Dakota and Bailey were easy to work with. They were very responsive and kept us updated with what was going on with our build. The quality of our new home is great. I recommend for a custom build. We got everything we wanted right in our price range and with great quality. I also liked how you could text Bailey or Dakota with questions or issues and they were immediate to respond, resolve and clarify.

James Ray Construction built our dream home in 2024 and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. We even won our category in the Parade of Homes.
Dakota and Ryan were on top of it and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Bailey was so helpful at picking out all of the finishes and colors.
They are all very detail oriented and actually listened to what we wanted. They truly brought our dreams to life. We love our home and would absolutely build with JRC again!!

My husband and I built our dream home in beautiful Kanaka Rapids in Buhl with James Ray Construction. We lived in Meridian during this time and Dakota Ray and his team made this the easiest building process we’ve ever had. (Our third build). Their customer service is UNBEATABLE! There was great communication and no unexpected surprises. Bailey helped so much with our color choices and our cabinets that I cannot thank her enough. I had an outstanding experience working with James Ray Construction to build my new house. My wife designed the home of her dreams, and James Ray Construction drew up the plans. Despite being located out of state, I felt completely at ease throughout the entire process. James Ray Construction proved to be trustworthy, reliable, and true to their word.

This was the 3rd home I have built. I interviewed 6 builders and based on JRCs reputation and the recommendations of local land developers and tradesmen, we made the right decision. The communication was excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly everything went with minimal supervision on my end. The attention to detail and quality of work exceeded my expectations, resulting in a home that we absolutely love.

If I could give them NO stars I would. The quality is horrible.. had issues and they wouldn’t respond.. they waited until the year warranty was up, then they responded and said it was too late. Problems with flooring, electrical, windows leak, and many other issues. My neighbors had James ray build their houses and they’ve had nothing but problems as well.
