Interlock Metal Roofing - Oregon

We just had our old roof and plywood removed, and new plywood applied and metal roof installed. The on site workers did a great job and a very professional; the job supervisor was not. After the plywood was removed, I could see from a ground level that there was inadequate insulation between the rafters in a vaulted ceiling with plasterboard underneath in the house, and roof on top; no attic. I called the job supervisor to clarify that now would be the time to put in the appropriate insulation between the rafters. He said yes. He said that they don’t do insulation, and they don’t have any insulation people they recommend and I would have to find somebody myself to do it. I was amazed that he was not addressing the issue. I clarified that what he’s telling me is that I need to call a stop to the project on the roof, so that I can hire my own insulation person to come in and insulate before they carry on and cover up the area with the roof in the vaulted ceiling area. I asked him if I’m supposed to be getting up on the roof and inspecting the insulation myself? It just amazed me that he had no recourse for this issue, an issue that must come up with other people. I admit I was talking loud and fast because of his lack of a way to address this problem. I told him “I’ve paid over $100,000 for this roof to go in, and they’re not going to address the insulation in areas where there’s no attic?” His response was “ Dude, I don’t care if you paid a fricking million dollars, you’re not going to raise your voice to me”. We ended up working with the polite contract roofers, we purchased insulation at the local hardware store and they put it in for us. The contractor and the roof were nice, but the company interaction is poor so that’s why I’m giving it three stars

We love our roof! Interlock was wonderful to work with. Very knowledgable and helpful throughout the whole process. The team that installed were amazing and did amazing work. They cleaned up everything in a timely manner. One feedback I would have is giving more updates on when the project was slated to be started, originally was schedule during our vacation and we didn't know til a few days before we left.

Interlock was a great process, their sales team was very helpful and knowledgeable, the install team had the old roofing removed and the new one installed in a few days. We chose the black "slate" panels and it looks awesome and it doesn't sound much different in the rain than our old asphalt shingles. A bit of an investment but I'm glad we went with interlock.

Deciding to switch to an aluminum roof was a significant decision for us, and honestly, the selection process was a bit overwhelming. There are so many styles and finishes available, and it took us quite a while to finally make our choice. If you're considering aluminum, be prepared to invest time in understanding your options.

The installation process itself also took longer than we initially anticipated, especially compared to the asphalt shingle replacements we've had done in the past. This is something to factor into your timeline if you're working with specific deadlines.

However, despite the longer decision and installation periods, we are extremely pleased with the final result. The aluminum roof looks fantastic and has significantly improved the curb appeal of our home. It truly turned out nice.

We were also impressed with the attention to detail shown by Interlock Metal Roofing. They used what appeared to be the correct mounting hardware, ensuring a secure and professional installation. Additionally, they didn't hesitate to replace any damaged or weakened boards as needed, which gave us peace of mind regarding the roof's long-term integrity.

The gentleman was friendly, courteous and patience. He looked at the photos of the leak and was able to determine what the problem was and was able to fix the problem. He also explained the problem to a person who has no knowledge of roof problems..great job!!!!!

Interlock roofing is a very professional group of people from the bottom up. They are patient, kind and understanding of all the problems with modern day roofing. Our entire experience working with interlock roofing has been amazing. I like to say they are faster than Amazon, we were told it takes about three days to complete, when the team got here they did a quick look and said we will be done in two days. It was done in two days just as we were told. They replaced all the damaged wafer board from vents not being properly installed. Fixed and properly installed all of our ventilation, which was just hanging in the crawl space before they replaced it. They cleaned up around the house at the end of each day and cleaned out the gutters. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have a long lasting metal roof and are tiered of trying to get a shingle roof contractor to even come out because shingles are so horrible they are backed up for over a year. Just think of it like this. shingle roofs have to be redone about every fifteen years so the contractors are always backed up and wouldn't give us the time of day. With interlock roofing it's one and done and gives them more time to move on and invest in your needs. They really took the time to listen and care about our situation and did everything they could to help us achieve a beautiful long lasting metal roof that we wanted.

