Allie is amazing! My house in Aurora had really bad hail damage. Not only did Allie meet the insurance adjuster at my house, but she was present through the whole inspection. We had severe hail damage from the massive storm that hit Thornton, CO on May 30th last year. After getting referred to Homey Roofing and Restoration and reading their incredible reviews, we knew we needed a team who could truly advocate for us and help us navigate the insurance claim process—especially since insurance initially offered only partial coverage on items-claiming it was “old damage” or “not enough” damage. Allie had prepped us on this so we were ready for the next steps.

I rarely write reviews unless I’m either seriously disappointed or thoroughly impressed—and in this case, I’m definitely impressed. While I’m still in the early stages of a full roof replacement due to hail damage in Elizabeth, CO, everything has gone far more smoothly and quickly than I ever expected.

After a neighbor referred me to Allie at Homey Roofing and Restoration, I figured—what the heck—it couldn’t hurt to have the roof inspected, especially since it was free. Allie was able to come out the very next day. She showed me photos of the damage, and it was clear there was significant hail impact that I had no idea existed!

Before she even left, Allie helped me file a claim with my insurance company. Within a few hours, the adjuster contacted me and scheduled his inspection for the following day. Allie showed up to be available for questions from the adjuster. He quickly confirmed the damage and supported Allie’s assessment. Because of our higher deductible, he even mentioned that he anticipated some supplements would be added to the claim.
This will help reduce our out-of-pocket costs.

Next, Salvadore will be doing a final walkthrough to look for any additional damage that could be added to the claim.

I noticed some older negative reviews, but if the company had issues in the past, it’s clear they’ve turned things around. From my experience, they’re operating with professionalism, transparency, and genuine care for their clients. I truly feel like they’re advocating for me in the insurance process.

Do I know they’re building in profit margins? Of course—this is business. But if they get me a great roof and help minimize my deductible, I have no problem with them making a fair profit. They’ve earned it.

We needed to replace our roof after a large hail storm in May 2024. We had some difficulty dealing with our insurance company because we have solar panels, there was some confusion with insurance about who owned the panels and who should pay for the removal/reinstall. Allie helped us through the whole process and answered any and all questions along the way. Once all that stuff was figured out, the actual work was done very quickly, solar panels were taken off, roof replaced, new gutters installed, and solar panels reinstalled all within the space of a week. We thought we had a leak in our roofing. We got a call from Homey Restoration and met to have them inspect. We needed lots of vent work because of condensation inside the poorly vented attic.

Our insurance company denied our hail damage claim on our roof. Allie assured us that she could help us get the claim approved and she did just that! Allie from Homey Roofing and Restoration answered my call needing a repair of a leaking roof at my home. She came out that day to check it out and then sent two of her roofers out to give us an idea of what needed to be done. One of them (Salvador)used a drone to check out the whole roof and Hector went up to give his opinion which it turns out that the flashing on an old chimney was leaking. Allie gave me an estimate and with in three day Hector was up there, took down the old chimney and repaired the hole and added new shingles. He did a great job and I am so happy with this company and how they do business!

We hired Michaels & Marc Restoration as our “Contractor” and they did a wonderful job of replacing our roof due to hail! We were so lucky to have found their company on the internet and our initial meeting was scheduled very quickly with their agent, Allie Whitworth. She was very professional and provided a ton of experience and quality services. A few things stood out for us!
1. Getting our quote was fast and easy and, Allie provided us a professional proposal with several options while talking us through them.
2. The lowest price option was still a high-quality product. We were not looking for the cheapest – We were looking for best value and quality product. Allie listened to our requests and took time to answer all of our questions.
3. There was a considerable disagreement regarding the amount of loss calculated on our claim. We found that our insurance company was only going to pay for a portion of our roof. As our Contractor, Allie took the lead again to submit an “Appraisal Demand Letter with our insurance agent. By invoking the appraisal clause with our policy contract, Allie and her team were able to approve our entire roof for replacement.
4. Installation started as scheduled and planned. They kept us informed every step of the way, when to expect materials, and when the crew was planning to show up. The crew was professional and cleaned up after themselves every day. We noticed our neighbors were also having roofs replaced, all different contractors and, we noticed the difference in “workmanship, cleanup, etc.” We never had any problems of trash, nails materials left in our driveway!
5. Once the city of Parker completed their inspection, about a week later we received notice that we passed which we were not surprised due to all the professional work Allie and her team did. After the final inspection payment was very flexible with a credit card or check.
6. We hope that we don’t have to go through this for a long time as our high-quality product was Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration Level 4 shingles which means as a homeowner of a single family detached home, lifetime coverage means that our warranty is in effect for manufacturing defects as long as we own our home. For any and all roofing projects we will most definitely do business with Allie Whitworth and Michaels & Marc Restoration again!

