Chris is an excellent home inspector. He's knowledgeable, honest and thorough. He's able to discuss all aspects of what to expect in the area and in the properties. He knows what is "normal" and when to call in the marines. His calm demeanor is a bonus to experienced buyers as well as first time buyers. He is preferred among other professionals for all these reasons. We got lucky when he was recommended to us.

Very professional and timely. Terry called on a regular basis and walked us through the timeline and process. Upon receipt of report it was very thorough and easy to follow. Items of concern were referenced by a picture and in a few instances included a video providing an excellent illustration of the issue.

Terry has exceptional customer service skills- she worked hard to coordinate all involved in the process with scheduling, educating, following up, and all the things!!!! And Chris’s meticulous work and care when installing the mitigation system was top notch!!!

If you have a home….get it tested for radon! And if the home has a high radon level, use Housemasters to help you manage the situation. It is totally figure outable!

Excellent and thorough report provided the next day. I spent a couple decades certifying systems on submarines and evaluating deficiencies found. If I still did this kind of work I would want these guys on my team.

This was my first home inspection so I have nothing to compare it too, otherwise I may have gone a five. The home inspector spent about three hours inspecting the home and gave a very detailed report. I was impressed.

I've used this company twice and they are very detail oriented, and they take a ton of photos which is very helpful because i live out of state. Also they were nice enough to come back and reinspect the roof because there was snow on it. 5 stars I would highly recommend.

Excellent home inspection. Chris Herman was extremely thorough, timely and responsive. He answered all of our questions and was very diligent in writing up the report. Highly recommend.

We hired House Master to do a home inspection and they came out did the inspection and besides some minor issues the house according to House Master the house was in perfect condition we were buying the house remotely. After we moved in we found out that the house had just fell out of escrow because of the home inspection with the previous buyers. Their home inspection company listed major foundations issues, the garage was caving in, cracks everywhere through out the house some of them were 6 feet long, the windows and doors would not open or shut, water lines were broken, water damage throughout the bottom of the house, all major issues. Not one of these issues were listed in House Master report. We gave that inspection report to Chris Herman the owner of House Masters and he came out and looked at the house took lots off pictures and turned it over to his insurance company. They denied that any of these issues were House Masters fault for not dis closing them to us. We have over 100K in damages and House Master said the house was in perfect condition. The INS company did not even send anyone out to the house to see any of the issues they did not ask us any questions even though we sent pictures, videos, expert contractor reports, we sent them more proof than you can imagine and these issues were easy to see for a home inspector the foundation repair company and a structural engineer all confirmed the issues and all said how could a home inspector miss ALL of these issuers. Bottom line I would not ever use House Master ever and their INS will never pay and just denied everything without even coming out to the house or doing an investigation. Leo from Capital Claims made us 2 low ball offers and then said they are not at fault..Bottom Line this is as bad as it gets and we are now stuck with 100K in repairs. And we are now going to have to sue House Masters in court and our lawyer cant believe they did such a bad job and so unprofessional. Whats so crazy to me is the previous buyers inspector found all the issues and were in the inspection report and House Master found ZERO issues like zero, how is that possible.?? The INS company job is to not pay no matter what so just know if you have this issues you will not be paid a dime. And the stress is so much....Call anyone else other than House Master and Chris Herman....Bad company bad INS and bad people...

Very high quality and in depth inspection. Videos were included which was nice since we were not able to be at the inspection in person. We also were called to make sure we didn't have any questions. Highly recommend!
