But, most importantly: the quote was exactly what we paid, the timeline proposed was accurate, the crew showed up every morning on time and worked long days until the work was done (which was especially meaningful as we had to be out of our house for the floor refinishing), if anything didn't meet their quality standards, they fixed it, and the crew was respectful while in our home--no smoking, loud music, etc (I worked on my dad's construction sites as a young adult, so I've seen it all). Overall, these were great people to work with and the results are beautiful.

The lack of communication and concern for our situation, along with the disregard for timeliness of the project was so disappointing. The only reason I didn’t rate with 1 star is because the crew Ben hired was wonderful and we love the finished product. That said, we’ll directly contract jobs ourselves moving forward. The PM was really pointless here as we had to do a good amount of his job ourselves. Save yourself some money and just skip hiring a PM.