Interlock was great. The roof is beautiful and the crew was great to work with. Everyone we met with was kind, skilled and knowledgeable. Mike and Damon even helped us work with insurance some due to a tree falling on our house. We are extremely pleased with the quality, appearance and fast installation of our new Interlock roof. The crew did awesome work and were friendly and careful. We feel so much safer with the protection of our metal roof on our home, which is surrounded by beautiful fir trees.

It begins with a hard sell and they want a contract signed, money up front before the sales guy (Michael and Damond in my case) leave the house. Fortunately I already had other bids and was focused on interlock at the meeting. This type shingle is what I wanted so the hard sell was just annoying.
I stipulated that I needed 6 skylights to be replaced 4 of them needing electrical and I was to handle the wiring and drywall repairs. I was told I needed to supply the fixtures but they would install them. Damond said the Velux (the brand I had on the roof already) flashing kits work great with their system. I said great because I had these Velux Deck mount for over 20 years and loved them, they the NEVER leaked!
I Emailed Michael and asked what kit works best for their system. He consulted his install manager Patrick. He picked the kit and I bought all the skylights and flashing kits and they were scheduled for the roofing install.

From the beginning we had issues with getting the product through the Canadian boarder. No biggy, just schedule a new start time once it clears.

Parts cleared and I got rescheduled to a Thursday. I reminded Patrick I needed to be there for the skylight install and a few other things, so it's important if anything changes let me know the day before as my schedule is flexible. If it gets postponed I'll just reschedule and go to work.

Wednesday rolls around so I took Thursday and Friday off. I cleared furniture, put down drop clothes and disconnected skylights from the drywall. Took

Thursday morning I waited 2 hrs. Called Patrick and asked where they were. He said they were hung up on a previous job and would be here Friday for sure. Friday comes around. Same thing. Nobody shows. I called again. He say's he's at the home depot getting parts but he will be there....about 6pm rolls around. I've wasted 2 days vacation and one guy shows. His name is Tony. Nice guy. Say's he has no intention of working this weekend and he's burnt out. He's there just to take a look. So Patrick was all lies and couldn't care less about my time. So I went and give him the tour. He points out that the sky lights are too skinny and he's has to figure out what to do to make them work.
Never once did they say extreme modification was needed to both the skylight and flashing nor did they mention it would affect the appearance. I did not question this because I was told the flashing will integrate with their system. At the time of install, I noticed it took Tony a long time struggling and seen he was cutting off parts of the actual skylight material to make them fit. He also had to extend parts of the skylight structure to reposition the factory kit.??? Completely altering the skylight! The install manager (Patrick) Could have prevented this whole issue.
I called Patrick, asked him why when Michael counseled him about the kits for the new not yet purchased skylights, why didn't he suggest curb mount skylights? His response was "I was never asked! I said wouldn't that work better. He said Yes. The man doesn't have a clue about customer service and is a sad excuse for an install manager IMHO. He only returns calls if I bother the sales people and complain. He never followed up on any issues He got combative and denied any liability. Never once acted in a processional manor.

That being said, tony listened to me. Understood I wasn't happy and fixed almost every issue I had. He replaced the hand cut flashing with nice straight flashing on the skylights as I requested.
Another thing. The industry has a special way of forming pipe boot flashing. Interlock don't follow this method. They use caulk to make a barrier to keep blowing rain from shooting up the shingle cut-out. This is fine in theory i suppose, but caulk doesn't set up quickly They put the caulk in and install the next course. So what inevitably happens is they walk on it destroying the barrier sticking to the top creating a big useless mess under the shingle If you use this company I highly suggest you, or have someone take a look up close at the work.

Interlock roofing is a fantastic company and the representative, Damon, was incredible. Always there to answer questions in a quick timely manner. I couldn’t be happier. This Aluminum roof will never need to be replaced and it makes my simple home look like a million dollar home. It’s stunning. I chose black slate and it is so beautiful. Such peace of mind too. I would highly recommend this company and its employees. The installation crew were professional and careful and accommodating. Thank You Damon and Interlock Roofing.

