Home Town Roofing did approximately 25-30 new roofs in my sub so I had no reason not to trust them. Myself and 4 other neighbors gave our deposits from last June to August and were told our roofs would be done but they were so busy they kept kicking the date back. Again, didn't worry too much because I saw them working in our sub. Winter came and went and after being promised they would start in spring nothing has happened. Now Joe Toth the owner will not return calls and has stolen our deposits. I wish I would have read the reviews first. Joe Toth is a thief! DO NOT USE HOMETOWN ROOFING!

I paid cash for the roofing to try to help the contractor out in South Lyon . I have 2 leaks and the roof is under his warranty and Hometown roofing will not return 4 calls over a 3 week period after the first initial contact weeks ago . It is truly unbelievable - especially the amount of money they made on a very large home . I would not recommend as I am pursuing accountability for the company - a companies word is a companies word with a warranty- see you soon Hometown and we will

Jeff E was great to work with. He returned all my calls and texts in a very timely manner. He was honest and up front right from the beginning. Anything he promised us, he followed through. There were no secrets and if he said he was going to cover something he did. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof or simple repairs. It was a pleasure working with Jeff and getting to know him. Very genuine and honest guy!!

Everyone I dealt with start to finish we’re beyong friendly and helpful. If I had any questions about the roof or the process itself I knew I could ask anyone and get the right answer. I have tried three times, last Tuesday (left voicemail), last Friday (got voicemail but message said it was not accepting voicemail because it was full, and then called and left a voicemail message this morning. I understand people are busy, so am I thankfully, but I give everyone the courtesy of a call back. I am not even in a big hurry

Contacted Joe this morning to fix a vent leak, the repairman was here that evening and fixed it. Great and very reliable company. They have all my business. Great job by all

Excellent service and response/ follow up by HomeTown Roofing ! I have had multiple contractors attempt to fix a leaky garage roof , to no avail . After many years of continued roof leakage I was referred to HomeTown Roofing. Joe, the owner, consulted with me and assured me they would identify and repair the problems , backed by a 40 year warranty . They kept their word and came back until the issue was addressed and fixed correctly ! I cannot say enough about how competent , professional and reliable HomeTown Roofing is . We have had multiple episodes of heavy rain since the roof was fixed - NO leaks ! I am thrilled and wish I could give them 10 stars . Thank you, HomeTown Roofing !

Got hold of them about a leak in the basement. They came out within the day and fixed it right up real fast. Very nice prices as well. 10/10 job.

HOMETOWN DID MY ROOF - I always felt a little strange having a review of my own house in this site.
So, I wanted to edit this, as to be more transparent!
I ran the install of my roof just as I would any another house. I even went to great lengths to make sure the crew wasn’t told I lived there until they figured it out at the end of the day ..... In short , I would pull into this site as I did the other 3 sites we had gkingbthat day and was working - My children were at school - wife gone entire day. They get 5 stars from me because they are still my lead crew & they we’re using headlamps to pick up tarsh at 9:00 pm when my wife arrived home with kids and I pulled in and they didn’t get mad at me for not telling them it was my home . Their faces were worth 5 stars alone ! THE POINT BEING HERE IS ROOFING COMPANIES ARE ONLY AS GOOD AS THIER LAST HOUSE !!!!! This house , my house , went off perfectly.

3 years later , it still to this day looks EXACTLY like the day it went on ! & YEA, I am still the Operations Manager, amd our last house finished two days ago was as hassle free as this house was .
Asked wife if she heard or saw anything while she was home with kids after school for a couple hours , she said , “ WE COULD BARELY TELL THWY WERE HERE.” To me personally- YES I would use Hometown, because WE ALWAYS AIM FOR PERFECTION, from START to FINISH !!

We returned from an extended stay out west and apparently while we were gone, a daylong windstorm blew and loosened shingles all over my roof, which I could not see from the ground. After a couple of heavy rains, we found the leaks! We called Hometown and he sealed up the roof and then helped us work with the Insurance company. Joe and Jeff and their team are professional, highly skilled, and courteous. They delivered more than what I expected and their price was right. To a man, the men on Joe and Jeff's team are awesome. Thank you guys!

Well, this guy, Joe, is a crook! Stay Away! He took my money and ran! I have a beautiful historical site that he totally messed up! He's a coward who won't return phone calls! He took 16,000.00!
THIS GUY IS A CROOK! Take a look at the pictures of what he did to me! He took my money and ran! He's a coward who won't return phone calls, doesn't like to play by the rules (i.e. get permits, etc.) and wants CASH so he can scam the IRS too! The News will be at his door this week, the IRS will be notified of the money he took, the State Licensing is already looking into revoking his Builder's License and he will have to answer to the Judge soon!
Run for your life when you see Joe and his little red truck that has the Hometown Roofing & Consulting logo! Because he's not a roofer in my book - he's a scam artist!!!!
Oh, I almost forgot, he so called cleaned my basement, took 500.00 and left the garbage still in the basement! Nice!!!
Hometown Roofing & Consulting in South Lyon is a CROOK!

Recently a major wind storm tore through south Lyon . After calling 10 roofing companies I was led to Hometown Roofing By google . I am so happy that I was .
Within 1 hour , my roof was water tight and Joe had explained every option so clearly
That I was able to make the best decision possible for my situation .
In the week to follow , my insurance company met with Joe & his operations manager at my house & to little surprise echoed everything Joe had already told me .
I am now getting a new 50 year roof .
I felt confident from the moment I met Joe and he did not disappoint-
I highly recommend him and his company to anyone . He is a very knowledgeable and honest person who my entire subdivision is very glad that we have met

Hometown arrived and installed the roof in about two and a half days. The installers were very professional and courteous while at the job site. I have personally recommended three more home owners for roofs.
