I had a leak in July of 2025. Chris came out the next day and addressed everything. Highly professional, responsive, and reliable.

Jack C. Wilson Roofing was just wonderful. They are punctual, call to remind you of everything, polite, courteous, explained everything well, did the whole roof in a day and a half, and beautifully cleaned up the mess. They get an A+++ in my book. And I want to say to Jack C. Wilson, that you have 2 fine employees, Harry & Byron, they couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating, you better hang on to those men!

I had Chris take a look at my roof after noticing some discoloration when blowing the limbs off my roof after heavy wind and rain. Chris looked over every inch of my roof, and thankfully my roof has plenty of life left.

He could have tried to sell me on a repair or replacement, but instead he told me my roof was very healthy and it wouldn't be necessary to spend on repairs or a replacement.

I did need a spark arrestor on my chimney which Chris was able to sort out. He got me a great price, was completely transparent and incredibly patient with my dumb layman-style questions. It's no surprise this company has been operating in Jacksonville for nearly 100 years.

I've dealt with other roofing estimators before, and they had a slimy "salesman-like" approach. Chris and his team were the opposite: personable, honest, and really cool gentlemen. I'd recommend Jack C. Wilson Roofing to anyone needing a roof repair, replacement or chimney work. A great, family-run company that's led by honest local folks.

My insurance company advised me that I needed a new roof. I received five estimates and Jake, with Jack Wilson, Roofing, is the only one who showed me pictures of my roof and discussed problems and solutions. He’s extremely knowledgeable and explained everything in layman’s terms. He was not the “cheapest“ but he explained the difference in what Jack Wilson was offering versus others. Byron supervised the job and could not have been more helpful. He was very courteous and took ownership of the project. Wilson just completed a roof, skylight replacement, and chimney rebuild on our house in the Mandarin area. We were impressed with how smooth the process of getting a bid, selecting a roofer, and getting the roof installed went. No surprises, wild contracts, or missed appointments, just the execution of a very refined process to get a roof completed to specification on time. Very honest company. I contacted Jack Wilson a few years ago about replacing my roof. The roof was 16 years old at the time. After their inspection they said it could go a couple of more years. They were right. Jack Wilson Roofing replaced my roof this week and did an outstanding job. Had to replace a few sheets of plywood and explained the reasons during the installation. Again, very honest and quality company. I highly recommend them.

This is at least the second roof I have had Wilson Roofing install. As with the previous one, the work was outstanding. Clean up was exceptional. By the way, when I have called them to put on new skylights, they showed up and did the job very well and even fixed my problem with squirrels eating the coating off my pipes on the roof. They do it all and they do it very well.

Jack Wilson replaced my entire roof on my 2 story home and separate garage in San Marco. Project was large and involved 11 men. All shrubs, pool and pool equipment, and drop areas for debris's were fully covered with tarps and protected. They did an outstanding job with the removal, new install and repair of rotten wood. At the end of each day, job site was fully cleaned up and magnets swept for nails. No surprises for final billing that was right in line with original estimate. Prior to this full replacement I have used Jack Wilson several times to repair my old roof that was not installed by them. I wouldn’t use anyone else.

Jake, our estimator, impressed us right from the start. He was honest, explained how the process works, and worked with us through the entire process. The team that came on site did a great job and were done in a day. Cleanup was very good and thorough; I did find a few nails, but in some weird places so that should be expected. My parents owned a roofing company for almost 40 years. To my disappointment, my dad wouldn't come out of retirement to do my roof, but he did give input from afar. We had our roof done in mid-March. We got three bids and the only company that diagnosed a problem with the chimney was Jack C Wilson (We had already had problems with the chimney in the recent past and had another vendor repair it--poorly.) Jack C Wilson's results surpassed my expectations! Prior to hiring Jack C. Wilson Roofing Co to replace my roof, I researched and met with several roofing companies. Honestly, I was a bit overwhelmed by the process. The prices varied greatly and some of the reviews were horrific. Finally, I decided to contact the company who originally installed my roof. Yes, this should have been the first thing I did. Please give me a break. The roof was installed almost 25 years ago and my deceased husband handled everything.

