Hometown Remodeling did a fantastic job on our trim wrap, and facia this past summer. I really was impressed with the detail work that Jake (I believe that was his name) did with his assistant. I can't say enough good things about the attention to detail that they did for our home. You can't go wrong with having them do your trim work as it's perfection. Richard met with us in the beginning, and offered options, and solutions to things to make the process easy, and to make the look perfect for what I was going for. I really liked his honesty, and the assistance in getting what I was looking for. The lady in the office (I can't remember her name) was so nice, and a little comical at times as well as Richard with my husband because he's always joking with people, and she as well as Richard went right along with it. If we had any questions either she or Richard were great at getting back to us right away. Great Job Hometown Remodeling, and thank you so much!

We used Hometown Remodeling to replace the original siding on our 33 year old home. From our first meeting with Richard through the day Jake and Jacob finished putting up our new siding, we were pleased with the experience. Richard came to our house and talked through the various options available, answering all of our questions without making us feel like we had to decide right away. Patti was always pleasant to talk to when we needed to call the office for information. Jake and Jacob were meticulous with their work and along with Richard, were able to help guide us when we encountered some minor repairs that needed to be done as they took down the old siding. We felt informed along the way and could not be happier with the finished transformation.

The Hometown team was awesome. Richard, Patti, Dan and Robbie always showed up when they said they would and got the job done well!

Hometown remodeling helped me out of a tight spot with the city, my home is on the older side and I inherited it from my father with little to no work done on it so it needed quite a bit of help . Jake and Jake (Jacob) did all the wood work around my house and covered it so everything is protected for the future , it looks amazing and they managed to do it so quickly even though it was really hot . When we had our gutters replaced they also had Robby ( Robert) place up some shingles I had bought up so it looked better and he was really quick about it I barely noticed they were there and then it was done . Thank you all so much for the help my brothers and I really do appreciate it. We will be using this company again for any future issues with our elder house. Oh! Also Patti is amazing at her job she worked around my schedule and got back to me with all the information i needed when I needed it thanks Patti!

After mitigation due to water damage, I spent hours researching contractors. I decided to hire Hometown Remodeling to restore my kitchen. Rob, Richard and his team of highly professional, meticulous, and courteous workers did an incredible job in record time. I needed a contractor who would start right away and get the job done quickly, as I have renters living in the house. The renters work from home. I used Home Depot for replacement windows and Hometown was the contractor they use. Poor quality installation, poor communication, not timely and I'm still getting the runaround from Richard at Hometown and Sarah and David from Home Depot. The installer rarely worked a full day and didn't even show up on multiple occasions when scheduled. The company even had the installer move onto another project when mine was not even finished. I've made numerous phone calls and sent multiple emails, I still have issues (like damage they caused to my siding) that need to be addressed and I'm getting no response/ action. For reference, it's been over two months since Richard told me he would send someone out "next week" to address the issues. Save yourself the headache and use another company.

Response to the reply... you've had TWO months to find a free day to come out to fix my siding and the other issues. Why would you tell me you'd send a person out within a week if you can't find a free day in TWO months? You couldn't even send someone by to pick up all of the trash that your installers left. I had to load it all up and take it to the dump myself.

After a lot of thought and research, we decided to update our home with new siding, a new roof and a new composite deck. We had numerous quotes from other companies, but ultimately decided to go with Hometown Remodeling. Rich set the tone of the process from the beginning and there were no surprises. Rich’s professional approach and Patty’s support in the office were solid and ensured constant communication. Given the craziness of the building and construction market this year, everyone on the Hometown team made us feel confident in the work being completed. From the roofing crew, to the deck construction with Dan and Matt, and siding install with Jake and his son Jacob, they interacted with us and made sure we were informed and that we were satisfied. The best way I can describe it is taking ownership and pride in their work. We receive compliments all the time on all the work done and are still astonished ourselves every time we come home. Hometown Remodeling has done two jobs for me - a new roof and a patio door replacement. They do excellent, quality work, and I plan to use them again for any remodeling I decide to do in the future.

Installed new Atlas roof, wrapped exposed wood and new leaf guard gutters. Everything look excellent. Richard was very prompt with answers. Work was done in a timely matter even though there were plenty of weather issues. They handled all installation notifications/ not subcontractors (I believe they are all their workers, not subs)

We just had our siding replaced by Hometown Remodeling. We are very pleased with the final product and we are especially pleased with Jake and Jacob, the crew who did the work. They are very experienced and knowledgeable about their work. They made us feel extremely comfortable that all the work was done in the most professional way. We highly recommend them.

The professionalism and awesome customer service given from Patty and Rick from Hometown Remodeling was highly impressive. I especially like to note that the technicians that completed the carpet install was on time, respectful of our home and highly skilled in their profession.

They remodeled our Master Bathroom. It looks like a luxury hotel bath now. Every member of the crew was super professional and friendly. They even entertained my 4 year old who was very curious. Richard kept in constant communication and answered every question I could think of. Aside from the outstanding craftsmanship, I appreciated that they used a spreadsheet to track the budget and e-mailed an updated copy every time a job was completed. I might not have gotten the most competitive pricing out there, but at least I know exactly what I was paying for down to the penny. It wasn't cheap, but my bathroom looks fantastic.

