We are in the middle of our second major remodeling project with John & JBS Remodeling & Roofing.
Our first project was a complete tear out and rebuild of our entire basement/lower level. Not only did John meet our budget, but found ways to resolve critical issues that we didn't imagine we could afford to address. I was very impressed with the quality of work as well as the efficiency they showed when replacing our roof. When the job was completed, the clean up of the job site was excellent. The price was actually cheaper than the other quotes we got. We will definitely use JBS again.

We recently turned our unfinished basement into a cozy haven for our family. The space turned out exactly as we had planned. Working with John was a wonderful experience. Here are our highlights:

1) We were very concerned about our budget. We only had one small add on that was necessary and ended up exactly on budget!

2) We had bids from two companies. What we appreciated about John was that he came out to our house, looked at the space, and then had his contractors come out to our house BEFORE we signed the contract. He gave us a detailed contract with an estimate. My husband and I loved the certainty of what we would pay for this big project. The other company we spoke with gave us a "rough" estimate but didn't have contractors come out until AFTER we would have signed the contract. We appreciated John's process more.

3) John was always quick to respond to our text messages and phone calls. We never had to worry about him not getting back to us, which we appreciated.

4) John's contactors were friendly and respectful of our house.

After searching high and low for a home that would accommodate our growing family without luck, we opted to add on. Throughout the project John was attentive to the many requests and questions we had, and never hesitated offering our son (age 9) an extra hammer or an “important job” to do. Our other sons came to love seeing him pull in to check on the job too. We came in under budget which allowed us to add in a few extras - We’ve been in our new master suite now for nearly four months and it couldn’t have been a more perfect decision.
