iFOAM Insulation of Layton

Two young installers arrived both of who were professional, friendly, hard working, ambitious and prompt. The company answered all of my questions and helped me navigate the tax credit for our return next year. We've already noticed a difference in how long it takes to cool down our house on a warm day now that we are up to code.

What a difference iFoam makes! From the first day of starting insulation, the quietude, warmth, quality and smallest details of a well-insulated home were noteworthy. The technicians took great care of my new home from beginning to end, cleaned up afterwards, and the scheduler always kept me in the loop. I highly recommend iFoam Insulation! 10/10 will use this company again.

Came in very competitively priced and followed up with great service. Also were very helpful with filling out rebate form. If you need insulation, you only need to make one call!

We out on a new addition to our house.At the last minute we decided to use I foam insulation out in instead of fiberglass. I foam was real quick and it made a world of difference keeping the heat in and the noise out. We live near the freeway and a close by train and we hardly hear them any more. Thank you Ifoam.

I had them spray my barn type house a few months ago. I wanted to wait until temps got cold to really evaluate the insulation.
I got 4” of closed cell and 5” of open cell in the ceiling. 4” closed cell in the walls with 1.5” open cell. My drywall and paint are done. I heated my house (hydronic floor heat) to 72’ for several days. Temps we nice and stable. Then i shut the system off for a couple of days. I only lost 2’f in 24 hours!!! Well worth the cost.
Note: this is a messy process but they did a great job cleaning up. I HIGHLY recommend this company!
I feel they under estimated the time for the job but they stuck to their bid amount. They kept their word. Difficult to find these kind of people these days…

The iFOAM team did a fantastic job. We had two buildings in which they installed 1.5 inch of closed cell foam and another 6.5 inches of open cell foam insulation. The team was professional, punctual, and above all… did a fantastic job. We are looking forward to hiring them for our future projects. Overall a fantastic value and experience!!

I recently had them add insulation to my attic as well as do all of the insulation on an addition project we were working on from the exterior and interior walls to the attic as well as the crawl space.

They do everything from traditional fiberglass to closed cell spray foam. Really competitive pricing and excellent service all the way!

I will never use anyone else and would highly recommend giving them a call if you need any type of home insulation work done!

I Foam was very pleasant to work with. There sales person Ole is extremely knowledgeable and explained much more than I ever thought about insulation which I really appreciated!
There installation crew was top notch in my book and trust me that’s something that rarely happens due to my attention to detail and finishes, they went above and beyond with there install of what was required in what was in my contract. They went as far as installing insulation that had fallen out of my walls in areas and they also noticed that my roof has been leaking in areas that I would have never know about. That alone is going to save me so much down the road I cannot express my gratitude enough to those gentleman.

Easy to work with, crew was great and cleaned up when done. Best thing is our temp inside is not skyrocketing each afternoon like it normally does in the afternoon heat. Definitely feeling the difference!

iFOAM was awesome to work with, they helped me spray foam a vaulted ceiling that needed an R38. With their expertise they recommended what needed to be done to archive the required R-value. We used iFOAM to insulate our new build home. They were so nice and easy to work with. They answered our millions of questions and were happy to do it. They worked fast and came in and got the job done. They did a great job! We can already tell a difference in how well our house maintains its temperature. We have an unfinished basement and we will for sure be using them again when we finish it.

IFoam was amazing. Everyone we worked with was so friendly that they made the experience great. They were very accommodating and explained all of our options in an easy to understand way. I would recommend them to anyone!

Oly was very patient and accommodating as I had to change dates on them a couple of times. Once we were able to get started the process went quick. A very noticeable difference in our shop now holding in the heat. The price was exactly what I was quoted 3 months in advance, and I went with them because they were the lowest of 3 quotes.

I was really impressed with how fast they were able to get my trailer in to have the roof spray foamed. I will be definitely using them again in the future

iFOAM was great to work with and they did a fantastic job. We had to move the start date due to some inspection delays, and they were very flexible. On the start date, they walked our space and listened to where we did and did not want to spray. We were really pleased with how it looked after, the quieter floors, warmer space, and especially their cooperation. The only hiccup we had, was that we weren't informed how long we needed to stay out of the house (the tech told us minimum of 2 hours, various google searches said 16-24 hours), we played it safe with little kids in the house, and luckily we had somewhere to go, but that should have been communicated during the estimate so we could have planned better.

Very good about scheduling and getting it done. Found a few different holes and brought to my attention that it needed to be done as well. Clean for a spray foam job. Polite crew.

I love my foam installation. It looks great and my post barn is quieter (no rain drop noise) and is a stronger structure and perfectly air tight.

iFoam sprayed the new addition part of the house. Wish the whole house was a new build so I could have the whole thing spray foamed. Installers were top notch. I'll be back when the next project is ready.