Unfortunately, Not a good experience for me,  Flooring installation. I purchased a new construction condo and the builder only offered LVP installation on the first floor. I was referred to Hometown Remodeling. Despite the nice, warm conversation at the beginning of this process, the end result was a nightmare. I was under a deadline, Mistake 1,  so I was told by who I believe was one of the owners Richard. In order to meet the deadline, I would have to select from the red dotted items, so I did,  mistake 2. Get what you really want. The project was stated to last 3 days yet it lasted 2.5 months.  Now, once the supplies "actually" arrived the nightmare started. This was a brand new home just built with no damage etc. The carpet was in the residence for maybe 2 weeks before a subcontractor of Hometown Remodeling entered my home. They damage my walls, doors, hand prints on my freshly painted white walls, I cant figure out how all this damage occurred when they were just installing flooring. Please note I was not living in the house yet, so I know it was not me or my movers.  There wasn’t any furniture in the condo. Various pieces of LVP were chipped when they placed them on the floor leaving me to have to purchase wood puddy to fill these chips in my flooring.  The installation of my corner rounds or trims (although charged for new) were the old ones they removed. They were dirty, some cracked, also some were not cut at the proper angels, leaving the floor to look odd or out of place. Their attention to details was non-existent, with regards to the finished product as they called "turn and key". Then my stairs, they swear up and down that the stair nose was the matching piece for the LVP I selected, yet I have two different colors, the one I ordered and the similar color that is sold at Home Depot. The company of the flooring sided with Hometown Remodeling, yet I can clearly see a difference. Well,  paid my balance just to get them out of my home. In addition to paying them I had to pay another person to fix all the items that were damaged during this remodeling (flooring) project. I believe after 18 years their quality of work must be on the downward spiral and they are living off their name. I personally will never refer them as I spent three times the cost, I was charged for the disposal of carpet and the removal of my existing flooring, yet they used the dumpster onsite of the new complex. Life lesson for me. Learn from my mistake and find another company.

Hometown was referred to us by a friend, and I am very happy that we listened. We had all of the facia replaced and wrapped and gutters are on their way next week. We are more that pleased with the look of the facia. The detail and finish is perfect! All of the people that we spoke with were professional, knowledgable and kind. No pressure, no gimmicks. Hometown Remodeling did a fantastic job on my roof, sliding glass door, and trim. I was very hesitant to get the radiant barrier on the roof since it was an additional cost (not that much more), but I am super money conscious and it needed to make sense financially for me. My house is your typically 2 story house, cool down stairs and hot upstairs. Richard told me that the radiant barrier would help with this problem and my AC would run more efficient. I said Okay let's give it a try. Literally I could tell the difference as soon as the roof was finished. That very thin radiant barrier equalize the temperature between the down stairs and upstairs. I really couldn't believe it. My electric bill has been less and I cannot wait to see what happens this Winter. The sliding glass door is fantastic. When they were installing the door, they pushed it into place and I literally could not hear them talking outside. It was awesome!! The trim looks great as promised !! I could not be happier with their customer service and great products. Thank you

Great experience overall working with them. They replaced the windows on our house and not only was the pricing better than the other quotes we got but they were clear in explaining everything. Communication and scheduling was easy and the installation team was very friendly, professional and easy to work with. They were fast, and clean, and made sure I was happy with everything.

Recently had some flooring installed by Hometown Remodeling. From start to finish the process was very smooth. I usually get stressed when having work done on my house but everything went as planned/scheduled. Everyone involved was very professional and I love how it looks! I would highly recommend them!

I bought a 30-something house in 2017 and the listing stated that the roof was between 7-10 years old. The inspectors and appraisers agreed. My insurance company did not. I've been able to fend them off, but alas, this past October, I noticed water damage on the ceiling in my living room near my fireplace. I have a Synchrony credit card for home improvements and this company was listed as a participant in the credit card. They provided a quote for a roof replacement and new downspouts. Thinking I could use the line of credit I had, I told them I'd like to schedule work. Unfortunately, they weren't able to use the existing credit card and got me approved for another line of credit. They were quick to schedule the replacement, but it took a bit longer for the gutters and downspouts. The ending total was also much higher than what was originally quoted, which is why this is 4 stars and not 5 stars. When I met with the sales team, I explained my budget to them and how much I DID NOT want to pay and sadly, because they had to use the expensive plywood on my roof, I ended up going over my budget by several hundred dollars. There was also a hiccup with the financing because they had already opened the line of credit with Synchrony before they did the work and before I signed any invoice and Synchrony informed me it would be an interest rate 3 times what they told me on the phone. But, they quickly sorted that out for me, but I was pretty stressed out and peeved for a few days until they did. Because of the holidays, the processing of my warranty took about 2 weeks. In the end, I'm happy with their service and the roof looks nice. I had great pleasure sending my insurance company a copy of the warranty and pictures of the roof. I shaved $50 off of my annual insurance premium. Thanks for the roof!

