I received various estimates to install siding to my garage. All estimates from reputable companies with good consumer reviews. The owner Jacob was the most affordable and did excellent work. Him and employee started each day on time, worked hard to finish on schedule. I’m very happy with results!

We initially hired Jacob’s 1 Construction to install all new Marvin windows in our house. Jacob did an outstanding job on the project. We were impressed with his attention to detail and willingness to accommodate our requests. Because of the great work he has done on the windows, we decided to hire Jacob for a much larger project, which was to replace stucco with Hardie siding on both house and garage. The job involved demolition of stucco, installation of facia boards, sofit panels, new gutters and of course James Hardie siding. Once again, we were impressed with Jacob’s professional approach, competitive pricing and responsiveness to our requests during the entire project. He and his crew were very organized, always kept the construction site clean and completed the work in a timely manner. We relied on his professional advice for some design elements and finishing touches.
Overall, we are very pleased with the outcome. We have received numerous compliments from friends, family, and neighbors on how beautiful our house looks with a new siding.

We recently had a small house fire and needed siding replaced. We found Jacob online and he did a great job! Very fast, efficient, reasonably priced, and the most important part is he did a great job! They even hung a few shudders for us we had wanted hung for awhile. Jacob is easy to work with and is very thorough when it comes to the overall process. Initially, I felt a lot of stress about having to replace the sliding patio door, but Jacob made it seem straightforward and simple. From getting the estimate to completing the installation, everything worked out as planned with exceptional quality work; all of his suggestions of direction and results have aligned with, if not exceeded, my expectations.

I first contacted Jacob via the Yelp app and asked for an estimate over the phone. I answered a few questions regarding the type and size of the patio door, and a few hours later, he sent me a quote via text. The price was fair, and most of all, I was very impressed with his online reviews, so I decided to move forward. He came over to measure the old patio door for more accuracy and discussed the details of the product and the installation process. Apparently, he quoted me with the brand I was looking for and matched the color of the siding as I wanted (like he read my mind)! He was friendly and easy to talk to, and I felt confident about my decisions.

On the day of installation, he arrived on time with David, and they went straight to work. He called me a few times to update me on their plan and how they would install the sliding door; hence, I felt included in their work. It took a couple of hours for them to finish up, and they also did a great job cleaning up. On top of the great job of installing the patio door, Jacob fixed the siding underneath to prevent water from leaking into the foundation. Jacob allowed me to take my time to inspect everything and kindly explained how the door worked.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the result. I would definitely recommend Jacobs1 Construction to anyone who is looking to replace the patio door, any windows, or any siding projects!

I contacted Jacob about replacing one window. He was well reviewed on Yelp but I had no other indications about the quality of his work. He was ok with doing a small job. Turns out he was helpful on choosing the replacement, communicated promptly as we waited the weeks for its delivery, and was careful and professional doing the installation. I'll happily contract him again for other home maintenance work.

I would highly recommend Jakub. He responded to my initial inquiry timely and we discussed my window replacement project. He set up time to meet with me and discuss my options. I felt comfortable with him and trusted him immediately, which I don’t do often. I was not wrong to do so here. Once I accepted the quote, he called me when my windows were in and scheduled a convenient time for installation. More important than his promptness and reliability was his knowledge. He explained what was needed to replace my windows (which wasn’t easy due to prior window installation) and showed me how to properly use and maintain. He answered all my questions. He is kind and thorough. I would hire him for window, roofing and siding needs.

Jacob and his crew replaced 24 windows and 4 exterior doors in our very old bungalow. We are very happy with how everything turned out. Jacob came out himself to see the house, and very quickly provided a reasonable quote. When the work began, Jacob was onsite every day, and he and his crew were all very friendly and respectful. Jacob and his crew replaced our roof and gutters, put on leaf guards, and added some house trim. Jacob is very easy to work with, very responsive, and his team members were very considerate and hard working. They did an excellent job, cleaned up everything, took pictures of the entire job so we could see what they saw without having to go up a ladder or on the roof. The cost was below the other 4 bids and was the same quality of shingles and gutter material. It was a pleasure to do business with Jacobs 1 construction.

Jacobs both replaced all our gutters and did a bunch of repairs on the exterior of our house. Everything was done professionally, looks great, and at a good price. Highly recommend.

Hire this guy. Stop wasting time scrolling and checking other reviews. Pretty sure this is the person you’ll want to work with. Very respectful, considerate, and will keep working til the entire job is done right. In my case, he didn’t have to redo anything since they got it right the first time! The only issue was shorter daylight times, but that’s entirely on me since I didn’t make the call til early October. I was afraid no one would work on replacing all my windows and a couple of doors anymore since it’s already past summer but Jacob’s 1 Construction came through. No issue. I will be working with this company again in the future, yes, for other home exterior projects. I got lots of trust issues from numerous bad experiences but Jacob and his crew seem to have brought back my faith in hiring home improvement contractors. Excellent work ethic! There really are still good guys out there!
