Rick was such a professional doing his inspection diligently and meticulously, explaining to every concerns of mine while he was doing inspection. He was very respectful and attentive to my concerns giving rough estimation of what some defects might cost which gave me a good idea of what to expect financially for repair works. Was referred to Rich by my realtor. Met him at the property and went along through the house with him. He pointed out the issues he located and explained what was wrong and why it was wrong. He found a few things that weren't so obvious.

All in all he did a good job and I had the inspection report by the end of the same day.

The service was as expected. Thorough, but not so thorough that I expected him to find everything. Only spending an hour or so in a house checking for things wont reveal as much as living in the property for a period of time. Thanks to Rich I now have an idea on the things I should get fixed as soon as I move in. I'm sure I'll find a few more things as we go.

Mr. Hall provided a professional and comprehensive inspection of a single family home that I’m purchasing in 2020. He was friendly and very detailed in his explanation of his report. I highly recommend his services.

I have used Rich twice for a home inspection. The first time was in 2012 were his missed a broken window. I know no one is perfect so I was fine with the one item he missed. I used him again in September of 2018. For this home his did not determine that the dishwasher only works on one cycle. When I reached out to him about the issue he replied that no home inspector checks every cycle of a dishwasher. A few weeks later a contractor we have remodeling the bathroom discovered that there are several holes in the attic of the house that the previous owners siding contractor just covered with siding. They are large and obvious however Rich made no mention of the holes in his report. As the siding was just replaced if he had noted it the sellers siding company would have fixed the issue. He also reported that the attic fan was not working which we asked the seller to fix to only be told that the attic fan was not needed with the new roof design. This caused the seller to question many of his notations of repairs needed for the house. I will not use Rich again or recommend him to anyone I know.

I've now used Rich as home inspector on two different properties. He is extremely thorough, and manages to consistently find both major issues that needed to be addressed, as well as smaller issues that might otherwise be overlooked by most home inspectors. He is very prompt, always arriving early, taking his time, and I don't think I've ever had to wait more than a couple hours for his full, detailed report. He is also willing to go through all the inspection items with you, to help you rank the highest-priority repairs. His rates are also very reasonable, especially given the high quality of his assessment. Highly recommend. We're happy customers.

We had a home inspection completed by Homeworx Services recently and enjoyed working with Rich. He was very thorough and detailed. He took his time as well as took time to clear up any questions we had.

He was early to arrive and walked through the entire house with me...taking the time to identify any problems, as well as identify things that were well done. All appliances were entered into a recall database, and I received notifications of one recall.