After much debate about whether we should repair or re-side our 30 year old weathered home in Virginia Beach, we decided to call Hometown Remodeling. They had recently completed some jobs in the neighborhood so we contacted the owners of the homes and they couldn’t have been happier.
We were impressed from the very start of the process. Rich’s professional approach and Tina’s support in the office were definitely important in our decision to use Hometown.
Once we decided on the style, color, etc., the job went as well as we could have ever expected.
The installers, Jake and his son Jacob are true craftsmen and they take the time to make sure every inch of the job is completed to perfection.
We now marvel every time we drive up to our “new” home and have nothing but praise for Hometown Remodeling.

We inherited a house through a death in the family out of town. In order to sell it we needed to hire a contractor to bring it up to date. Richard met us on short notice and understood our needs. They completed the work on time and close to budget. We got in a bidding war because the quality of work was so good. Highly recommend!!

Hometown Remodeling replaced several windows for me some years ago and did an excellent job. Richard and Rob were very pleasant to work with and gave me the best price compared to other window contractors. I’m in the process of replacing some more windows and a patio door and again Richard gave me the best price. If you need windows replaced I highlighted recommend Hometown Remodeling!

We had windows installed by Hometown about 7 years ago and have been very happy with them so when we recentl had some exterior trim wrap blow off during a storm we went back to them. JP and Jason came out and removed the remaining wrap from all of our A's and replaced it with a better process that not only looks beautiful , I'm sure will hold up better in the elements going forward. They were very polite and professional and left the area free from debris. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends.

The workmanship was great the contractors were very professional . We had our windows ,gutters and trim work done and were very pleased .

The work done by Hometown and its sub-contractors was excellent! We had a wall removed, and the master bathroom remodeled (enlarged), as well as all new flooring. Many trades were involved, and our house (over 40 years old) had a few surprises -- which Hometown dealt with effectively as they came up (like the tree root in our plumbing line!). We are very happy with the results and would hire them again.

We are very happy with the service provided by Hometown Remodeling. They were very professional, stayed on deadline, and did a quality job. We had all the wood trim wrapped on exterior of home. No more ladders and paint necessary for upkeep!

Very satisfied with the price and quality of work performed. I contracted with them first to install soundproof windows after they quoted me less than half the price that Sears did. The installation went very smoothly, the crew was professional, and the windows work great. I then contracted again to have the roof replaced. It was done quickly, looks great, and they even worked late to finish up and secure all the material when severe weather interrupted the job. Compared to some other lackluster renovations I've had done, they are definitely my go-to contractor now.

These guys just did a roof job for us. It looks very good. Crew was very efficient and cleaned up when finished. Gary was our sales rep and he walked us through the entire process. Great job.

Hometown Remodeling did a great job replacing the old trim wrap on our windows and doors at a good price. We had no idea how bad it looked until the new material was installed. They were patient with scheduling, and when we finally were able to have them come out, Tony and Robert were friendly and professional, as were Tina and Richard in the office. Called around and received prices from different companies and Hometown may not have been the lowest, but Richard explained every detail of what they were going to do. We had another problem come up, not related to what they were going to do at our house. Richard called his guy and told him what was going on and he was able to give me a quote. He didn't need to do that but it was nice to know that he was looking out for his clients. The guys who worked on our house were both on time and pleasant to work with. We contracted Hometown Remodeling to install new siding, trim, wrap, gutters, doors and a railing on our house. When we met with Richard, he was very thorough with all the details of the project. He clearly explained the processes and products that were going to be used for the jobs as well as giving us advise along the way. Everything he covered with us is what happened during the install.
I believe I have the nicest looking house on the street and the work performed was top notch. Eddie and his crew is very knowledgeable in the work they performed. He and the office manager, Tina, kept us informed and were a pleasure to work with. They were attentive and quick to get back to us when we had any questions. The project started and completed in the time we were told.
In our follow up meeting with Richard, one again, he was very thorough in the process. He personally checked out all the work that was performed and made sure some little details, that I didn’t notice myself, were taken care of. Great price for the work completed. Had a little rough start with how the contractor started off with the project but Richard really came thru and made everything right! Will definitely use them again.

These guys replaced the siding on my home. They were very responsive. One of the owners came out himself to do the estimate. He educated me on what had happened and gave me a variety of options. The siding looks great and they finished earlier than was expected, which is always a bonus. I would use them again if I need anything done to my home.

After spending 10 hours in a week looking for a contractor to replace our gutters, repair and wrap the wood on the house and replace the soffits, we settled with HomeTown Remodeling. They weren't the cheapest, but offered a premium product at a very competitive price (about $400 more than a lower quality product). Richard was willing to meet with just me without issue, which is rare I found. They started the job 10 days earlier than I had expected and finished 2 days earlier than promised. The crews that he had out were incredibly kind to me and my children, showing me the process and answering questions I had. The clean up was phenomenal and even the 3-4 pieces I found randomly after the walk around were picked up. Everything was done 100% to my satisfaction, and that was ensured! I would recommend them to anyone!
