We hired Andy and his crew to come out and do a fairly small job replacing some vinyl siding and replace and reroute a section of gutter and install and trim out a window We had purchased. Andy listened to what we wanted and spent time color matching the existing materials. His crew were very professional and pleasant. They were meticulous with some details and even went above and beyond in some instances. We are very satisfied with the work they did and highly recommended them. We especially like that he is a local independent business and would look to him again for any future projects ☆☆☆☆☆

After reading the reviews and searching the website, I was VERY impressed and decided to call to inquire about custom vinyl shutters on our beautiful home in the University District in the city of Detroit. First, I was told we were “outside” of their district, then I was told that they would not be able to take on this “type” of job ‍♀️…Really… for a home improvement company???? Needless to say I was VERY disappointed and wonder if our location, size of the project, or both had anything to do with their decision. Not sure, but what I learned from this experience that is worth sharing is apparently don’t call this company if you live in the city of Detroit, or if you don’t have a big enough project. The ONLY reason I gave a 1 star rating is because I had to in order to share this review. Hope this helps.

Andy was very easy to communicate with and scheduling was always flexible. Once we had the schedule established his crews came and got the job done. Roof done day one. Fascia and soffets done day 2. Gutters done day 3. Nothing is cheap these days, but JK Home Improvement does everything they can to make projects like this as palatable for your wallet as possible. Couldn't be happier with the results!

JK Home Improvement repaired our home and replaced our siding after a lightning strike. We could not ask for better service. They were timely, did a beautiful job, were clean and efficient and provided excellent communication at a very fair price. I also have to give them an A+++ rating for integrity and going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction.
They were also willing to work around our schedule and the schedule of our electrician. Could not be more satisfied.

This company came recommended from a family member and from start to finish had a great experience. Always on time when they said they would be here, cleaned up any material's left after installation and did a great job.

Had new windows, vinyl siding, and new gutters installed. The team did a nice job, and made for easy process from start to finish. Compared to other quotes I received, JK had the shortest lead time, a fair price, and an honest sales process. The owner came out for the estimate and was involved throughout. I had to go out of town during part of the install and they kept me up to date with pictures. Overall, I would recommend and use for other projects in the future.

Excellent job. Roof and gutters look great. Great job cleaning up. No shingle pieces or nails left in the perimeter of the house. All and all, very happy!

JK Home Improvement was extremely responsive and quoted quickly. Andy gave us a good price without the sales pitch. Our roof was leaking and they were able to install within a few days. Our roof looks great, and they also cleaned up well.

TLDR: Make sure to get additional estimates, verify the report they are using for their estimate.

I think they do very good work. They get a 3 for doing an extremely inaccurate estimate despite having been on my roof and taken pictures. On the day of installation my roof was already off when they realized they only had half of what they needed and that I had 3 skylights (which were in the pictures they took when they were on my roof for the estimate). In the end I was asked to pay pretty much double the original estimate with a discount for one of the skylights.

This was not money I had budgeted for and am very thankful that my insurance adjuster came back and covered part of the cost.

Again good work, friendly staff, fast service. Just really off on the money stuff.

We had them install vinyl siding, window trim and shutters. Everything turned out great. I would highly recommend for any home improvement!! Very professional, no pressure estimate. consistent work crew finished the job on time.
