They serviced our gutters during and helped through an insurance claim. Customer service was great and Chris was responsive which I really appreciate. I would recommend them!

Chris at Honest Exteriors was a great resource after closing on my first property and noticed a pretty old roof and hail damage from the recent storm. He was able to work with me and insurance and was able to get a whole roof replacement covered within my timeline. It was a very challenging NE Minneapolis roof with steep angles and their team did a great job!

I had a poor experience with Chris and his team from honest exteriors. There were a lot of hiccups (damage to my home, parts of roof not replaced, etc.) and in the end two other roofers told me the job was not up to current roofing standards, corners had been cut but not to such a degree that would have warranted legal or other repercussions. I would not recommend honest exteriors.

Chris and his team at Honest Exteriors are absolutely the best of the best at their craft. Chris expertly guided our process in finding the roof that was best for us - and his team did an exceptional job with the project. Their work was so strong that I recommended my neighbors work them, and they all were as happy as I was with the entire experience.

Construction crew did good work shingling home and garage, and siding an old house. Solved a number of door fit issues. Overall we were satisfied.

Chris was very professional and polite from assessment, claim process, to follow up.
There was hail damage in our area. Chris came and asked if we are interested to have had a look at the roof. He explained the process, set expectations, answer explained all our questions.
Though, the damage on the roof was very insignificant outside of their scope of work; they did a follow up to ensure we understood. I will not hesitate to call Honest Exterior if I have the need.

Chris and his crew were really thorough and professional. We had some weather concerns ,code concerns that had changed and a variety of issues that had nothing to do with them and they took care of all of it. The work looked great follow up was exceptional. I would definitely use again.

I recently had my roof replaced, and the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. Will made the whole process so easy, handling everything with my insurance and keeping me updated along the way. The crew was incredibly efficient—they were in and out in just two days! After finishing, they did a thorough inspection and even had the subcontractor fix a few minor items to ensure everything was perfect. My Neighbor went with Honest Exteriors, and they made a mess of my fenced in yard. Debris and nails all over that my dog could have hurt himself on. I was able to get the cleaning crew to magnet sweep my yard and hopefully get the nails, but if I wasn't home at that time nothing would have been done.

I understand it's a messy job, but I shouldn't have to ask for you to clean up your mess. That's just sloppy work site management.

I appreciate the worker helping out, and doing what they could in the end.

Honest Exteriors was great to work with - helped us navigate our insurance claim process and helped identify additional outside contractors to complete some of our exterior work that they weren’t scoped for. The work crew was efficient and did a great job with our roof, gutters, and aluminum trim!

Lewis made sure my claim went smoothly, and cost exactly what he said it would. They're contractors do good work.

We need a flat roof replacement and reached out for a bid. They sent someone out to measure our roof on Wednesday, March 6. He measured and said he would have a bid ready probably by Friday, March 8. I followed up 2 weeks later (March 21) for the bid to which he said he needed more measurements. I sent exact measurements of the roof in a pdf I had and was told that he thought that should do it and he’d check; stating that he’d either come back out if needed or send a bid with what I sent. It’s been 6 weeks and still no response. If you’re not interested in the job it would be nice to just let us know.

Honest Exteriors replaced my siding, roof and wrapped my all my window and door trim in aluminum. They did an excellent job. Their project managers Tom and Bairon were excellent. Very communicative and always followed through on their commitments.

Honest Exteriors helped a friend of ours with a project. Our friend was pleased with the work and recommended we contact Will. He helped us replace our roof after a hail storm. He and his team were responsive, knowledgeable, and worked efficiently. Upon completion of the work, they cleaned the yard well. If you have a homeowners insurance claim, do yourself a huge favor and call Honest Exteriors right away! I have one dedicated contact person who started working with me and my insurance company the same day I made a claim. They have excellent communication with me and with the insurance company. I’ve been well informed every step of the way. Their pricing is fair and I’ve had zero surprises financially - mainly because they let me know ahead of time when things could potentially pop up, like when peeling layers off a hundred year old house, what additional costs could come up if things need to be brought up to code.

Our siding project was very smooth. The project manager was responsive to our questions and we are very satisfied with the final result.

These guys were easy to work with and did what they said they would do for as much as they said it would cost.

This company has outstanding gutter and siding installers. They did both projects and the results are great. Their install teams ask a lot of questions before starting to make sure they understand what needs to be done. Then they quickly work through it and clean everything up. They were very flexible on scheduling and I highly recommend them.

I had a wonderful experience working with the Honest Exteriors business and crew! They were incredibly responsive, efficient and did really great job of staying communicative throughout the process from beginning to end! And, my new roof looks amazing!!! I’ve had experiences with contractors and Honest Exteriors blew the rest out of the water. They showed up on time if not a little before. They cleaned up and made sure the work was top notch. I’d hire them again without hesitation.