Interlock handled our roofing project with skill and expertise. Many other local roofers ran away from even bidding the job due to the complexity of our roof line. The result is exquisite and I'm hopeful any further service needed over the years will go just as smoothly as the install did.

Our 18 year house needed something. A local roofer suggested a$ 5 K, roof treatment with yearly treatment of $1000. And a roof replacement with shingles at 60K.
We looked into Interlock. I was impressed with the product and the absence of middlemen between installation. And quality if the product. The investment was significantly higher but we were impressed and felt it would be the best choice.

Originally my house had an aluminum shingle roof by Fin-all. Eleven years later, after an oak tree fell across my house , my insurance company installed a steel shingle roof because they said Fin-all was no longer in business. I was disappointed because I felt the replacement roof was not up to the standard of the aluminum roof that I originally had. Then we had a bad ice storm that broke huge branches from all the trees - sending a large branch spearing through my roof. After failing to be able to find out what kind of roof the insurance company had installed on my house they finally agreed to replace the entire roof again. After much research I finally found Interlock. I found out from Damon that Interlock is actually the company that bought out Fin-all; my original roof! Even though interlock was more expensive than any other estimate I received my insurance company accepted their estimate. All this to say: Interlock is even better than my original roof because they have made improvements on the original design and the quality is obviously better than the steel shingles that were replaced. The Interlock crew chief took the time to explain the differences in manufacturing and installation -Interlock is sturdier and has better texture for a much more appealing look. Both my previous roofs would take damage if walked on but because of the design and texture in these new shingles, they are much sturdier. I am confident that I now have the best roof on the market- and an excellent warranty as well!!

Over eight years ago, I needed a new roof on my over 100 year old house and after significant research, decided to use Interlock Roofing. The installers arrived on time, were professional and completed the job as expected.
A few months ago, my shop was in need of a new roof and I needed to do no research- I called Interlock, without hesitation. Working with Ross and Mike was very easy. I expected to have the work started sometime in the summer. But then I received a call that there was an unexpected break and that Interlock could start that day. I readily agreed, and the installers arrived by mid-morning. Once again the installers were polite, professional and were finished quickly. They cleaned up the site well. I am as happy today as I was years ago with Interlock. I have since added another project and am eagerly awaiting Interlock to complete it. I have no doubt that I will receive the same great product and professional installation.

I wish there were a 4.75 rating, or something between 4 and 5, because although we are quite happy with our new roof...my policy is *never* to give a 5 out of 5 rating (because there is no such thing as perfection, and when everyone gives 5 stars, as seems to be the case nowadays, then 5 stars means nothing).

We now have a beautiful (just ask our neighbors, several of whom have made it a point to tell us that they love it), but more important, high quality, life-guaranteed interlock roof. This is on the Oregon coast, and if you live on the coast or know anyone who does, you may know that "beach time" prevails, and local work crews will often start a job and disappear for "surf's up" or other beach distraction/things. Not in this case. What our friends (who had an interlock roof installed, several years ago) told us was was true: when the interlock installation crew was here, they *worked,* long and hard, and as long as the light (and weather conditions) would allow.

The installation went smoothy, save for two glitches: (1) a gap due to the weather (not sure why the scheduler scheduled our project to start when the forecast clearly was for rain); (2) the person who measured our two skylights, which were being replaced as part of the installation, ordered the wrong size (which added another half day on to the installation, as the installer crew lead had to drive to Portland to get the correct size). But neither of those two glitches were the installation crew's fault, and we were impressed with the crew's work, their friendliness, and their cleanup afterward (and every day of the job - they did not leave trash lying about).

I did my research before comparing and checking out varous kinds of roofs (e.g. comp; metal) and was highly motivated to get the interlock roof, and am glad that we did so. Bring on the hurricane, we are not afraid!

