Got a cold call after buying a new home. They offered a water test which I initially declined, didn’t want a high pressure sales pitch. Lady promised it wouldn’t be that. She asked for a backup phone number only to be used if I am unreachable on primary phone, I gave my wife’s cell.. Hours later representative called her without trying my number first. We had something come up the next day, so I tried to call all numbers we had for this company. No one responded. At the time of our appointment we got a call from a third numberasking where we were. I explained we tried to inform them, but were unable to reach anyone. We set a new time. No one showed at the agreed time, so I called the guy back…he explained that he put the request in the system for the new time and it wasn’t assigned back to him. He then called to say because of storms/flooding they were backed up. Okay, but they don’t have the courtesy to call before the appointment time? On third attempt, again rep no shows and later called my wife’s number (supposed to be a backup number) without tryin to call me, and apologizes by saying he entered the wrong time in the system, could we go ahead at scheduled time? My wife responded we were not interested anymore. He said he would take us out of the system. A few hours later, get a call from a rep saying he is in my area, could we do a demo now?

This company needs to get their act together. Central appointments should be the only ones to set up appointments, and they should be reachable in the hours before scheduled appointments in case something comes up. Confirmation of appointments by email or text vs. phone calls might have avoided the screw up with third attempt. If technicians is running late and can’t make an appointment, central management team should be able to send a text message to notify affected customers. After all this disorganization, we had no interest in meeting with them.

After a miserable experience at the Home Depot in St. Augustine, I tried my luck at the Home Depot in Palm Coast and could get no help whatsoever.
After asking for help and told that someone would come to help me in the new water heater area, no one ever showed up. I did observed several employees playing grab ass and another employee walking around literally eating a bag of popcorn with his nose in the air shaking the bag of popcorn into his mouth. This while customers can get no help. Its really a shame that Home Depot has gotten so terrible at serving it's customers. I will stick with Lowe's and Taylor Hardware in the future. Home Depot
Executives better get their companies act together, or they are going to end up like Scotty's - OUT OF BUSINESS!

Also DELTA MECHANICAL is Home Depots sub contractors and installers. Delta does not return their calls. Both companies are a joke!
