We had storm damage to our roof and needed a contractor to do the roof replacement and work with our insurance.

Sam came out and did an inspection and provided his recommendation / assessment of our roof.
Insurance agreed that damage was present.
There was no question we would be hiring Sam to complete the roof replacement as he had already been so informative, flexible with insurance rescheduling inspection dates, and communicative.

I appreciated his honest recommendations, him taking time to review our insurance claim with us and explaining each section, timeliness, staying on schedule, and his professionalism.

Sam and his work crew did a fantastic job on our roof and if we have any future projects for our home, we will definitely be contacting Sam again.

Ironclad construction just finished reroofing our two metal buildings (barn and shop) and did an absolutely great job!! Sam is wonderful to work with. Sam was fantastic. He was very professional and showed up 10 minutes early. I had an idea in mind how I wanted a mirror framed and even though it was a challenge he step up and delivered exactly what I wanted. He also completed the job in a timely manner and reasonably priced. I will use him again.

Sam did a nearly complete finish of our basement including drywall, mudding, taping, painted our unfinished ceiling, vinyl plank flooring, trim, new doors, refinished our bathroom. The outcome was exactly what we were looking for. Sam was easy to work with, professional, and responsive. We will not hesitate to hire Sam for future projects.

It is with pleasure that I write this review. Although our last names are the same, we are no relation to one another. Sam has completed a few jobs for me including installing a bathroom vanity, electrical work and hanging ceiling fans. There isn't a job that I would think twice about contacting Sam. His work is professional, he is always respectful of my home and work schedule. Lastly, the icing on the cake is that he is an honest Christian man. So hire Sam for your next project... I wood!

Sam does great work. We had him remodel our 100 year old bathroom with a new tub and floor and wall tile. He built a new nook and installed a new shower. He attends to detail and kept us abreast of the unforeseen circunstantes he encountered as he poke around this 1911 home.

Sam does the best work around! He puts his heart into every project and his craftsmanship is unmatched. Every job he’s done around the house for me he’s done right, and doesn’t cut corners just to get the job done. From faucet repairs to custom woodwork, he’s the one to call!

Sam is a very reliable person, he knows how to get the job done and he very polite and his pricing is very reasonable, I highly recommend him to help you with your projects.

Sam did a phenomenal job on our basement remodel project. He was great to work throughout every step of the process. He had fair pricing, was always on time, was a great communicator, and cleaned up daily. He also did everything, from carpet removal, floor install, cabinet install, backsplash tile, sink hook up, electrical, baseboards, etc. He went above and beyond our expectations to give us our dream basement, and everyone who sees it thinks it is amazing. We will definitely be calling him in the future for other projects.

I think Sam can do it all. He tiled my basement floor, painted and installed pvc ceiling, remodeled a bathroom, as well as some odd jobs. Everyone who sees my basement loves it.

Ooh, I get to be the first one to review Sam’s wonderful work! We hired him to install our complete IKEA kitchen, and he did an amazing job. He installed click-lock floors, put together and installed our kitchen cabinets, and painted the walls beautifully. He had to do a lot of adjustments to our 100-year-old house to get things true and straight, and he did a marvelous job. We have subsequently hired him for many small projects, including installing a dog door, fixing lamps, and fixing a door opener. We 100% recommend Sam Wood for any handyman or remodeling work for your home!!
