This is the third project my wife and I have done with James Roofing, two composite roofs and one continuous gutter. We are very satisfied with all three jobs, the crew is punctual, courteous ,fast and tidy. The finished product looks and preforms great! Highly recommended with very fair pricing.

James roofing just completed a re roof of my home in Pacific City. The workmanship is outstanding and the Malarky shingles are an excellent product. They are very responsive and show up when they say they are going to show up. They are very competitive in their pricing and stand behind their products and workmanship. The site clean up was great and it only took them 2 days to complete the project.

Highly recommend James Roofing! They replaced our house and shed roofs and the gutters on three buildings early this year. Our roof was leaking this past winter, and of four companies who gave us estimates, Cody of James Roofing was the only one who volunteered to come out and place a tarp over the leaking area before the heavy rains started - at no charge, and prior to us deciding which quote we would accept. Cody is great to work with, responsive in answering questions and offering advice, and was patient through a lengthy decision-making process on my part about selection of roof color/materials. Once the project started, he and his team completed the work quickly, efficiently and expertly. Very happy with the process and the end result.

I made a number of on line requests for quotes and James roofing was the first to reply and the first to be at my house to give me a quote. They were not the least expensive but comparable to the majority of quotes I received and no where near the most expensive. After the old roof was removed the original underlaying was in deplorable condition, it was replaced with new sheeting, the roofing material applied and the debris cleaned up and all work performed according to the quote. So many flakes, Cody is definitely not one. I called to get an estimate and he was at my house the next day. Unlike the other roofers, Cody got on the roof, took measurements and spent real time checking out my roof. I had an estimate within a day or two. The price was also reasonable. The roof was just completed, looks great and the clean up by the crew was exceptional! I highly recommend James roofing if you are in need of a new roof.

Very reasonably priced! Even though they had a heavy workload they classified my job as urgent and got to it within just a few days only took about a day and a half for them to finish. Did a great job. I highly recommend them!

Amazing service!! I called and the next day even in a rain storm they were out at my house fixing my roof and they didn’t even charge me! I will be using this company in the spring to replace my roof. I didn’t think companies like this still existed good honest people.

We had our roof replaced this summer with James roofing. It was a quick and seamless job from start to finish. They replaced some boards underneath that were rotted and also found a way to reduce the cost of replacing a skylight. They were easy to work with, very professional and left the place really clean. Cody Agreed to remove my pool house roof. No money exchange .trusses for payment. Deal was remove the roof and put all the debris in one pile and you can have the trusses. I've been picking up nails for about six hours and there are nine piles of debris completely surrounding my pool house, and my pool is completely full of debris. including my entire pool, which now Has to literally be professionally drained and cleaned. they also managed to drop some thing on my $4000 pool furnace and didn't say a word. On top of that they also destroyed two over 50 year old rhododendrons and burning bush that they were specifically told not to touch, by literally setting all of the trusses on top of them, and dragging them through them, and tearing them down. definitely not courteous. Definitely would not recommend definitely not trustworthy. we were quoted a one day project and it's been a two week nightmare.

I hired James Roofing to replace the roof on my vacation home. The project involved the removal of two layers of old roofing and the installation of a new roof. It was a pleasure working with Cody and his team. They have fair prices and they left no mess after the installation. The project went well and I recommend them highly.

We found leaking in our gutter that was potentially causing damage to our interior wall and contacted James Roofing. They were able to come within 2 days and fix the problem for a very reasonable price. Responding so quickly was paramount and they were great!

Rarely does a person find a service that rates above 5 stars. If it was possible, we would give James Roofing 10 stars for the work they did for us when they re-roofed our house.

For us, what started out as a small leak in the ceiling turned out to be caused by other factors. Not only did the shingles start failing, but the roof was never properly installed when the house was originally built, and again 20 plus years ago, when it was re-roofed.

James Roofing responded to our request for a estimate for the leak in a timely manner. Not only that, they arrived early and worked every day until the job was done.

The initial estimate was for what appeared to be a problem for one section of the roof. On further inspection, they realized that the whole roof had some serious issues. Along with the shingles failure, it was never vented properly.

James Roofing was very good at explaining what was wrong and what needed to be done. I believe their charges where very fair. Their crew was hard working and courteous. When it was all over, the house looked great. Their extra effort to clean up the debris was appreciated.

