HomeMatters LLC rocks! I scheduled an appointment on the Angi app about 2 weeks out, and Mike came on time. He thoroughly reviewed the damaged siding on our initial visit. The original siding around our carport had a cap over the top that fell away, and the team came up with a different way to attach the siding so that problem wouldn't happen again. The crew arrived on time on the repair day, completed the task, and reviewed it with me before leaving. They provided excellent communication and service throughout the whole process. I highly recommend them and will be calling on them again for future remodeling needs!

Mike came out to give us an estimate and was helpful and engaged every step of the way. He went back and forth with me no matter how many questions I asked (A LOT) and was always available. They were very prompt and went above and beyond to make sure the repair was done properly, and that the siding matched in both the color and shape of the pieces. (Not so easy with my 25-year-old house.) Would definitely use them again.

I moved in to a new home six years ago and the roof was not installed well. Each winter with strong winds I lost a few shingles. Mike at Home Matters was fantastic to work with - he was quick to respond, quick to get the work done, and price was extremely reasonable. During the last storm, I lost many more shingles and needed a new roof. Mike again was fast to respond - tarps were put on the day after the storm. He estimated the new roof to be installed within three weeks and actually installed it a week early. The workers were neat and fast. 2 days to put on the entire new roof on a large square-footage home. Again, the price was very reasonable. For a stressful situation, Mike at Home Matters stayed connected with me and worked fast to get my new roof installed. I felt confident everything was going to work out (which it did!) and I have a beautiful new roof! I highly recommend them!

I’ve had the pleasure to work with Home Matters Exterior Remodel and Mr. Shin on two different projects. The first was my home MD in 2013 to repair the siding on the left side after a hurricane tore it off. Mike’s team was honest, very professional, reliable, and above anything else did an outstanding job matching the new siding and weaving it in with the existing for a seamless finished product. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The second project was this year after a wind storm in the DC area. Because of the positive experience I had 5 years ago, I didn’t hesitate to contact Home Matters for assistance with the damage received after this storm at my mom’s home. His team replaced the whole sofit system, as well as replaced the fascia on over half of the house that blew off. He secured the remaining run that didn’t blow away, but was loosened. He and his team did an impressive job matching the new product to an older existing product and it blended almost perfectly.

I appreciate the care, time, and attention that Mike Shin provided to educate and walk us through what needed to be completed. His soft skills, specifically his honesty and communication throughout the process and afterwards as well as his commitment to completing each job, has earned a customer for life.