Moving on, I mistakenly contacted J. C. Wilson Roofing. I spoke with Grace. She was very kind and demonstrated an extreme amount of patience with me. After researching the companies' database, Grace learned my roof was never installed by J. C. Wilson Roofing. She conducted research and learned the name of the original installer. I was impressed by her kindness.

I was impressed with J. C. Wilson Roofing, Estimator, Harry Leiser. He was detailed and provided me with a list of referrals and customer surveys. More importantly, he provided me with proof of training, business license and insurance. The estimate was reasonable. Harry was upfront and told me that if there was wood damage the cost could go up. I perceived him to be honest. After gathering information about J. C. Wilson Roofing and my original installer. I decided to hire J.C. Wilson Roofing.

On the date of the install, the installers were prompt. I appreciated the respect they demonstrated while on my property. They move items from near the house and placed cloths around the house. Steven Romero was the assigned project coordinator. Steven was kind and professional. He kept me informed and he provided me with photos of the roof throughout the installation. When Steven said my roof had wood damage, it was nice to see photos of the damage for myself.

My roof was completed in one day. The roof is beautiful. The cleanup was immaculate. Steven returned the following day to ensure all of the roofing nails had been collected. The follow up from the company was impressive. I received a call from a kind woman who wanted to know if I was satisfied with the installation. She also told me that if anything had been damaged, the company would take care of it. She scheduled a date for Harry to come back to my home to close out the job. During his return, Harry inspected the job and ensured I was satisfied.

The entire team from Jack Wilson Roofing was very professional. They kept us informed every step of the way in terms of the initial condition of our roof, necessary repairs, and how they were going to deal with problem areas. Of the 3 quotes I got before deciding on Jack Wilson Roofing, they were the only company that actually went up on the roof before giving us a quote. We also appreciated the final inspection by Harry Leiser who had taken pictures of every area of the roof, which enabled us to see the complete replacement. During a storm this fall, a piece of fascia came loose. Calls to the a few roofers all went to voicemail. Called JCW Roofing and my call was answered by a live human! Even better, they were able to send someone the same day to inspect my roof in case the fascia coming loose was a sign of a bigger, impending issue. Kyle was honest with me and said the roof looked sound, and would probably be good for a couple more years. For a very reasonable service fee, he reattached the fascia while he already on-site. I will definitely be giving them a call for any future roofing needs.

The team at Jack C Wilson Roofing did an amazing job. We have had roof leaks and were very concerned about the way in which the leaking areas would be addressed with a new roof. We had 3 estimates and though they were not the least expensive, Wilson was within a reasonable margin. What sold us was Harry’s knowledge of how to fix the areas that were leaking and the stability and longevity of the company. The other companies who bid for this job did not give us great confidence in their ability to fix the issues we were having. We made a mistake going with a company 16 years ago that went out of business and we had to track down one of the prior owners when we had leaks.

The job was done in one day. The team performed like an orchestra and are very good at what they do.

Jack Wilson team was very professional. They came and gave me an estimate before they left. With several alternative material prices and various options work with prices. We scheduled a day and they arrived on time and finished work in 2 days on time. They explained about rotten wood and replacement costs for wood fasia, roof boards, etc. They screened the yard at least 3 times for debri, nails, tiles, etc. Covered and protected all the plants near the house.
They also guaranteed their work for over 5 yrs if I have any problems.I had an asbestos 90 yr old roof and had dreaded getting a new roof but Jack Wilson Roofing made the job so easy and now I have a NEW ROOF. So Happy! Mike

I reached out to Jack Wilson roofing after being stood up by a different roofing company concerning a leak repair. They came highly recommended by several of my neighbors and I'm so glad I called them. From the first call to make the appointment to the finished job, everyone I encountered was so nice. Chris came out to check out what was going on and gave what I felt was a fair price to fix the issue. He also took the time to sit with me and explain in detail with pictures and a typed estimate of what needed to be done to correct the issue. They were booked 2 weeks out but to my surprise they came out within a week to do the repair.