After considering several different types of roofs and several different roofing companies for our house on the Oregon coast, we settled on Interlock Metal Roofing. We were not disappointed. Although it took about 8 months for the installation to happen due to weather, crew availability, and supply chain issues, it was worth the wait. The roof is beautiful and will last for many, many years. In addition, having the company that makes the roofing materials do the installation means that you have expert people installing the roof backed by expert people who know the product. We went with the Interlock Slate roof in black. It's stunning! Along with durability, the roof dresses up an otherwise plain house. An Interlock Metal Roof is not inexpensive. The cost can be a bit of a shock at first. But it's well worth the money.

Beautiful roof, replaced 44-year-old concrete tile. Installers showed up when scheduled, were conscientious and knowledgeable. They were hardworking, even in difficult cold weather. Communication was challenging while waiting our turn, but this was addressed. Ten stars for all of you!

From the ordering process that began in January to the actual install of the roof in November, the communication could have been better. The charcoal gray "slate" roof was installed a few days ago and we just had a tremendous rain storm, the roof did amazing. The workers who showed up were fast and professional and finished the job in 3 days. After they were done they did a thorough site cleaning. The roof was definitely more costly than a conventional shingle roof and took some extra effort and delay to get scheduled, but we believe it was well worth it.

UPDATE: Two months after installation and first torrential rain of the season, the ceiling under the dining room bay window developed leaks, one so serious that the paint bubbled outward over a wide area and we had to put multiple tubs on the floor to catch the rapid-fire drips onto our hardwood floor. The installers were up tending to the problem within a couple days so max points for responsiveness, we'll see how well the fix does in the coming days and update accordingly.

ORIGINAL: The charcoal gray "slate" roof was installed weeks ago and thus far, after multiple rain storms of impressive ferocity, has proven itself admirably. In no small part thanks to the week's worth of conscientious install work by Anatolii, Yevgen, and their Kazakh crew, which included immediate attention to remedying any small hitches that came up along the way and a thorough site cleaning at job's end. The roof is a bit more costly than conventional alternatives (although not nearly so much more expensive as we were initially led to believe), and took some extra effort and delay to get scheduled, but was well worth it -- we look forward to never again replacing a roof for the duration of our residency in this house.

My wife and I chose the cedar shake look. It turned out very nicely. The crew took the time they needed to do the job right and explained the steps they were taking along the way. If you are looking for a high quality, long lasting, product that will impress, look no further.

We are completely satisfied with our beautiful new roof. We had an old concrete tile roof before which had developed a few leaks and was extremely heavy for our 1960s house to continue to support. I love the look of a tile roof and really wanted to continue with something that looked similar. Interlock produces a tile look roof which I fell in love with. Yes it is more expensive than most other roofs but the benefits make it worth it in our opinion. The aluminum roof will last for longer than we will, it is the lightest roof we could get and we have definitely noticed the difference in how cool the house has been since it was installed. The garage has been a good 10 degrees or more cooler and is actually comfortable to work in now!
The crew of young men who did the installation were fantastic. Victor and his crew had the tile roof and the composition roof underneath torn off and disposed of in two days and the new roof on and the yard completely cleaned up in another two. This was during 100+ degree weather.
We had an all-around wonderful experience with Interlock and definitely will recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof. We think our roof is the prettiest one in the whole neighborhood!

I had a "slate style" metal roof installed by Interlock Roofing and these guys are great! They were so polite and fast, they got my whole roof done in just two days and cleaned up the site perfectly. I would highly recommend them.

Everything went smoothly from sales to installation. Installing a metal roof was more expensive than most other materials, but it’s going to last 40 years+ and the warrantee can be transferred to the next owner. We’re not handy and this is a huge peace of mind. We loved that this company does not subcontract and actually trains its crews on how to exclusively use their system of interlocking roof tiles. Because of this, the crew gets to work straight away, knows what their doing, and finish quickly. The things that took the longest to install were the skylights because they had to be custom made. That said, they placed a sufficient cover over the holes on the roof that held up to rain and tree debris. Interlock was easy to work with and we love the results!