Our roof, siding, and gutters were badly damaged in a hailstorm, and Allie Whitworth knocked on our door days later and became our personal crusader against the insurance company to get the exterior of our home entirely renovated--and largely paid for by insurance. She was a phenomenal point person, professional, very pleasant to deal with, a great communicator, and tireless in her determination to get as much as possible covered by insurance. And when the renovation finally began, she worked patiently with us and the crews to see to every detail, and now our house looks absolutely gorgeous. We highly recommend this company and Allie in particular.

We had Michaels & Marc Restoration Company look at our roof, after a hail storm, to see if we had damage. Having found damage we proceeded to have them give us an estimate. We research the company, read reviews, saw that they had an A+ rating from the BBB and had been accredited since 2013 and decided to have the Company proceed with the project.
Allie was in charge of the project which involved roof, gutter and deck damage. She handled all the dealings with the insurance company and was very professional from the beginning to the end. I highly recommend this amazing company! We have worked with Allie on multiple home reno projects and have been pleased each time. They are professional and their quality of work is second to none. Allie is available through the entire process and makes sure the work we are contracted for is done correctly and on time. Do not use this company! This is not a local CO company as they represent themselves. They aren't even legally registered to do business in the state. Allie goes around collecting checks and then they try to subcontract the work which would be okay if they followed through and at least ran this like a legitimate business. They require all insurance money up front (Allie says "it's not really your money, it's insurance money") and won't even provide an estimated install date as required by law in CO. They misrepresented their payment terms then demanded over $24k up front for a roof replacement and wouldn't even say when they would do the work but indicated it definitely wouldn't be in the next 3-4 months. No legit roofer requires this amount of money up front. They were supposedly going to do the work eventually and then collect the remainder which was only $600. Definitely set up to be a fly by night company. We refused and they withheld $320 of our insurance money claiming it was to cover their costs when all they had done was what they advertise as a "free estimate." They refused to provide receipts or reimburse me the money withheld.

Michael and Marc came by just going door to door cold calls. They did an inspection of my roof. It was in terrible shape. They handled everything for me and it was very easy, including handling the insurance claim. Everything went quickly, weather cooperated and it was done in two days. We got a new roof on the house and shed and gutters!!

This was the second time we had Michaels and Marc Restoration repair our home after a hail storm. Although, the process did take a while (there were many homes in our area needing repairs and supplies were delayed), M&M did a great job! If there were problems along the way, Kyle worked quickly to remedy a solution.

Great experience working with Michaels and Marc restoration on my new roof. I was a bit apprehensive initially but the longer I worked with these guys the more comfortable I was with the process. My mortgage/insurance took a LONG time to approve and deal with all red tape and approvals, but in the end I couldn't be happier with the finished product. Kyle was super patient and easy to work with, and helped guide me through the process. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to my friends and family.

I was extremely apprehensive about the insurance claim process after repairs were initially denied by my insurance company. Michaels and Marc helped guide me through the process of reviewing my claim and helping me get my insurance company to approve repairs that were clearly necessary, but were being denied. In an age where there are companies looking to con people out of their money, or do poor repair work, it was so nice to work with a company that I could trust and that completed the work in a timely manner and with the highest quality and attention to detail. I would recommend Michaels and Marc to anyone who needs repairs done and is looking for a reliable, trustworthy partner in the process.

Our new roof looks great. Very impressed by how clean the roofers left the roof and property. The process took about 3 months from initiating the claim to getting our roof. Kyle and his team did a good job working with our insurance company and keeping the process relatively painless. One recommendation, if you desire a non standard color edge trim, have the trim delivered a little early so you can paint it on the ground. I'm not looking forward to painting my edge trim while 20 feet up on a ladder.

We received a knock at our door in March 2016. It was Jeff and Kyle from Michaels & Marc. Admittedly our roof looked awful from the street but I was incredibly skeptical. We had already put in hail damage claims on our roof three previous times since 2012 with other roofers who convinced us to file claims. Every time, we were denied and then left with a zero-value claim (counts against you as a claim even though you received no monetary compensation to repair damage). To complicate matters further, we were told by the adjusters that we had three layers of defective organic shingles and just a little wind damage; the previous claims were denied based on natural wear and tear to the faulty organic shingles. I told Kyle and Jeff the whole history/saga of our roof. Even with all that, they were confident there was hail damage and assured me they would help us work with our insurance company to get a new roof. They said there were no guarantees but they would do everything they could. Unlike other roofers, Jeff and Kyle were with me when I called to make the claim and are very familiar with the claims process. We were denied the first time with the first adjustor but Jeff and Kyle encouraged us to be persistent and even involved their independent appraiser, something none of the other roofers had even mentioned or I doubt even knew about. After a fair amount of persistence, the second adjustor approved our claim for a new roof. I never thought it would happen! Within two weeks of our claim being approved, a team of hard-working, professional roofers was on site. They removed three layers of old shingles, installed the new shingles, and cleaned up the mess in a day and a half. I'm so incredibly grateful to Jeff and Kyle; they are professional, knowledgeable, and really know how to get the job done. I highly recommend Michaels & Marc for roofing needs.
