- I had an expert come out to provide a quote... But neither he nor the company ever got back to me.

- The person answering the phone sounded like she didn't want to talk to me as if I were bothering her.

Our technician was outstanding and fast! He was professional, friendly and did a great job.
However the pricing was a bit interesting in our case. The work took 30 minutes. The job is estimated on an hourly rate, the customer has to pay for the first hour regardless, even if the technician only take 15 minutes to get it done. After the first hour your billed in 15 minutes increments unless it goes to the next hour. So, we were billed 1hr. 30 minutes for a 30 minute job on top of a $75 trip fee.
Not sure if that is common, but good service overall. Thank you.
Excellent work done by Kevin and his crew, particularly Alberto and Howard. They did a wide range of things to re-invent my very old kitchen, including high-quality countertops, plumbing and painting. They adapted to problems as they came up and always had good solutions. They were also great to work with--responsive and resourceful, friendly and meticulously careful. Kevin's pricing was very reasonable as well. I'm already saving up to have them work on the rest of my house!
I usually don't leave negative reviews, but I was highly disappointed by the lack of professionalism from this company. I had an expert come out to provide a quote for a project, and he was competent and professional and said he would follow up with an estimate. But neither he nor the company ever got back to me. Three times over the course of a month I called to inquire and each time I was told casually by office staff that they would look into it and call me back, but each time they failed to follow through or contact me at all. I can't understand how a company stays in business if it won't get back in touch with customers seeking its services. Now I have to start fresh with another company - working with House Doctors DC has substantially delayed my project. I have had much better experiences with other local offices of House Doctors, such as House Doctors of McLean.
