Mr. Gorum/Southwest Home Inspections was very courteous and professional. We had the added difficulty of purchasing from out of state and he made the inspection process relatively painless, even though we were not physically there. When the seller did not have the propane tank full, so that all appliances, the furnace and water heater could be inspected, Mr. Gorum graciously did a second stop to inspect those after the propane tank was filled. And completed an addendum to the original report.
We appreciate his excellent service and would recommend him to anyone looking for an inspection of their property.

I hired Mr. Gorum to inspect a house that I am looking to buy with my wife and my mother. This is the first house my wife & I have purchased, and while I know some of the things I needed to look for, I was worried that I might miss something that would be really important and could cost my family a lot of money. Mr. Gorum was polite and understanding. He and his wife talked me through the process and pointed out things they saw that I had missed or not seen as being as important as they were. They sent me a report of the inspection that was over fifty pages in length and clearly showed everything that they had found during the inspection. The report showed pictures of the issues and clearly explained what those issues were. After their inspection, I feel a lot more comfortable in understanding the home I am purchasing. If I were to move in the area in the future, I would definitely use Mr. Gorum's services again to inspect that home too.

Very knowledgeable, extremely thorough. Doing a detailed inspection found damage and the roof needed to resealed. The Seller dropped the price because of the detailed pictures. Great experience. Well worth the money.

Recently my friend asked me about house inspectors and I told her DO NOT go with Jeff Gorum, he doesn’t have your best interest. He has deleted my previous review and pictures and all bad reviews he accuses paid customers of fake reviews. DO NOT TRUST your future house on this guy. He is totally dishonest
