Honest hardworking company. Installed roof for house and garage with no issues. Work was completed 2 weeks ahead of schedule and voluntarily lowered the price after install for work they ended up not needing to perform. Protection of plants, property, and cleanup was exceptional.

I recently hired JA Homeworx, LLC for a roofing and siding project, and I regret choosing them for the job. While the initial communication was professional, the final result was disappointing. They subcontracted the work, which I wasn’t fully informed about upfront, and the quality of the work clearly reflected that decision. The attention to detail was lacking, and even today, if you closely inspect my home, you can still see the inconsistencies in the work.

When I reached out to the company to express my concerns—not only about the aesthetic issues but also about water spots and condensation forming on my ceiling—their response was slow. Jeff quickly dismissed my concerns, suggesting I get a second opinion if I wasn’t satisfied with their work or that I could refer to the installation instructions. Upon reading the instructions, I found that their contractor hadn’t fully completed the job, which added more items to the list. They agreed to come back to make repairs, but the crew that arrived simply removed most of the tape I had placed and poorly applied globs of caulk around my home.

I requested another walk-through of my home, and they sent Jordan out. While he was more pleasant and professional, he was still slow to respond and made me feel as though I was asking too much. As of today, four months after the initial work was completed, they’ve fixed what they could, applied a lot of caulk, and hope they've found the cause of the leak on my ceiling but have failed to address the condensation that forms down an entire exterior wall.

Here's to putting this project behind me, while I'll have to learn to accept the poor workmanship, I'm just hoping I don't encounter issues down the road.

What a wonderful company and team! They did replacement siding work on our home. All of the siding did not need to be replaced, just several areas. They had no problem with doing this. We learned a lot about the process. I would use them again when needed and highly recommend that if you need their services, give them a call!

They were very competitive in price, completed the job quickly and exactly as stated in the bid (plus they did a little more than expected - which was a nice bonus). I had major hail damage from June 2022 like most of Oconomowoc. I hired them to do all of the siding on my house aeplace almost every window and having a replacement bay window made to spec. The work crew JA runs with deserve a mention too - a nice group of skilled guys who were respectful, friendly, well organized and efficient - heck even my dog was happy to sneak over and get a few extra head scratches from the crew. Did the roof on our boathouse. They were very efficient and got it done quickly and very well. Cleaned up their mess extremely well. Would highly recommend.

JA installed the Siding on my home, last week. They were by far the lowest quote, exactly half of highest quote. They were fast and efficient, kind and courteous, skilled.

They also provided a lot of verbal promises that they didn't follow through on. The only thing in the written contract that they failed to do was sweep the lawn to collect fallen nails. I've picked up a couple of dozen that were clearly visible.

I would recommend them and use them again.

Hail storm took out Roof and Siding of our property. Met with a dozen different contractors and went with Jeff and Jordan at JA Homeworx after meeting with them a few times and inspecting past jobs they have completed. They rebuilt our entire house. They ordered and installed 3 new doors 7 new windows + trim, replaced all our aluminum siding to LP Smartside, repairing window sills, screens, fascia and soffits, gutters, roof on both house and garage around the property and worked with our insurance to make everything happen.

They even worked with us allowing us to fill their dumpster to haul away a massive amount of concrete we needed removed around the property. Many other contractors would not do this for us.

Jeff also put us in touch with excellent contractors/engineers/masons to build steps, and misc work we also needed done. Everything was beyond reasonably priced and the quality of the work is some, if not the best ive seen. In fact, they even took the time to even make changes to some of the trim after it was already caulked and sealed/completed even though they didnt have to based on what we wanted to make us happy.

The timeline of when the work could be completed was also months ahead of what we expected and their team of 7 or so family that worked on our house for ~2 weeks were all very respectful and clearly skilled in the trade.

They truly went above and beyond to exceed our expectations and highly recommend this Family Run local business if you need any work done.

Jeff and his team from JA Homeworx did a complete roof tear off and installation of beautiful new asphalt shingles along with peak roof venting and replacement of a rubber roof on our sunroom. They also added a solar light which illuminates the kitchen wonderfully. Jeff responded quickly to questions and concerns and I appreciated the honesty and fairness. I can’t say enough good things about this crew. Jeff and his team were fantastic. They are perfectionists and did a great job replacing our roof, gutter repair and replacing the foundation skirting around our home. Each day they cleaned up the debris to where you saw and heard Jeff instruct his team to double check and triple check to make sure all nails and other materials were cleaned up. We used them after a windstorm blew off sections of our roof. They were out the next morning giving us quotes. They worked with the insurance company and they were even able to get it done in a very timely manner. They even did it in winter! It turned out great. Definitely use them for any home construction need!