Bottom Line: I used to own an insulation contracting business in Pennsylvania. I highly recommend iFoam and hope to use them again for an upcoming renovation project.
My Experience: I needed to insulate my garage walls (blown-in fiberglass) and attic (spray foam). I just moved to UT so I didn't know any local insulation contractors. In addition to iFoam, I called two other contractors. One came out to estimate the job but never gave me an estimate, even after I followed up with the company and asked for the estimate. The other contractor never called back. iFoam responded quickly to my first call, estimated the job, scheduled the work and completed the project in a reasonable period of time. There was one scheduling hiccup but iFoam communicated well about the issue. Most important, their field technicians were courteous and competent, the work was professionally done and the end result is exactly what I expected. One more thing... It's not easy for a contractor to work with a person who has specific experience in their trade. iFoam patiently answered all of my technical questions and worked to be sure that my expectations were met. I couldn't have done the work better myself.

iFoam put insulation in our home and they did an excellent job. They were on time, friendly, professional, and cleaned up when done. We are very happy with the price and service. Highly recommend iFoam.

Mike and crew did a perfect job insulating my garage attic. Not an easy job as my attic is a flat roof, web truss design. In fact it's very difficult, but somehow he smiled through it all. He really cares about his work and if you are satisfied..

Ifoam did a great job and was very competitive. They had to insulate to utah building code standards to pass inspection and they mitigated anything that was called out by inspectors. I highly recommend you get a quote from them when you are looking for bids on your job.

IFoam was very quick to respond and schedule an appointment.
i was easy to contact and work with the staff.

They had some technical difficulties with the spray equipment but they secluded another appointment and fished the project.

I was able to get the project to pass the inspection. The inspector was a little rough and requested addition information on the type of foam installed. IFoam emailed the requested product info to the inspector with in minutes. Great job.

The only thing I would suggest is on the second visit no masking was used and there was foam on the walls and ceiling that needed to cleaned up and sanded off.

The crew had to return to do a better job and get better coverage. The price was good and they will do their best to make it right.

Derek was great to work with when we began looking at new insulation, definitely someone we trust to talk us through the options. The team that came to install the insulation was friendly and professional. They did a great job taking out old insulation and stayed late to finish up the job. Would recommend to others anytime.

Although I’ve remodeled lots of homes I didn’t have a current insulation contractor I was comfortable with. In an online search I came across I-Foam and requested a bid. My project included a Shipping Container and yard shed so that meant a combination of spray foam and fiberglass bat insulation.
Brandon and Jeremy came to look at and bid the job. Mike and Jeremy came out to do the work. From the minute they showed up to the final clean up I was impressed. Top notch professionals who listened to and met my needs exactly and exceeded my expectations. They met my schedule and beat all competitors prices. They showed up on time, did an excellent job, and cleaned up thouroughly. Their demeanor, work, and equipment all showed pride in themselves and their company.
I highly recommend I-Foam and wish all contractors would strive for such high standards.

iFoam in Layton is hands down the best insulation company around. I had been researching all the companies around in preparation of building my home and most were hard to get ahold of or just never showed up. Casey at iFoam is as good as they get. Him and his crew were very knowledgeable about all things insulation and did a fantastic job with a combination of spray foam and batt insulation. He took the time to explain what would work best for my home and even suggested a less expensive option that would work just as well. They also had to work around our contractor who had to postpone them a couple times but they were very professional and flexible and got the job done on a tight deadline and short turnaround and pretty sure it was on the coldest snowiest day of the year. If you are looking for a solid reliable insulation company that knows their stuff and will give an honest consultation and competitive pricing then iFoam is the way to go.

IFoam is a great company to go to for your insulation needs. We added an additional 5 offices to our shop building & they did spray foam, batt insulation, & shot in insulation for the ceiling. Casey is very professional & easy to work with. The install crew worked fast & efficient and finished faster than originally scheduled. I highly recommend using ifoam for any insulation needs.

The guys at ifoam are true professionals. I’ve been very impressed with the insulation solutions they have to offer. Very nice and professional to work with. Highly recommend. So far I have seen a tremendous value in the closed cell foam and insulation bats they installed in my ceiling. Really seems to sound proof and keep the warmth in and cold out.

We are very happy we had the iFoam crew install our insulation in our building remodel on main street in Bountiful. Their pricing was competitive and their installers were very detail oriented.

Don't waste your time. Excited to meet them at the home show and scheduled a time for them to give me a bid. They took some measurements and then disappeared... Called back inquiring about the bid 3 weeks later to have them tell me that they might have to come back out to give me another bid as they don't have any record of visiting my house but would call me back. Now 2 weeks later, I called the number listed on the website, they say they don't have any record of me and questioned me if it was really their company that came out. Was told it was iFoam if the site doesn't say iFoam insulation then it wasn't them. Told her the site I got the number from and the logo on the business card in my hand matched the logo on the website but neither had 'insulation' in the name.

IMO: Save yourself the time and don't bother calling unless you like to chat to random people that you won't have anything come out of it.