I have a partial claim with my insurance. Will, my project manager, has been great to communicate with. He's always quick to respond to any questions and always takes the time to make sure I understand where we are in the process. Highly recommend Honest Exteriors, the rest of the staff there have been excellent to work with as well. And they used a drone to inspect my roof! Super cool!!

Honest Exteriors employees and subcontractors are the best. Bairon Garcia was wonderful and neighbors even pointed out to me how meticulous he was making sure everything was done correctly and job site was cleaned up. He was responsive and took time to listen to my questions and concerns. The subcontractors are phenomenal and I enjoyed interacting with them, even though it was very limited.

I'll be "honest." I had a great experience with Honest Exteriors. From the start, the communication was great. Our roof was inspected, we were given our options for shingles, upgrades etc., and the roof was scheduled and completed at the times indicated. They handled the insurance side of things, and kept us in the loop with great communication. The roof was finished in a day and change, and everything was cleaned up nicely. It looks great. We used them for siding a few years ago as well, and that was excellent too!

Highly recommend this company for any exterior needs. Chris and his team was super professional and patient with our house claim. He dealt the with insurance company and made sure we had our damages taken care of. We got many options to choose with for our roof and sidings and very pleased with the results. We will definitely refer them to friends and family or our future projects.

Just a quick ‘shout out’ for the Honest Exteriors team that just removed my old shingles and installed new shingles for my house. Well done team Honest Exteriors !

The team removed the shingles using tarps to protect the outside of my house from old shingles and debris, they made needed repairs to holes on my roof and surgically installed shingles.

When completed, they cleaned around my house with leaf blowers and etc.., you couldn’t even tell they were there.

The staff kept me updated on the progress and when they expected to complete my project with no hiccups whatsoever. They sent me texts thruout the day which I appreciated.

The quality of professionalism, workmanship and installation was a 10 (scale of 1 - 10).

I would recommend their services to anyone.

After the May hailstorm Chris checked our roof and asked that that we inform him of the time/date the insurance adjuster was coming over so he could be present for that inspection. They were very helpful navigating the insurance paperwork. The roof was fully complete in three days and they did an excellent job on clean up. My house, garage and shed were damaged by a hail storm. I worked with Chris and he did a phenomenal job getting my claim approved with insurance. The team kept me updated through the entire process and made sure my needs were met. The roof, vents and gutters, wraps look amazing. Really quality materials and craftsmanship. My house looks so good, I keep getting compliments!

Update: In October I needed a new roof in a hurry (rotten section was leaking into the house). I gathered quotes and every other company told me I’d have to wait six months for seasonal workers to come back. Going an entire winter with a leaky rotten roof was a daunting prospect. Honest Exteriors had my roof installed in 2 weeks from the beginning of the process to the end, and I had a nice cozy new roof before fall was over. I received great advice about my options and communication was prompt and frequent. Adam could not have been more professional. My roof was unique and needed customization which he took care of without missing a beat. I continue to see Honest Exteriors signs on my block so I know I’m not the only one happy with their work!

Original review: Honest Exteriors was very responsive and prompt throughout the whole process of replacing gutters and screens. I felt like I got a very realistic and honest quote about the job when I was looking for advice on how exactly to solve the problem I was facing. Even though I was not very responsive, the office kept in touch with me about delays in the work, due to weather, which is understandable. The workers who came out were extremely professional, and worked in incredibly cold conditions that were unfathomable to me. Overall great experience, I would recommend!

Do not use this company. Chris lied to us about the total cost to us. He said we could take the money for gutters and just not fix the gutters. He also offered to include the deductible in the total price, then changed his mind twice. He is erratic and hot tempered. Tried to stop by at 10pm to pick up a check.

I love these people it wasn't my house getting done but our next door neighbors they came to my door and let me know that there was worked being done on on the next house over and warned us about the noise gave us there card and we're very kind during the entire experience and let us know that we have any complaints we could come and let them know. Thank you for the great service ( They knocked on the surrounding houses doors as well as. I have never seen any other company do this. )

Working with Chris and Kent from Honest Exteriors was a great experience. They helped walk me through the whole process of replacing our roof and window siding due to hail damage this summer. Everybody knows the rumors about shady insurance adjusters - well, our adjuster tried to claim various materials were much lower quality material than what they actually were. Chris called out the adjuster right away on the spot during the inspection, and has made sure we're getting the compensation we're due! Having a local contractor who was on our side and willing to handle the pricing adjustments with our insurance provider on our behalf was very valuable. All in all Honest Exteriors did a great job on our new roof and window siding, and I couldn't be happier to have worked with them. I will recommend them to friends and family in the future, and I have already recommended them to several others affected by hail damage in our neighborhood.