Scheduling the installation was a real bear; it kept getting delayed. Ultimately, it took 9 months from when we put our deposit down to when the roof was installed. That said, the installers were top-notch. They were quick, clean, polite, and answered all our questions. We absolutely love the roof and the two solar tubes they installed. Our neighbors all rave about how nice the house looks. They can't believe it is a metal roof. (We had the metal "cedar shake" style installed in charcoal gray.) I would definitely recommend them, but be patient with scheduling.

We had a gorgeous Red Shingle Interlock roof installed and it had completely changed the look of our house! This roof was a long time coming…we placed the order in September 2021 and knew there was a 6mo wait but we were determined to wait it out and it was so worth it!
The crew worked so fast and efficiently and really did a fantastic job. They were also super clean and made a great effort to leave no mess behind and even took care not to crush my plants.
This is an expensive roof, make no bones about it, but the quality and durability as well as the beautiful look all are worth it.

Company was very attentive to keep us updated on timing for installation. I like the roof, we were looking forward to never having to replace the roof again. It developed a leak, I called they charged $250.00 to come out to look they took pictures, I was told they would contact me, 2 weeks later I called, They apologize and said they would get back to me, after a week I called again, same thing they have'nt called. So all I have to say they don't fix their leaks.

From start to finish the folks at Interlock were amazing. After our home was damaged in last years wildfires in rural Oregon; we made the decision to replace the roof and siding in nonflammable materials. Our roof is beautiful. We had an Interlock roof installed May of 2020. We are very pleased with how the installation went. Very professional workers. Very easy installation process. We chose this roofing system not only for the longevity and the warranty but for the beauty of it. It looks fantastic! We have had many neighbors stop to say how nice it looks and get more information on who we used.

It has now been nearly six months since our Interlock roof installation, and we couldn't be happier with it. We debated getting a metal roof due to the greater upfront costs relative to a standard composite roof, but we're not planning on going anywhere anytime soon, so the peace-of-mind of a lifetime roof -- knowing we won't have to do this again, and that the company stands behind the product the way they do -- makes it worthwhile. The installation crew was professional, and their customer service has been responsive when needed. Neighbors have commented too on how good our roof looks! Recommended!

Looks great,unlike the common metal roofs you see.And being aluminum it won't rust out. Recently we had freezing rain which caused some tree limbs to break off and fall from a tree close to our house which demolished one gutter and part of another one,also partially smashing a roof vent ; but the metal roof held up supprisingly well. We also had a forest fire this past summer before putting this roof on that came close.A metal roof is just a little more deterent you can add against such events.5 stars.Damon,the installers,and everyone at interlock were wonderful and easy to work with.THANKS .

My House is surrounded by fir trees, so needles and buds are a problem always. Once the moss starts, your roof deteriorates much faster. I had an excellent conversation with Damon and found him knowledgeable and well received. I refinanced the house and boom! The installers were clean, courteous, and efficient.

So I needed to get a new roof on my 1925 farm house and I wanted to get something that would last the rest of my lifetime; a metal roof was the right call. After looking online at different companies and getting a couple quotes, I decided to go with interlock. Damon showed us how the roof is installed and the interlocking shingles sold us. We had crazy wildfires here in Oregon 2020 that messed up a lot of schedules but the company was very responsive and accommodating. Victor was the lead of the installers and they were timely, friendly, professional in appearance and a pleasure to have onsite. They were very respectful of our property and cleaned up all the debris that comes with roofing. I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants a metal roof to last. I was amazed at the size of the roofing materials and their parts. Their roofing materials do “InterLock” to become a roof where water cannot find a way through it. The crew was very professional in their manner and expert in removing the old roofing material, then installing the new. They answered all my questions so I could completely understand their answers. The crew really impressed me by how quickly they completed the job.
We had them replace some exposed beams in our alcove. The workmanship was great.
The crew also did a great job of policing up our yard after they had finished the roofing. I recommend InterLock roofing to anyone who needs a new roof.

