials.

JBS roofing is a locally owned business that services commercial and residential roofs. If you are having any issues with your roof they will have you covered. Fast, reliable, and honest they are hands down the best roofers in the valley! I highly recommend them!

JB&S roofing was fantastic. Needed a new roof due to leaks.They delivered on everything they promised. Steve was great during the original estimate, and was easily available for additional questions. Another roofing company offered raised batons and vented bird stop. When I called Steve, he answered my call immediately and discussed the pros and cons of raised batons. Then, the same evening shot me an email with those added items so I could compare. JB&S was still less than the other roofer. The installers (Art) were great, easy to talk to, and went over my contract step by step, on the roof, so I understood exactly what some of the items were. Great company. Mike finished up the final inspection, and Cynthia, in the office took care of the rest, and was also great to communicate with. Communication was always very quick. Highly recommend JB&S Roofing!

I had JBS roofing come out and take a look at the damage on my roof and right away they were able to give me a price that I thought was fair and reasonable. They explained to me how they came out to that price point and it made sense to me so we agreed on the price. They kept me updated on when they would be working at my house and for how long. Everyone that came to work on my house was nice and professional. The job was completed within the estimated time frame they had given me and the end result was great. They do great work at JBS and everyone, from their office workers to their onsite workers, were a pleasure to work with.

Had them come out to assess my roof as I’ve had a recent leak appear on the front edge of the roof. The guy that came out to assess right away acted like he didn’t want to be here. Told me I needed to contact my solar panel company. He didn’t even begin to look at the problem. Also, how is the solar company going to fix my roof problem. Solar company hasn’t been on the roof the entire time I’ve been here since they installed 8 yrs ago.

I told him to get lost. I would avoid this company, especially since I already had another company give me an accurate assessment of what was going on, but this guy didn’t want to bother. Thanks for wasting my time.

So far so good. They did a complete re roof on my tile roof. Went well they cleaned up ok for the most part. The did reuse some old tiles but came back and replaced them at my request in a reasonable time frame. So no problems there. After the monsoon rains we did have a leak not too bad. It came through in my master bedroom which sucks the ceiling is ugly now. But I called the day it leaked and they were out the next moring bright and early with 2 guys who fixed it up. I have been very happy with them except for the interior drywall damage after my new roof was installed. They are good overall and can be trusted, a longtime Glendale business in good standing with the city too.

They do quality work....and they stand behind it.....their customer service is really awesome...... if I could give 10 stars I would......I am very impressed with this company :)

Though the work was thorough I can't say it was done in a timely manner. They had scheduled a date (4 months out) as the date approached they had to reschedule to a later date. They started the work on Thurs which only took them maybe 45 mins. they came back the next day to put the foam in and was to follow up on Monday for the final seal. Monday comes and nobody show's I get a call late that night stating the truck broke down and they'd be there early Tues, Tues comes around and nobody show's I call them back and the gentlemen said there must of been a miscommunication with his crew they would then be there Weds morning July 3rd. They came Weds morning and the job was completed. Fast forward to the following Weds we had not paid the remaining balance as I was waiting for a bill in the mail, next thing we get is a message from the office stating they were sending out a lien letter for the remaining balance. REALLY not even a week after they finished the job LATE. I understand if we were a month late to get such a letter but 7 days out. Just make sure if you use this company you pay on the last day of service or you will be sent to collections.

They just finished working on our roof and gutters. We ran into a small snag but they never wavered on doing what was right. Good company !

The greatest crew known to man. Houses? No problem! Schools? Professional and done right! You need a mountain roofed? Call no one else. We got this! We will roof the moon if you need it!

Excellent customer service. I, admittedly, was a very picky customer and wanted everything done perfectly. They were extremely receptive, responsive, and friendly to my requests, everyone down from the service manager to the technicians that came out to do the work.

It's unfortunate that I received very poor customer service from JBS. I called to get a quote for a gutter installation which was scheduled at 2pm. I received an email confirmation. The day of the quote, Gary showed up at the house 3 hours early for the appointment. He was incredibly rude and abrupt when I answered the door. He informed me that he called and left a message that the appointment either needed to be moved up or rescheduled. I had been in meetings all day and was not able to call him back. I informed him that I could not meet with him because I was currently in a meeting (telephonic). He made it very clear that he was not coming back at 2pm and needed access to my backyard to give me a quote. I called the General Manager and left a message in order to speak to her about this situation and never received a call back. Honestly, no one deserves to be treated the way Gary was talking to me and no one should do business with a company that doesn't value customer service.

Update (1/25/19) - I received a call from Valorie after placing my review. She scheduled Peter to come out the following week to provide me with an estimate. He showed up on-time, did an excellent job answering my questions, providing me with some important information, and left me with a quote in hand. Although the quote was higher than another I had received, I was still pleased with the service I received during Peter's visit. I'll update the review again if we wind up hiring JBS.

Can't say enough good about them. They helped me work through all the insurance paperwork and did an excellent job! They stand behind their work and even offered to check the roof after any other work we have with painting etc...

This company was great at work and was very considerate to us and people near by. They did not create any trouble for anyone. Whole construction work was done with proper care. Our roofing is done in a modern design and our visitors always mention how good it looks.