Cody was very professional and timely. He started our roof and finished the complete installation ahead of schedule. His crew worked over the weekend and Pat worked on a Sunday, in the rain, to get everything sealed up. It was a pleasure to have Cody and his crew replace our roof.

As we said, we thought you were great; thus we used you for more than one of our rental roofs. You gave attention to detail, gave a fair quote, did contract quality work, were on time. Worked with us on a 1031 closing time emergency and budget. We have already referred others to your company. Your work/pricing has been consistently good so we don't even have to get additional bids. We liked that a roofing estimate included your remark that a "cleaning"/conditioning and minor repairs might put off replacement for a few years --- we replaced anyway for better future house sale value. Knowing POLITICAL hatreds for petroleum products, we decided that roofing material/labor would probably be higher in the future.

James Roofing did a terrific job re-roofing our home in Lincoln City, OR. They always responded timely and everyone we dealt with at their organization was friendly and professional. I was a little worried because I couldn't be there at all while they preformed the work, but when I was finally able to inspect it, I was very pleased with the quality. I called several roofing companies for a leak that needed to taken care of. James Roofing was the only company that returned my call promptly. Very willing to come and take a look and fix the leak. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly James Roofing was able to come out and fix the leak.

Loren and Cody were great to work with. When they were here to check out my roof one of my vent boots was rotten. Loren got one out of his pickup and installed it so the roof wouldn't leak while we waited for the new roof. Their crew was good to work with and left the property cleaner than when they got here. James Roofing installed a new roof on our home and out building
in May, 2022. The job included tear off, installing new under layment and asphalt shingles, new flashing and clean up. The project came exactly to the bid amount to the penny; no surprises. The crew has a courteous and friendly attitude and are extremely professional, competent and work well as a team. The cost was competitive and significantly lower that most bids; low bidder with James Roofing does not mean shortcuts or sacrifice of quality. James roofing saved us and restored our faith in roofers after having a horrible experience. In January 2021, we hired a Lincoln City roofer to tear off and install a brand new roof at the coast. The first time it rained which was mere days later, we experienced a leak causing damage to our bathroom. We then hired a roofing inspector and learned the entire thing had been improperly installed to the extent that the shingle manufacturer wouldn't honor their warranty. So 8 months after a brand new roof, we hired James Roofing to do it all again - but the right way this time. The crew was on time, professional and made the process painless - even for us gun shy homeowners.
We have just contracted with James Roofing again to replace the roof on our primary residence and will also be having them do a rental house soon.

Soon after we accepted the estimate a date was set for the project; the crew arrived on that date and did a great job. The crew cleaned up the work area, hauled away the old gutters . . .and presented the bill which was less than the estimate. I mention the last as we are seniors on a fixed income and really appreciate the quality of the job done at a reasonable cost.

James Roofing’s Loren, Cody, and Pat showed up on time, worked steadily, and picked up after themselves daily. My roof is steep and high and without easy access; nevertheless, they did the tear-off quickly and left no mess. The new roof is outstanding. I am very impressed.

I had a tree fall on my house during the February ice storm and it did a Lott of damage to my home. A friend of mine who had just had his roof replaced by James roofing reached out to them and Loren, from James roofing contacted me. The roof repair could not take place until the tree was removed, which took 10 days. Loren was not only concerned about the giant tree removal but that my house was protected from the elements. As soon as the tree was removed he was out and got it trapped until the replacement could be completed. Loren, Cody and their team did outstanding work as well as good communicators. My roof looks incredible as well as the rehanging of the gutters. They were wonderful to work with and I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them. Thank you!

They did a great job. Showed up every day on time and finished my complete roof in 2 days. Torn off all shingles, replaced plywood that needed it and put shingles on. Bonus they did a great job at cleanup. Thumbs up.

Cody and his Dad are a great team. They obviously plan the division of work before they arrive on site, so there is no standing around and chatting. They are all business, very professional, and know their job. They repaired ice storm damage on our metal roof, repaired 2 splintered rafters in the attic, took down the old damaged gutters and installed new continuous ones. It rained a few days later and there were no leaks--not even one drip! You would be fortunate if you can get on their schedule, and you will not be disappointed.