I looked into replacing my roof and found that with modern composite shingles I will end end replacing it numerous times in my lifetime. With Interlock it's one and done. The roof I got was red aluminum in a slate style and it looks great; best roof in my neighborhood, hands down. In fact it's fun to see cars driving by and notice the driver staring at the new roof. Also, I've received numerous compliments from passersby about how great the roof looks. Other points are that the install was quick and skillful and needless to say, I have no leaks.

Ross took us through all the details, which helped us decide. The installers were extraordinarily efficient. Now we've got an excellent new roof (the green gives a wonderful pop of color). The best part is knowing we're not going to have to think about replacing it again. Thanks!

So after the snow and ice storm last month my metal roof still looks great and for the first time in 22 years I didn't have to worry about losing shingles in the storm

Living in the Pacific NW, we have a lot of rain and my old roof decided it was done. I checked into many types of new roofs and found this to be the best on the market. It has been on my house for 4 months and is doing a great job. When it rains, the roof is not noisy and we have noticed our heating bill has dropped. I like the fact that I don’t have to get on the roof anymore to clean the moss off it either. This is truly a lifetime roof. You will not meet a nicer group of installers either. They worked in the rain and kept me informed of what they were doing. They also cleaned up everyday so it didn’t look like a construction site. It was a pleasure doing business with Interlock. Excellent product and insulation was also excellent. I would recommend this product as the last roof your house will ever need. The fir needles wash off with a good rain and the slate roof looks just like slate. AAA+++

We added a beautiful slate Interlock roof to our garage/shop. The temperature difference through the summer has been dramatic. You can go out there and work even if it's 90+ degrees outside (no, we don't have A/C out there). We've been impressed with the product thus far and plan that when our house needs a new roof, we will go with Interlock again to match the garage's roof.

Be aware that the price is higher, but you're paying for quality, consistency, and piece of mind. I can't wait to put this roof on our house because I know the upstairs temperature will be greatly reduced and likely we won't have to run our A/C hardly at all since our basement and main floor stay cool anyway. If you are staying in your home or planning to keep it for a long time, Interlock metal roofing should be your first choice. They have all sorts of styles that will fit your home. At least give them a chance to explain and show you why their product is great choice.

Update on my Interlock Roof System. I encourage you to read all of this review, because it has a very important element to it, and it might surprise you.

I had the roof installed 2 years ago, & as noted in my original review below, the subcontractor at that time was less than attentive. Turns out, his crew was, too. In late 2020, there was a pretty significant leak into the kitchen from the sola tube, which prompted a repair call. The responses from customer service were a bit iffy, but Ivan (super knowledgeable guy) came out to inspect the leaks. At that time he also investigated the leaking behind the gutters & facia boards that had been happening right from the beginning. Apparently there was excessive condensation happening above and below the waterproofing, & it was a mystery why that was happening. It took two attempts to fix the leak into the kitchen, & a few more inspections to investigate the failing roof. There several visits and emails, & finally, in early 2021, I found it necessary to formally executed a warranty claim on the roof to HQ in Canada. I expected resistance.

Here is the great part. Not only did Interlock Roofing take my warranty claim seriously, having Ivan come back yet again & open up a portion of the roof to inspect further; Mr. Yvon Giroux, VP of Installation in Canada, decided to have his best crew come out & completely tear off not only the Interlock Roof, but the asphalt roof underneath it as well, & start from absolute scratch. A fully new installation.

To no one's surprise, they found mistakes were done by the first subcontracting crew (who didn't work for Interlock very long that year). I can tell you, the crew that came out last week were top notch. I haven't seen that amount of dedicated hard work in a very long time. It was obvious right from the start this crew was knowledgeable & well polished.

I am so impressed with the Interlock Roofing System, the Company, and their integrity! The tear off, any repairs, & full installation was done in 2 days. Right after, we had several days of heavy rain. Not. One. Drip. Anywhere.

The roof is even more attractive and beautiful than before. Interlock earned every one of their 5 stars. The roof is amazing, and I am one very satisfied customer.

