JBS was a great company to work with. They were terrific, there were no problems, when I needed to make changes and they put up with all my husband's demands. They were always nice and very professional and very accommodating. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. Everyone is very nice there. Thank you JBS for my new home. This was my third new house built. Without a doubt the best house I have ever owned. was built bye JBS, I have been in this house for almost 2 1/2 years never had a problem. When they were building the house the attention to detail and perfection was unbelievable in a builder. Bruce and his team you will never find a better builder in the State of Delaware. Two of my friends love my house so much they had Bruce and the JBS team build them a house and as me they love it. Feel free to contact me anytime there are many good stories about JBS and Bruce.

Needed a porch converted to a 4 season room. They did a great job and were very easy to work with . I would highly recommend them for any type of remodeling.

JBS built our home in 2020 and were a breeze to work with. In 2023, a tornado hit our home. Bruce texted us just to see if we were ok since he heard that it hit our area. Bruce and his team came out the following Monday to take a look at our damages and decided to take on the rebuild. It was a no brainer for us since we were treated so well the first time around. We cannot recommend JBS enough. They really go above and beyond to make their customers happy.

JBS built our new home. They were so good with any questions, helping us get exactly the finishes, and even appliances, for our home. They were conscientious, great communication, and we felt always that we were in good hands. Our punch list was short at the finish line and they took care of every detail. I highly recommend JBS Construction. We have had three construction projects with them including the most recent being the construction and installation of a work bench in my garage. It turned out great. The other two projects were our 14'x21' Timber Tech deck, and concrete work around our deck in our back and side yard. Both look wonderful and we couldn't be more pleased. Our family was looking to purchase a new trailer in Delaware. We currently had a trailer with attached sunroom. We wanted the sunroom to be kept since it was in good condition. We needed someone take charge in removing the sunroom, waiting for the new trailer to be placed and then to reattach the sunroom. Seemed like a straightforward project. After speaking to numerous friends / family at our campground, we were given names of friends that do this work on the side (No company, just knowledge of how to do it).
We decided to put our minds at ease after spending money on a brand new trailer, we wanted it done correctly. We felt better with a contract to remove the current sunroom and then replace it, after the new trailer was placed.

A contract is only good as those that honor it.

JBS Contracting did just that! We spoke with Scott, in sales, he assured us that JBS had done numerous take down and replacement of sunrooms, using existing sunrooms as well as placing brand new sunrooms. We were given a quote and in a few days we were under contract and ready to move forward.

Scott, in Sales and Jeff Baker, Jr., Project Mgr, both were in contact and let us know time line for removal, discussed the date of new trailer drop and date which sunroom would be reattached.

We met Jeff Baker, Jr. on location. He assured us the time frames, what it would entail and what our part of the contract would mean being on property.
We had 4 young men come out and begin the work. All of them were polite, loved my animals, took care of my trailer and property as if it were their own. RJ, TJ, Robby and Dillin were very kind, dedicated, hard workers. The temperatures were among the crazy heat waves we had in July. I give these guys lots of credit working under these blistering hot days up on the roof, under trailers, light bouncing off the white of the sidewalls. No doubt it was scorching some days. We offered them cold drinks many times and they always were prepared with their own.

We had a few minor issues, however, Jeff, made sure to contact us ASAP when we were not on location. He explained the situation and the solutions. Together we discussed what was best for our situation. Jeff gave his expertise (if he had a question he followed his resources to find the correct information). Not one time did we feel confused or uncertain about the work being done.
Jeff assured us face to face, “We will not walk off the job until you are 100% satisfied!”

JBS is a company we highly recommend. Yes, you may be able to find someone to save a little money. You may save some time having a friend do the job, but for the money you spend on a project it feels good to have peace of mind.

Having a responsible, respectable, company with caring employees that go above and beyond to ensure your happiness with the finished product is something every company should strive for in our society. Knowing that Jeff’s word was good and we didn’t need to revisit the contract for little things that popped up. We knew right away what kind of people we were in business with and we appreciated the straightforward honesty.

We are all human. There was an issue, Jeff contacted us and ensured us a solution was already in play. Everything was moving forward.

After 30 yrs it was time for a house facelift, upgrade and remodel from new windows, new siding, new gutters, new shutters to an upgrade of existing shower/tub to a walk in shower and the addition of sreened in porch. JBS has been great from estimate to job completion. They are very professional, polite and courteous. Would definately use them again on future projects. Highly recommend.

I had JBS construction build my house. Doing my research, they seem to be quite good, but when they built my house, it was very poor quality. They say, more house than you thought you could afford, but it is definitely less quality than what one would expect. I would not recommend them at all. I also had them do the blueprint, and that was a big mistake. The floor plan and elevation view did not match causing confusion and a major delay in building the house (over a month delay).

So I have been in my new house for a month now and figured it was time to leave a review. My father is a union carpenter and he and I built my first house. Due to his age and location it was not an option. I was nervous to say the least, I'm a do it myself guy. Meeting with the jbs staff the first time I knew I was in good hands. I checked out other builders just to be sure. Each one had nothing but positive things to say about jbs and could not give us what we wanted for the price jbs could. After a month of being in the house I can say they over achieved and delivered 110% what they said they would. The process was so easy and everything was smooth with a ton of options. Beautiful, well built home for a fair price. I would never use anyone else and before you do you better give them a call. Thank you JBS!!

This builder offers the best built home at the best price. They build a home using better materials than most and put things in their homes that lots of other builders charge as upgrades. They are hands on and very responsive as well as just good guys that want to have a happy customer. I would recommend them to anyone I know.