The roof is amazing. It looks great and the neighbors compliment it all the time. Big bonus is I have hardly used my air conditioning at all this year. What Interlock told me appears to be pretty spot on as far as the roof keeping the house cooler during hot weather. And finally, I really enjoy not having to get up on the roof several times a year to maintain it, knowing it is going to outlast me.

The company was very gentle with us when we asked to postpone our fall scheduled installation for a few months due to a series of deaths, and as soon as weather permitted in the spring, we had the roof installed.
The only thing that I was not thrilled about was when the installers arrived, I found out they were not employed by Interlock, as we were led to believe when we signed the contract last year. Quite honestly, had I known the installation was sub-contracted out, it would have been a deal breaker and I wouldn't have signed the contract. The sub-contractor was often busy with his other business needs and wasn't always on site during the installation. I understand his crew might only work on Interlock installations, but the owner of the contracting business was not solely dedicated to Interlock. He was a really nice guy, but not super attentive to my questions or concerns, which came back to haunt him later. I had requested a customer service follow-up after the installation that took a couple of months to have my concerned addressed fully.

The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the sub-contractor instead of employees for the install, and the fact the customer service response was pretty slow. In the end, Interlock made good on everything. I still recommend them as a company, and I definitely recommend the roof.

They installed an amazing IB membrane that makes the house look great. They suggested this product for my price range and expectations for a lifetime roof!

Interlock Roofing did a very good job of installing our roof. I was worried that it would be a little too hard to do this in the middle of winter, but they did a great job. I would recommend this company to anyone contemplating a metal roof for their home. The only negative comment I have is the clean-up could have been a bit better. I covered my gutters after the roof was installed, and found a lot of debris in the gutters as well as on the ground. The debris were mostly pieces of cut metal tiles with very sharp edges. In fact I found this debris on the ground for several months after the job was completed. I suspect that the installation crew was cold and tired and may not have taken as much time as they normally would have because of the weather. Our expectations of this medium ( metal) was fully confirmed and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Thank you

We live in Tigard Oregon. We were able to schedule the installation of the new roof just before the Rainy season began. We had the old shingles removed and found that our plywood was rotting and that it could not support the nails for the new metal roof. Interlock removed the rotting plywood and then we found that some of the supporting roof truss pieces were also rotting and cracking. So Interlock also replaced them. The price for the additional work was reasonable and though it all took longer to accomplish the goal, they worked hard and efficiently and it was completed before it began raining seriously. We continue to be thankful and we enjoy our new roof!

We had our roof replaced about 1.5 years ago with Interlock and the experience was amazing. They were easy to schedule, matched their estimate to the cent, helped us find a great financing company, and were ahead of schedule. The whole process from meeting & picking from a great selection to watching them tear down layers of shingles and apply a seamless roof was impressively efficient. It still looks amazing, and we’ve had no problems. I’d highly recommend them & their products. Our house is a ton lighter, easier to maintain and is more efficient to heat & cool. Great product, great selection, and great company overall.

I've had this roof for about 18 months now. I am very happy with it and was quite pleased with the pre-sale discussion and the actual installation. I never thought a roof was something that you would get compliments on, but I certainly get them. I figured why get a roof that would last me for 5 to 10 years when I can get one that will last virtually my lifetime? Very happy all around.

Interlock installed a roof at our Tigard home in 2004 and it still looks brand new. When it was time to replace our Lincoln City house's roof at the beach, we did not hesitate to call them again. They work so hard to please and both roofs are beautiful.

As a retired civil engineer I bought the roof for seismic purposes. The existing asphalt roof weighed over nine thousand pounds (8 1/2 tons). This one weighs about 800. That's like taking two full sized pickup trucks off the top of your house.

The interesting part has been temperature. The aluminum dropped the summer temperatures in the house dramatically. The attic cools very quickly after the sun drops. Yes, even in black. Aluminum, regardless of he color does not store heat.

This is not only a beautiful roof but it was very nicely installed by two guys that really cared about what they were doing.
